When the last season of this show started, I recorded all of the episodes. Watching that last season wasn't good enough any more, I wanted to see it all again. The price was excellent for all five seasons. This show was like watching a movie every week because it was so well done with every detail a high priority. I watch this show frequently, like the movie Battleship, it is so captivating and never gets old. It's also uplifting when they have a win.

"The Last Ship" was one of our most favorite TV shows given its plot line about the survival of humanity in a global pandemic and brilliant displays of heroism, naval and military strategy, and suspenseful and riveting episodes that had us eagerly awaiting the next episode. The acting was superb with Eric Dane, Adam Baldwin, Rhona Mitra, Bridget Regan, and many others who showed character development and convincing acting. I would highly recommend seeing the entire series if you haven't seen it already, or watching it again. However, I am returning the DVD set because it came to our house damaged. The box was slightly bent in the corners and creased on one side. This may or may not have been due to poor UPS handling in the delayed delivery process (the UPS tracking showed it should have arrived on 4 consecutive days). What was most disturbing was that 4 of the 5 season case holders inside the box had broken retaining tabs so that the DVDs would shift around inside the case. It is unlikely that the tabs broke due to poor UPS handling since most of the tabs were snapped off and missing inside. I cannot help but think this DVD set was repackaged after a return or that the factory packaging process was extremely shoddy. One last comment is that the Season 5 case had the DVDs in reverse order (what should have been the first episodes when opening the case was in the back). Clearly, someone had put them in incorrectly.

A very good series. Relates amazing well with todays real world situations. Follow a fast moving virus and the race to find a cure along with all the world tripping you up along the way.

Interesting series. Fairly well done, excellent cast.

Very satisfying conclusion to an epic story of a US Navy crew overcoming evil political leadership in this country and around the world!

I love this series! Too bad they discontinued making more episodes. I really enjoy watching it with my wife.

The price was excellent for all five seasons. Good story.

I'm only on Season 2. Trying not to binge watch but I want to say just one more episode...just one more.

Love the series but one dvd is not playing at all. We can't return it because we already opened it.
