If you want a great documentary about Cannon, Electric Boogaloo is the way to go. This one spent far more time on Golan and Globus, less on the movies. Plus, zero bonus features. No extra interviews? How about a Cannon Films trailer gallery at least?

I really enjoy the story of Cannon Films and I previously watched the documentary “Electric Boogaloo: The wild, untold story of Cannon Films”. This one was definitely told by the filmmakers themselves, mostly for the worse. I won’t watch it again, but I probably will watch the “..Wild Untold Story .. “ again. So get that one instead of you want.

It’s ok if you’re a huge fan of the cannon films and it’s two main creators. They don’t show much of the movies they made. Its mainly their personal life and career. A negative is they won’t talk about the failures they encountered. Would pair well with “electric boogaloo” which I think is superior to this.
