I've always really loved this movie and have had it on DVD for a while so when I saw it on Blu-ray with a digital copy, I just had to get it! Love that it came with a digital copy because that just makes it so much more convenient for me.

Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ" is amazing. In my sixty-five years, there is no other movie like it. It grabs you, tests you, and won't let you go... Watch it, experience how it changes your perceptions of what happened to The Son of God, and grow in your appreciation of Him... You'll be glad that you watched this movie, for it reaches you on a very visceral level...

This is a really well made movie that represents, in a very graphic manner, what Jesus went through when he died. If you are a person of faith, this movie can be a great illustration of God's great love for mankind and what He was willing to do for us and can help drive deep reflection into this.

I am an AVID movie collector. There is no rhyme or reason to my movuie buying. I LOVE horror movies and classics. I bought this movies twice. I bought it in DVD format and when it came to Blu-ray I had to have it again. I LOVED this movie when it first came out so it was a must that I upgraded the format due to me having a smart television.

Powerful message! Intense scenes- not for children or faint of heart as there is significant amounts of graphic imagery. The message is powerful, moving, emotionally charged and impactful- to know that someone loves us so much they would take our place....

The Passion of the Christ is a great movie if you want to see how brutal Jesus’ crucifixión was. It holds no punches in showing all the blood and gore being crucified really was. Not recommended for children because of all the pain and blood that’s shown.

This copy had a version you can listen to in English. The original theatrical version was released in Hebrew and Aramaic. I thought it sounded goofy in English because of the dubbing. The English was only available on the theatrical version and not the extended version. I thought it was fine in the original Hebrew and Aramaic you don't have to read every subtitle because you get the gist of what is going on.

Most of the reviews are going to be based on peoples personal feelings about the subject not the actual movie. I felt that the story told was gripping and at points shocking. While based on a religious figure I didn't feel that it was as much of a religious story as much as a historical retelling of a man that is well documented in the ancient world. I suggest giving it a watch and before deciding if you like it or not.

I love this movie. It gives a great depiction of the events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I could never tire of watching it. Really makes you think how could one endure so much and yet still not loose the love for all mankind? What an awesome God! That's true love.

If you are into chritian movie i feel this is a good movie about the final hours of Christ

I totally understand the controversy this movie brings, but here's the thing, when I saw this in the theaters it was packed with people. When the movie ended and everyone got in their cars to exit that parking garage I witnessed nothing but kindness. People weren't in a hurry to leave, but in a hurry to help a stranger by letting them go ahead of them. Car after car let another car go ahead of them. That just doesn't happen. Not a single car horn was honked. No profanity. Nothing. It felt like it was silent. It was strange. Yes, Mel Gibson made this. Yes, he's done and said horrible things. I don't know. I like this movie for that reason alone. For one moment, a bunch of strangers just wanted to be nice.

I have always wanted to see this movie, but hesitated as I read that it was too violent. However, I really depicts all the pain and suffering that Jesus endured so that we may be free. Makes you love Jesus all the more.

Nothing wrong with the disc and the packagin was great. Great movie too.

This movie makes you live the events of the Passion of The Christ .. You feel the pain and the Glory, you mix with the people and touch His nails and wish you carried the cross behind Him .. It is awesome

A powerful moving motion picture that takes you back to a Time when Jesus walk the earth and the impact he's had on civilization since that Dreadful day he was crucified I recommend this movie to everybody

Very interesting telling of this special story. With the dialogue in Aramaic, the actors really made the viewer feel involved, like they were experiencing something special from a very different time and place.

This movie make you meditate about why we are here in this world and what is are real purpose in earth, very strong experience what he went through for us to have pardon in life for our sins.

This movie brings me to tears everytime I see it. In my opinion there's a level of authenticity to it that really brings the story to life. I think it's one of the best versions of this film.

This film is graphic and care should taken to ensure that very young viewers should be screened before watching. However, this film is incredible moving and impactful and should be watched!

The quality of the blu ray is superb. The pain of our Lord Jesus Christ crucified is so real. Without the crucifixion and resurrection we have no hope. Recommended for everyone to watch.
