Very cool anniversary version of the 80's Transformers movie with lots of special content and a truly great steel case.

Movie is classic. Orson Wells and Leonard Nimoy do some great voice acting here. Talk about your childhood nostalgia.

The original Transformers film has great cast and the steelbook looks great as an addition to your movie collection.

I’m annoyed that the digital copy is no longer available with this purchase, it actually expired in September 2017, so I’m out of luck there, but the movie itself is still quite fun. It’s nice to look back and see that even though technology wasn’t there they had the ability to create great stories, and really, the animation is pretty good. Basically though I bought it to be reminded of my childhood and it was pleasantly surprised to find that I still enjoyed it. The music is fun, though not Disney, as in, you’re unlikely to sing to it. I’ve already mentioned the animation quality is good and the story is great, so really the only question of whether or not you should buy this is if you have the money. It’s honestly a great way for someone who doesn’t want to invest the time to rewatch the old show episode by episode to get to relive their childhood, or, if the movie is older than they are, for someone to get a good idea of where the Transformers story began. If you’re only exposure to Transformers is the live action movies this is a good way to see where all those stories came from, and yes, I would definitely recommend just about anyone with any interest to get it.

Brings back great memories of an incredible cartoon show with great music and battle scenes. Good suspense too.

This Movie is sooooo nostalgic for me. Absolutely through pinnacle if the transformers series with an all Star voice cast and beautiful hand drawn animation. Best part is watching it with my young son experiencing it for the first time and truly enjoying it too! Brings a tear to my eye (like when prime ....well you all know. There wasn't a 10year old anywhere that saw that part and don't tear up, haha). Oh yeah, a banging 80s soundtrack to boot. Word of warning, the digital copy is not through mainstream streaming services but a company called VHX. There is an app that allows you to stream movie to a Chromecast though and you can download a 1080p file to watch on phone computer etc . Enjoy!

This is a must have for all transformer enthusiasts. The music and animation style are simply awesome.

If you're the type who likes to reminisce on the good old days of cartoons, this is the buy for you.

They really did an impressive job on this update/transfer. The colors and depth are amazing to watch. The soundtrack is also amazing. It comes with not only a 5.1 Master Audio track, but an original 2.0 stereo Master Audio track for those who dont have a full surround sound. The fact they corrected some of the color mistakes (Hot Rod being pink etc) from previous releases was enough to sell me on this one. My only disappointment was that the case promises deleted scenes, which are rather in fact, story boards showing what could have been if they would have animated those story boards... not a deleted scene at all... more of a what could have been. regardless. a far superior edition that any Transformers Fan will be kicking themselves if they miss out on.
