If you like Behemoth you will like this album. Very organic and black metal sounding. The polish metallers have really stepped up thier game on this one. You cannot judge this album on one listen..takes multiple spins to get where Behemoth is coming from on this one. Do not hesitate with this purchase.

Been listening to black metal for about 18 years, and while I won't go into how this album ground breaking or recreating the genre or anything, I will say that it is an excellent album. And if you watch the DVD and are familiar with the band, you can expect...and do receive...a very polished album. Recommend this album to any fan of third gen black metal.

I never really considered myself a black metal fan or whatever sub-genre these guys fall in, but something about this caught my ear. I decided to buy the cd and have really enjoyed it. Even though it's an extreme metal album, it has a very artistic edge to it. I really dig this cd and am glad I bought it.

in the realm of extreme music, I think this album deserves to be mentioned as one of the top full length releases of this decade. Behemoth continues to evolve and advance their hybrid style of death & black metal into the future, as they further hone their art and their craft. highly recommended.

Behemoth's "The Satanist", adds another great album to their catalog. Album is enjoyable start to finish. Listened to it a ton already and no signs of stopping any time soon.

This was my introduction to Behemoth and their style of music and I was blown away. Each song has something every unique about it. A must have!

If you like your music heavy and brutal, this is for you! Behemoth has been around for a while, but this is my first purchase by them. I was not disappointed.

I have to say that this record has been one of my most anticipated releases of 2014.for band who has beat the odds and came back with an absolutely stellar album.I think they have really gone back to the roots to their black metal style for the originally began in the early 90's.this is easily one of the most dynamics records to date.

Behemoth have always been on the upper eschelon of metal music. But sometimes, their music could be...claustrophobic. Relentless, to a fault. "The Satanist," like a fine wine, is better, because it breathes. You're able to appreciate the music more, because it's not bombarding you.

Album picks up where Evangelion left off. This album is a full frontal assault on your ears. The first album after Nergal's recovery, Behemoth has never been a band to compromise any part of the album experience and this album proves that they have no intention to start.

This is the first album after nergal was diagnosed and cured of leukemia and instead of going lighter with his songwriting and instruments, he digs to the deepest part of himself to bring out the most brutal songs the band has ever written

the 10th studio album by Polish metal band Behemoth is a fantastic example of their blackened brutality, with varied and memorable tracks, and some of my favorite drumming. Start to finish, this is an excellent album.

Behemoth continues to impress and improve as a band. From start to finish, The Satanist, provides the listener with arguably the best album ever made in the career of Behemoth. Longtime fans as well as new ones will not be let down by this effort.

This cd/dvd has great packaging, as a lot of attention was paid to detail this very personal album for Nergal, who heads up this brutal, monstrous band. Not for everyone, but those of us who enjoy the mentally challenging ideals and sonic blasts of this intellectual, yet tribal metal band from Poland, we are grateful.

This was a gift for my husband. He has been a Behemoth fan for a long time, and he said this didn't disappoint. I am a fan now, too. :)

For this genre, this album excels in production from top to bottom. Great lyrics and epic sound. I am truly happy with this product and band.

It was the music what I expected, black metal with thrash and death influence. If you like occult and thelemic themes then it is for you.

Behemoth always put out quality albums, but this one has a bit of a different feel, as it is not just a blastbeat fest like most of their stuff, not that their old albums are bad, but it is wonderful to explore and still crush in new ways.

This was the first Behemoth album I've purchased and let me tell you, I have no idea why I hadn't listened to them before. The songwriting is amazing and production perfect. I cannot find a weakness on this album! Go buy it!
