There are really no words to express how amazing this movie is in 4K HDR. It truly is the movie that will be your showcase to show off your home theater setup. Do I need to talk about the movie? A classic in the true sense of the word, and beautifully shot and performed. Songs are incredible and catchy. The print is beyond anything you could have imagined. You will see colors you didn’t even know the movie had in it. Don’t wait to own this masterpiece, and if you have not yet graduated to a 4K HDR TV this is a huge reason to do it.

This a great buy. $9.99. How can you beat that for a 4k UHD version of one of the greatest movies this country have ever made. The film looks incredible. I recommend this to any film collector, Judy Garland fan, parents who want to show their children a wonderful film the entire family can love, or just 4k afficiandos. I hope Best Buy does this sale again for ALL their Dvd 4k library they stock.

If you're like me you just didn't trust all those low price upgrades of one of the all time classics. I just couldn't pull the trigger. Well patience is a virtue because this 4k transfer is nearly flawless. The B&W to Color effect is intact and you can even feel a little bit of that magic audiences must have been blown away with back in the day. The scenes centering around the Tin Man in the woods, really look gorgeous and surreal. Just a lot of fun seeing Oz look this good.

This DVD of a newly remastered "Wizard of Oz" is breathless, far better than any other DVD. No film defects from wear & tear, no aging as it has been rejuvenated and presents as if seen for the first time in 1939 from a virgin never been shown movie reel. The 3D version immerses you in the story like no other version. It's not as good as if it were shot originally with a 3D camera, but it is still pretty good and worth the purchase. This movie is timeless and has no age restrictions, so the entire family can enjoy this masterpiece of creation and conversion to a format that will last for centuries.

This is a great classic movie that I never get tired of watching. Like to have on hand for grandkids to watch and they absolutely love it too!

I have seen the wizard of oz so many times and on so many formats. Regular std tv, VHS, Blu Ray, streaming and this restoration truly has this classic film looking completely like it was filmed today. HDR use in this has colors looking crisp. One of my favorite movies of all time.

Wow, looks great in 4K! I grew up with a black & white TV so I rarely saw this movie in color. Plus it was so long, I never watched it completely. Now that I own it and can enjoy it in installments, plus the vivid view of 4K, it is such a treat. Timeless entertainment!

Beautiful restoration--almost TOO beautiful, TOO spotless (no one would ever have seen such a flawless print in 1939 or any year after, not on celluloid film anyway). On the other hand, it doesn't suffer from plastic-looking noise reduction or digital over-smoothing; it looks like a filmed image, and the Technicolor grading is gorgeous. I'm bummed that there's no original mono sound mix on the 4K disk (though the included Blu-ray has it, and it's lossless, I think). Worth your time and money.

Beautiful, colorful, and the story is superb. Acting is second to none. This movie is family movie free of woke agenda. This won't win me a prize. But its the truth. If you long for a movie free of homosexual content, swearing, and filth. This is you golden oldie.

This remaster is magical. Even well before Dorothy lands in Oz, details spring off the screen from the stripes in her dress to the straws of hay on the farm. And then a whole new sensory experience beyond that awaits once the color kicks in and you can really appreciate things like the texture of Scarecrow's makeup and the rusting on the Tin Man. You might expect all the old-school effects to fall apart under HD scrutiny, but everything holds up remarkably well.

A great old classic move . Back in the old days before cable TV it aired on network TV every year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This Blu Ray and UHD is a very clear bright copy of a 84 year old classic movie.

The Wizard of oz is one of the all time classics. This is one movie that I can watch 10,000 times and never get tired of it. I can't say enough on how many times I enjoy The Wizard of Oz. Every time I watch this I enjoy it more and more everytime I watch it. I know everyone else that watches it will love this more each time they watch it. :D

Great to finally have this movie in 4k! I really like the artwork on the inside of the case. The artwork on the outside is okay. It would be so much cooler to have the artwork from the standard 4k release with the tornado. This one is kind of plain but oh well. If a movie is in 4k my preferred way to own it is steelbook, so keep them coming. This one arrived with no damage. PS: Best Buy, please stop sending steelbooks in bags or mailers. They almost always get dented or bent and then I have to return them and wait for another. Just use a box.
