These are really great underrated movies The action is better than most Hollywood blockbusters and the story makes sense. It's a hard R rating because of the killing as it paints a very bloody and realistic scene. The native language of the film is Indonesian but thankfully for me, it is also dubbed in English. My only negative comment - no digital copy.

You wont find more brutal fight scenes anywhere else other than these two films right here. The first Raid is great. The second Raid tops the first with its action and fight scenes. They are brutal and just ridiculous. To me, the second Raid ranks up there as one of the greatest action movies of all time.

These are two of my favorite films I have ever seen, and no one knows about them! Brutal, well choreographed action...a phenomenal story, and a director who truly has a gift- I cannot recommend this enough. I have probably watched it upwards of 34 times and it never gets old.

I enjoyed watching them and loved the intense fight scenes all the time. It was great to watch how the story goes to the insane parts and how the choreography is in the film.

Both movies in The Raid collection both have excellent action and fight scenes. The Raid 1 is a better movie than The Raid 2 in terms of story but both movies are high on realistic violence and action. A decent pick-up if you like fighting movies.

Not sure why it took me so long to watch this movies, but this was phenomenal. Action packed movies, and fighting scenes were unique and intense. Now a big fan of Iko Uwais!

The first movie was a great thriller of non-stop martial arts action. The sequel was average, but the martial arts action keeps you interested in it. The martial arts are the best part of everything.

Growing up watching Jackie Chan and Jet Li movies this one will definitely fill that void. None stop action packed.

2 absolutely awesome movies at a great price as is. Even better if you can get it on sale!!! Whenever I have people over who are into action movies and kung fu type movies, I play these for them. People typically haven't seen these films, especially if they're white. They blow people's minds. Every. Time. Must buy. Must see. Convenient little box that keeps 2 blu rays together. It's good.

The Raid movies are full if amazing modern martial arts action and are an example of how fight scenes should be filmed. Too many movies have shaky cam and fast cuts to give the impression of action, while these movies show you how it should be done: wide angles and fewer cuts that allow you to see what is happening. If you are a martial arts or action fan, these movies are for you. I was about to buy them digitally as a set when I found this set at Best Buy. Very happy to have the discs and the price was better than online digital download.

So, the Raid Redemption has virtually the same plot as Dredd but without all of the comic book trapping. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's an entertaining action flick with some very cool hand-to-hand combat scenes. Now, the Raid 2 is a different beast entirely. It's basically Goodfellas but some truly amazing action beats (and inventive gore to boot) that will leave your head spinning. It's incredibly long but well worth sitting through. You won't regret watching either one of these awesome movies.
