Both 1&2 Are Excellent! A very witty and hilarious view into The Secret Life of Pets when their masters are away and the pets can be themselves! Even if you're not a pet person, You'll still get a Good Laugh from these movies! Great For Adults, and Kids too-LOL!!! The Animation is Awesome!

I've looked forward to the sequel ever since I found out that they were going to make one. This steelbook looks top notch! Wonderful addition to my steelbook collection!

The Secret Life of Pets 2 is funnier than the first! The story: The story is told in ensemble format with 3 parallel plots that ultimately converge by the end, a much more sophisticated film structure than the first movie. The 3 plots are all hilarious and will keep children and adults amused. Additionally, there are good messages embedded for children. Max and Duke are anxious and jealous, at first, of the new baby. But they very quickly welcome them into the family. Also, with the help of a farm dog named Rooster, Max learns how to be brave when facing new situations. In the first movie, Snowball the bunny was crazy and evil although is redeemed by the end. In this sequel, Snowball's redemption is complete. He enjoys dressup and pretend play with his human child owner. And although he is still just as crazy as the first movie, in this sequel he focuses all of that energy on good, by dressing as a super hero to rescue a tiger cub from a cruel circus owner. The funniest subplot in my opinion is the part focused on Gidget babysitting Max's squeeky toy, especially learning to act like a cat from Chloe so she can rescue the toy from an apartment full of cats. All 3 plots converge by the end upon the rescue of the tiger cub. 4k disk: The 4k disk includes the movie AND all of the extras. This is a big improvement over the first movie that only had the extras on the regular bluray. More so than movies with live action, the 4k uhd especially enhances the visual quality. Extras and Bonus Features: There are a ton of bonus features such as "making of" type stuff. Among the extras are 2 mini-movies. The best of these is "super gidget". The other is a Minion mini-movie. All of the bonus features are on both the 4k disk and the regular bluray. Digital copy: The digital copy is in the form of a Movies Anywhere code. I recommend redeeming that code directly on the Movies Anywhere site. Currently the digital Movies Anywhere copy will stream in 4k via any of the following apps/services linked to your Movies Anywhere account: Movies Anywhere, Vudu, FandangoNow, and Google Play Movies. The mini-movies and other bonus features do not stream with the digital copy through either Prime Video or the Movies Anywhere app.

This sequel continues the story of Max and his friends some time after the first film. Max's owner gets married and a new adventure starts when she takes a road trip into the country to visit her husband's relative where Max gets involved with a rooster who trains him to be a sheep dog. The adventure also continues for Max's friends back in the city. He entrusted his favorite toy to Gidget, who loses it in a cat infested apartment, which causes a quest to retrieve it before Max returns. Chloe and Snowball also have an adventure, which involves the rescuing of a white tiger cub. All in all it is a series of fun filled drama, which the theater audiences enjoyed more than the critics, so see it and compare it to the first one yourself.

I was hesitating to watch this sequel. I was beyond scared because I LOVED the original movie so much. I'm so glad I gave it a shot it was a great story line and plot. I was SHOCKED that I liked it as much as the first I usually don't like sequels. I thought the animation was amazing it made a perfect date night for my little sisters and I. we all laughed and enjoyed all the characters and the whole movie from start to finish. I would totally recommend any one to watch this sequel.

The first Secret Life of Pets was fantastic. Original and hilarious, I wasn't sure they could pull of a successful second movie, but they did. I enjoyed it even more than the first one. With so many redundant movies these days, Secret Life of Pets, both films, are original, imaginative and very funny. I highly recommend them to kids 2 yrs to 95 yrs of age. My teenage granddaughter even enjoyed the film!!

The movie is outstanding. My 3 kids really enjoy it. My family usually purchases just the digital version of movies online, but since the price was so great on this steel book I decided to go ahead and get it. Unfortunately the digital copy code was missing from the packaging. If you plan on purchasing this (And you should) , check to see if it has the code before leaving the store.

I really enjoyed this movie. It is a great movie for everyone pet lovers and kids alike I especially like the part where they rescue the tiger from the circus owner it really touched me. I know sequels can be difficult because you always compare it to the first movie. I thought they did a great job. I also loved Harrison Ford as Rooster he did a great job.

I always say that Best Buy Store never been disappear from the our life because it have the most incredible quality items from the technology industry. I really appreciate you being here in our community. This is excellent, fun and fantastic movie for all family. I am very concerned about the Movie section it is fading everyday from yours line in the store.

Secret life of pets is awesome! I like to collect Steel Books and if I could I would make every one of my cases Steel Books. The art is cool and the holder inside is more protected from damage. It holds on to the discs better than a regular case also so you if you drop it the disc doesn't fall out inside the case and allow for scratches.

This sequal to Secret Life of Pets, was very entertaining. You get to dive in and get to know all your favorite Life of Pets 1 characters, and meet a few new ones. It is a very action packed movie, but doesnt hold a candle to its predecessor. Just watch it to enjoy as a fun filled family movie, and dont vompare it with Pets 1.

This is a very cute kid movie that everyone in your family should enjoy on a weekend night. It is one of those movies you should pop some corn, buy some potato chips and dip, and soda pop for the family to enjoy with this show. It is humorous from beginning to end, and the two short movies that are on the disc are also funny !!!

I purchased Secret Life of Pets 2 because the first one had been funny and enjoyable. I was pleasently surprised that this sequel is notably better than the original. The humor is outstanding, the visuals continually sharp, detailed and pleasing to the eye. There isn't really anything negative to say about this movie.

I bought this movie for my kids and they loved it. Colors are vibrant, and 4k picture quality is excellent. I feel that Pets 2 is better suited to younger audiences than the original, and the movie seemed overall more polished and engaging. The Best Buy exclusive steelbook packaging looks great and adds durability.

Great family flick that even adults can enjoy. I love the fact that there is always Sundance with these kinds of movies or always something we can teach kids. With a lot of shows or cartoons now a days that are absolute trash, it's great to still have movies with characters that can make us enjoy animations.

Got this for the 4 year old granddaughter and she just loved it, of course I was "forced" to watch it with her! Asks for it to be played often, so often I think I could turn the volume off and she knows all the lines. These never get old and are actually fit for the age group they are targeting.

I really enjoyed this movie. I almost liked it more than the first! It was cute, good storyline and brought back all the original characters. I liked that Duke was a nicer dog, he was more enjoyable to me. The whole movie was funny and I laughed so much. Will watch this movie over and over!

The Secret Life of Pets 2 (3 out of 5 stars). The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a decent family animated comedy film that kids will love more than the adults. The story continues with the characters from the first film. The film follows Max when his owner falls in love with a guy. And they begin their lives together and have a child. Which he was afraid at first. Until, Max falls in love with the kid and tries to be a babysitter for the kid. Meanwhile, Snowball the bunny and another dog rescue a tiger from a circus. Which they try to sneak into their apartment complex. The plot is thin and decent with this sequel. Which makes you wonder what the whole story of this movie. The theme of bravery comes into play when Max runs into Rooster which is a farm dog. That tries to make him brave. The film does have some fun humor that kids will love. The animation is colorful and fun to look at. The voice talent is decent. Overall, The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a fair film. Kids will love the movie more. Adults may get a little bored with the movie since the humor is aiming for the younger audiences. The story is thin and the movie is a bit boring with this sequel.

We also saw this in theaters and of course, my daughter has to have it in her collection. I enjoyed, as an adult, the first one but the second one wasn't too bad. You know, the original is always better. But I'm sure your kids will enjoyed this movie.

A nice sequel to the first film. I would have liked to see more of them on the farm, I think that would have been nice. They could have cut out the witch man from the circus altogether, I didn’t really like that segment too much. Oh well... it’s just a movie.
