Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne give great performances. This western has a good story line and an excellent supporting cast. I will enjoy watching it again and again.

Classic Wayne/ Stewart western plenty of suspense and drama. all time favorite.

I seen this film when it came out and it brought back memories

This is a very good blu-ray movie and I would have rated it a 5, but it is a 1962 movie and it is black & white, Not color. Really ?

Jimmy Stewart co-stars in one of John Wayne's best movies. In this non-traditional western, Stewart is a lawyer from "back East", who thinks that he can rid the town of it's murderous gunslinger, Liberty Valance (Lee Marvin), using his law books. Wayne thinks otherwise. As the song says, "The man who shot Liberty Valance was the bravest of them all."

Fantastic use of three strong actors. Lee Marvin the best Villain ever. Great competition between John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart over the leading lady. Watching once is not enough

This is such a classic western. I've seen it twice already since I purchased it. This movie has a great hero, great character actors, great love interest, great villain and so on and so on. And the ending is truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!!

Westerns are always good to watch. I haven't seen the movie though.

With three terrific western actors in this movie how can you go wrong? Lee Marvin plays a great villain while Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne give stellar performances.

This movie has a great supporting cast that makes this movie great. The story line is good and shows peoples values and morals as well as some personnel sacrifice for the greater good but hurts the soul.

This is a great movie with a star studded cast. must have for any John Wayne fan. The transfer on to Blu is great and sound format is updated. great price for $9.99.

This is a classic American western with a cast of legendary stars! This is a must have for any western fan. And to have it on blu ray is a major plus! Picture quality is awesome!

Very realistic as far as what it was really like in western days!! Am big John Wayne fan but throw in Jimmy Stewart and even better movie!!

A very well done John Wayne western with outstanding performaces from him and James Stewart. A few twists and turns makes it different than the typical Wayne vehicle. Only negative: Lee Marvin as the "bad guy" is way over the top; would have been a better movie with a more subtle performance. Overall, however, a very good movie.

A classic dramatic western that does not disappoint. A very good Blu-ray transfer. Definitely worth adding to your library.

A great movie. I wanted it on Blu Ray so I bought it. I love the Western Genre. You can't go wrong with the Stars in this movie.

Being as this is the first time this movie has been on bluray in North America, this is the best picture quality you can get on this movie. Unfortunately this disc lacks decent supplemental materials, but the movie picture/sound is great.
