Been wanting this film on Blu Ray for while, and for the price this is perfect. The Steelbook has good art and the Blu Ray, Not the DVD, is jammed packed with extras that any fan would appreciate. I will say though that a lot of the included features are pretty dated, like the Video Game Trailer. Overall this is a good collection for your library. One Major gripe is there is NO digital copy, and that a huge bummer.

CHO CHO right in time for the Holidays! Great movie

This movie definitely one of my favorite holiday movies,but l love to do movie day with my students,the can not get enough of The Polar Express!!!

Parents need to know that, like the book that inspired it, the The Polar Express has wonderful messages about the importance of believing, the value of friendship, respect for leadership and courage, and the beauty of being kind to others. But it's also an adventure, with lots of roller-coaster thrills and some scary characters that might be too intense and frightening for the youngest kids. The Express roars, speeds, and skids on its perilous journey to the North Pole. Sometimes out of control, sometimes racing against dangers and obstacles in its path, it's the center of a tale that's suspenseful throughout. The child heroes are frequently in danger -- from falls, getting lost, being left alone on a careening train, and navigating dark, shadowy places facing characters who may wish them harm. Also worth noting: The story focuses on a boy who doubts whether or not there is a Santa.

I like the pictures and the story. I like how they use the children to present the doubts about Christmas and how they clear the doubt to demonstrate the existence of Santa. Is so interesting when they walk Outside on the train following the girl’s ticket or the man and also how the find Santa‘a toy shop. I really liked the movie. The most important of this movie is that you can see it several time and you don’t get bored.

This is one of my favorite movies that I've watched 6-8 times over the years and it's even better in 3D!

From storybook to screen, nothing much is lost or left out in this movie. The story of a boy who has lost not only his belief in Santa, but possibly all of his childhood innocence. While that might sound a little extreme, I believe it always takes something small. As we grow, we also lose our innocence and belief in the simple, small things in life. This movie helps to awaken that lost belief, at least in my opinion.

The movie was great and still works perfectly. Was SO happy that Best Buy carried it as I was having difficulties finding the movie.

I every happy with the DVD. I had a old one and it would not work in my DVD player. This one worked great.

This film was fascinating to watch because I had seen all the publicity about the technology involved in creating the art. The story was never that compelling to me and the primitive motion capture was like watching a dubbed foreign film where you start watching the non-matching lips versus the dialogue. But this film is still interesting to watch and try to get immersed in the beauty of it. The animation does a great job of copying the style of the original book art and is really quite gorgeous. But I was distracted by looking for the actors behind the animation mask. The technique has been refined since to be more naturalistic but this movie is hypnotic and engrossing. I have to try it with my grand daughter to see if gets bored.

Since it came out the family and I really enjoy eating this movie on Christmas Eve.

This movie is a family must have! This amazing movie came out when my son was three. We watch it every holiday season. My son who is now 18 asked me to buy it again because he couldn’t find it at home. That look in his eyes remind me of when he was three. Tom Hanks really brings this movie to life. This movie is perfect for all ages.

The Polar Express just sort of became a favorite holiday movie for me one year after I ended up watching it everyday for a week during the Christmas break. I really annoyed family with it, but now they sometimes watch it without me. If there are any religious undertones, I don't catch them, and this is a nice departure from that subject.

Although the disc is good in its technical aspect, I was disappointed with the story. It was a bit hokey and really obvious with it's heavy handed "Oh this is the touching moment" scene or set-up. I would not rate this movie as a must see even for Christmas. The first Harry Potter had more magical (no pun intended) then this movie.

Great Christmas movie, Tom Hanks is great playing all the parts.

I know this movie has been out a while but every watching it for the 2nd or 3rd time never gets old. Especially enjoyed sitting down and watching it with my grandson. He stayed glued to the screen for the entire movie. He wanted to know if we could watch it again just before Christmas. LOL.
