::: Initial thoughts & personal experience ::: This review is a little difficult for me to write than my usual reviews the reason being that I am not an expert in items like this. Regardless here are my thoughts on the product and a little background on how this product has helped me personally. Last year I had experienced a job related accident and I had a slipped disc, a torn hip and knee. It took me nearly a year to recover and I feel good for the most part but I still experience pain from time to time and especially if I happen to sleep wrong. More often than not I sleep wrong and end up with back pain, leg and neck pain. I was very excited to receive the G3 Pro because I wanted pain relief without having to constantly rely on pain medication. And to my surprise the G3 has been a wonderful experience. I honestly was doubtful that this would help much. Once I unboxed the G3 and powered it on I immediately knew that I was wrong. This is coming from me using all sorts of contraptions like TENS units and foam rollers and etc. The pain would be relieved temporarily and then come back. My new routine consists of using the G3 prior to sleep to help loosen any tension throughout the body and especially the trouble areas that I had spoken of earlier. I find myself with less neck and shoulder pain to hardly any at all. And overall I believe I will be able to return to the gym very soon and workout like I used to. The following is included; the G3 Pro itself, six different attachments to help relieve pain in different areas of the body, two rechargeable batteries, an awesome carrying case, a small zipper pouch, and the charger and dock to charge the batteries. Out of the box I used one of the batteries to test out the device and I was impressed the G3 isn't like the weak massagers that are found online or at your local pharmacy. This is the real deal and is high powered and will beat the pain you may have into submission. If I am not mistaken there are two settings low and high, It is hard to tell because there is a single button which the power and vibration intensity share. The head is adjustable and rotates to help target whatever body part you would like to target such as your shoulders, back or feet. This device is the cream of the crop in pain management. I honestly haven't needed to visit my chiropractor as often thanks to the G3 It is as powerful if not more than what my Chiropractor uses when I go for a visit. :::Pros & Cons::: Pros: - Neat Carrying Case - Can be used plugged in or by battery - Multiple attachments for comfort - G3 is lightweight and easy to operate - 2 batteries are included and a dock for easy charging - Fast pain relief Cons: - Haven't found a negative yet :::TL:DR::: The Theragun G3 Pro is the top of the line model that they currently offer. There are different models but this is the one that you will want if you have pain that is unbearable at times and you have tried everything and keep relying on painkillers. Now this isn't a miracle device but it is to be used as a routine to help with pain management. If you use it regularly like I do you will find yourself experiencing less pain and soreness. Yes this device does cost a bit much that you are most definitely getting your monies worth here. If you are on the fence about whether to purchase or not don't hesitate and pick it up as soon as you are able to. You will most certainly be glad you did.

I did a video review comparing the G3 against the Hypervolt. I'm doing another one soon comparing this to the Tim Tam Pro unit also. In summary, this is the best unit you can get right now. If you catch it on sale just grab it. It has the best features of any unit by far and the most power by a large margin! Video review link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rpRR_a5Cv4&t

This is why I decided to try the Theragun G3Pro. My fiancé sometimes have back spasms because she is on her feet all day and after I workout I feel sore a few days after. We have been trying to find a solution. We tried professional couples massages and they are great but who really want to add that to their reoccurring monthly bills. Chiropractor maybe would probably help but again the cost is not realistic when it’s not a 1 time thing. Then came along the Theragun and I think this might solve the back spasms, muscle aches and it already make up for the cost after a few uses. Appearance and operation: The Theragun has a futuristic appearance and all it takes is a push of a button to start. It is fully adjustable and it allows me to massage my hard to reach areas. After I finish my workout or a run I immediately try to use it as I relax my muscles. I feel the difference because I have soreness when I do not use the Theragun after my workouts. I find it more effective when I have my fiancé use the Theragun on my muscles and she don’t need to do much except move it around. Each rechargeable battery keep a charge for about an hour and a half which is plenty of time to get a great massage. The added attachments make it easy to customize your massage the way you want and one of the attachments even mimics a thumb to get a human like feel on your lower back. My ending takeaway: The Theragun is very simple to use. I could of easily figure everything about using it without the manual. It feels very sturdy in my hands and that lets me know the quality is good. The ahhhmazing! feeling I get when using this is something that is hard to explain. I will certainly recommend the Theragun G3Pro because of the fact that my muscles are no longer uncomfortable with soreness. It is the perfect portable handheld massage that is around to make my soreness feel more like awesome-ness. This is a cost effective way to invest in making your body feel good. My only con is it sounds a bit noisy but the noise does not affect the performance.

I am not a pro athlete at all. I only run when something big and scary is chasing me or there is an ice cream truck down the street! The Air Force killed any desire in me to run ever again. That being said, I do still try to keep in shape mostly via hiking and cycling. That combined with being on the down-side of my 40's leaves me with some aches and pains. Both my wife and I have regular appointments with a massage therapist (her - 30mins every other week, me - 60min every month). I was looking for something that maybe would help out for the in between times when she and I are both thinking 'should we call for an extra appointment?' When you are looking for something to replace an extra $50-$60 a month charge (or more), the rather steep price of the Theragun G3Pro doesn't seem as bad. It would only take a few months of doubling up therapy sessions to pay for the G3Pro. The Theragun is an impressive piece of equipment and you can tell that right upon opening the box. It is a solid piece of machinery and everything has a 'professional' feel to it, which is good because it is a professional device. I've seen these and other devices like it both in our massage place and physical terrorist (*ahem*, sorry) THERAPIST offices. Ok, I'm sure you really just want to know how well it works and whether it is worth your time or not. The answer to the first part is that it works awesome, once you get the hang of it. It will take some time to get good at this, I'm still not great at it despite having it for a week now and having a PT colleague of my wife show us how to use it best. I was VERY disappointed the first time I tried it and the gun went from painfully jabbing me, to feeling pretty good, to jackhammering off of my bones and setting my teeth rattling. The art to this device is knowing where you put pressure on and where you let the device 'float'. You also need to stick to muscle groups and ALWAYS avoid places were it is mostly bone (spine and such) because that is where you will get the jackhammering and some nice bruises (not kidding on that). Also, I highly encourage you to download the Theragun app for your phone and pay attention to what it shows for each are and follow their advice. You will not be using this for half an hour on your shoulders or wherever, you will be using it for a few minutes at most in each area and you might go over an area again after doing some rounds in other spots. This is NOT one of those inexpensive shiatsu massage devices you get by the checkout counter of some stores. It is designed to break up muscle tension and to activate muscles to start to recover from exercise. The answer to the second question above 'is it worth it?', is dependent on whether you are willing to learn how to use it properly. If you want something you can just absentmindedly use, get one of those $50 massage devices and call it a day or better yet, buy one of those $2000 chairs. If you just want someone else to do it with ethereal music and scented oils involved, just pay a masseuse. I would rather be able to knock out the pain and tightness on my own time and not worry about whether they have an opening or not and not have to spend the extra money if I don't have to. So for me, the Theragun G3Pro is worth its price. I knocked off one start only because I think they could use a little more instruction on how best for everyday bums like me to work it and I really wish it had an additional setting at the lower end. The lowest setting out of the two is ok for me but WAY too powerful for my wife who is a tiny 4'11'' thing. She does not like using the Theragun and will be getting extra massages when she needs them (so I guess I will only be saving money on my extra massages). As for the highest level, I don't even bother with that. I think that has to be for a pro to use on you so that they can best target it and control it.

AMAZING Premium Percussive Massage Gun by Theragun

Theragun G3PRO Professional Handheld Percussive Massage Gun --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *****Review***** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are you sore after your workout at the gym? Do you spend countless hour(s) lifting weights and foam roll? Maybe your legs are sore after a nice long run. You know what? Maybe you just have some crazy built up knots from all that daily stress of life or work. Let me introduce you to the G3Pro by Theragun. Theragun created the percussive massage gun so that it can target all those places you want to feel better or recover. Theragun includes six attachments with your G3Pro to specifically hit certain areas/muscles of your body. Along with the six interchangeable attachments, you are also equipped with an adjustable arm so that you can reach those harder to reach areas. Let's say you want a bit more “oomph” in your therapeutic session, the G3Pro has you covered because Theragun has equipped it with 2 different speeds to satisfy your needs and desires. Theragun also includes an extremely nice premium travel case. I found that the case is AMAZING because I can literally take it with all the accessories anywhere and everywhere that I want to and everything stores perfectly (plus it looks and feels premium). Worried about battery life? I wouldn’t because the G3Pro by Theragun includes 2 batteries and 1 is going to last you approximately 75 minutes; thats a total runtime of 150 minutes. The smart thing to do is while you’re using one, you have the other charging/charged; just keep hot swapping if you need it longer than 150 minutes. During my usage and experience of the G3Pro by Theragun, I must say that I am honestly quite impressed. Not only is it super simple to use, it’s really therapeutic as well. I hit the iron facility 6 days a week (Monday ~ Saturday) with 1 day of rest (Sunday). So to be completely honest, my body is quite hammered by the end of the week; until the Theragun G3Pro came into my life. After a couple sessions of the G3Pro, I can feel that I have better range of motion, muscles aren’t as fatigued, helps with making any cramps I have (specifically calves) feel much more relaxed, and the icing on the cake… helps break up any knots/stiffness I come across. For someone that doesn’t hit the gym and does a lot of cardio like marathons instead, the G3Pro is also effective for recovery and soreness. If you are wondering “I don’t go to the gym or do any cardio”, doesn't matter; the G3Pro can benefit you with just relieving you from your daily stress. My spouse doesn’t prefer to exercise but uses the G3Pro on the regular for her shoulders and she has fallen in love with the G3Pro. If you’re a total newbie and don’t know where to begin, I would definitely recommend the Theragun app. The Theragun app provides you insight and helpful information to guide you through the usage of the G3Pro. My only gripe that I have with the G3Pro is that it’s a bit loud… The G3Pro by Theragun is their third version of a percussive massage gun. I personally don’t own the previous models but looking at some videos of the past models will shed some light on what I am about to state. The G3Pro is DEFINITELY a lot quieter than the previous model. The previous model sounded like construction going on right at where you used it. I compared it to my friends Hypervolt by Hyperice and unfortunately the G3Pro is still relatively louder than the Hypervolt. So when we’re in the office and I want to break out my G3Pro for a quick session, it’s kinda hard to do that because of the noise. But if my friend breaks out his Hypervolt in the office (as he has been for a while now); no one really says anything about the noise. When I use it at home, I have to be cautious of what time I use it because I have 2 kids and if they’re sleeping; I can’t whip out the G3Pro unfortunately. This is also an issue if you live in an apartment environment as your neighbors may be bothered by the noise. One thing I noticed during usage though is that I really like the way the G3Pro feels on contact as opposed to the Hypervolt by Hyperice. I guess it ultimately depends on personal preference but in my opinion, I feel like the G3Pro works much better and has a more “percussive” element to it as opposed to the Hypervolt by Hyperice. Overall I am thoroughly impressed and more than satisfied with the G3Pro. I wouldn’t consider myself a bodybuilder but I’m definitely an active individual. I mean hey, how many people actually wake up at 3am every day to hit the gym? Why not reward myself and relax myself with the G3Pro by Theragun. The G3Pro has helped me with my recovery and is definitely cheaper (in the long run) than going to a massage therapist at least once a week. Whenever I am at home and I need a quick fix of relaxation or if I am specifically sore in one area; I’ll just whip out the G3Pro by Theragun and get a quick session in. As mentioned above, my only gripe is that it's still a bit loud in my opinion. Theragun has taken some necessary steps to make the G3Pro quieter than the previous model and I’m sure the next version will have an improvement as well. As long as you’re not intending to use it in a quiet environment all the time, you should be perfectly fine. Knowing that Theragun cares and did what is possible to lower the noise from the previous model shows that Theragun cares about their product (or in a combination of listening to their buyers). So the next time you hit the gym, go on that run or simply just need a therapeutic relaxation session; consider looking into the G3Pro by Theragun for your recovery instead of the traditional foam rolling or massage therapist. I would definitely and highly recommend the Theragun G3Pro to friends, family, and gym pals without hesitation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *****Quick Features & Specs***** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Theragun's proprietary treatment technology: Combines a 16mm stroke length and speed of 40 percussions per second to create a fast, more effective deep percussive tissue massage. Two speed settings: Choose optimal power for efficient massaging. Six interchangeable head attachments: Help fit target muscles. Adjustable arm: Allows you to conveniently adjust the arm angle to comfortably extend reach while holding the device. Japanese industrial-grade motor: Ensures unmatched muscle treatment depth and speed. Two swappable rechargeable lithium-ion batteries: Provide up to 75 minutes of use per charge for each. Charge one while the other is in use, and swap them out for continuous runtime. Premium travel case: Lets you conveniently carry your G3PRO device, two swappable lithium-ion batteries, lithium-ion battery charger, attachment pouch, and six attachments. Sound-minimizing design: Get all the power you need without the sound you don't. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *****What's in the box***** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Theragun Professional Handheld Percussive Massage Gun 2x external Lithium-ion batteries Lithium-ion battery charger 6 Pro attachments Premium travel case Owner's manual

    Very effective percussion massager

This massage tool is unique with its flexible head position to maximize reach. The case is very sturdy and sleek. The batteries are a breeze to charge and take about an hour or so each. Unlike most massage tools this is designed to float over your muscles rather than be applied with pressure unless you need deep pressure. The percussive action is highly effective in providing pain relief and loosening tense muscles. The attachments simply pop on and off as needed but are held in place by a metal button and won’t detach unless you want them to. I have found pain relief from bursitis in my knee with this tool and relief of some very stubborn lingering shoulder pain. It is similar in weight to other handheld massage tools but affords you multiple grip points. The Thumb tip does feel like a thumb and the wedge tip is perfect for getting into the shoulder blades. I suggest starting on the low speed first and getting used to the high speed, but you will find that a short amount of time goes a long way in relief. The app is easy to use, but does not interact with the massager. It serves as a how to guide.

Great massaging gun, its very comfortable, handle allows to operate it from different positions, and to massage even hard to get spots, like on the back and/or neck. It comes with a very nice carrying case, very sturdy and compact. Comes with two batteries and a charger. Its designed for several types of massages, in example, helps muscles to get ready for a workout, or to recuperate them faster after a workout. It also works for pain, like knots. I mainly use it for my back/neck pain, I have two bulging discs on my neck that cause knots on my shoulder muscles. This gun gives me instant relief after a short massage, finally a massaging apparatus that really works! I also used it on my partner, she suffers from calf cramps at night, 30 seconds on each calf before going to bed and her cramps are gone! The science behind it, is that it improves blood flow in the muscles, thus oxygenating them better. Some of the PROS are: + Two long lasting batteries, so you never ran out of power. + Compact and sturdy carrying case, so you can take the gun with you anywhere. + Several attachments for different types of massages. + Excellent app that tells you which attachments to use for each type of issue, how much time to use it and how to. Some of the CONS: - Only two speeds, Id wish they had more steps on the speeds, some areas are very tender and I would like a little of more customization on that front. - A little heavy, so if you are older or fragile, you may need help from a friend/relative for some massages.

----- Summary ----- In the Box: - Travel case - Two external lithium-ion batteries - Lithium-ion battery charger - Attachment pouch - Six attachments - Owner’s manual Pros: - Quick and effective relief - Adjustable arm for hard-to-reach areas - Swappable external batteries - Variety of attachments to target specific areas - Convenient case for carrying and storage - Mobile app guide Cons: - Only two speed settings - Quieter than previous models but still loud ----- Review ----- Design: The premium look and feel of the Theragun G3PRO are immediately apparent. It has a sleek frame made of durable plastic, and the ergonomic handle is surrounded by a material that makes it easier to grip. The straightforward design makes the G3PRO easy to pick up and start using right out of the box. There are just a few buttons, one for power, one for switching speeds and one for the adjustable arm. Inserting and removing the battery is a simple sliding motion. With how excited I was to try out the G3PRO, I started using it even without the owner’s manual, so I would say the design certainly facilitates ease of use. A travel case with a dedicated compartment for the G3PRO and slots for the two batteries and the “World Travel Charger” is included, along with a pouch to hold the attachments, which are very nice additions to an already great product. Overall, the attention to detail and craftsmanship of the Theragun G3PRO and its accessories is impressive. Features & Performance: There are two speed settings controlled by a button above the power. One setting is 40 percussions per second and the other is 29 percussions per second, each delivering up to 60 lbs of force at a 16 mm stroke length. Whether I am trying to relieve muscle soreness or help prevent it in the first place, the G3PRO is quick and effective. It is like a foam roller and massager in one. I feel like I get the benefits of a targeted massage, like releasing knots, along with the benefits of a foam roller, like warming up or cooling down muscles prior to or post workout, respectively. To target hard-to-reach areas, the adjustable arm has four different angles. Whether I am sitting or standing, the adjustable arm allows me to accurately target just about every muscle group. Thanks to the adjustable arm, it is not difficult to target specific areas of pain or soreness. To further customize muscle treatment, the six attachments each have their purposes and benefits. The cone is pointed and best for small knots, the thumb is best for trigger points, the wedge is best for scraping shoulder blades, the standard ball is best for all-around use, the large ball is best for larger muscle groups, and the dampener is best for tender areas or near bones. Changing the attachments simply requires pulling one off and pushing another one on. The different attachments and the ability to change them out quickly allows for an effective full-body percussive massage in just minutes. There is even a Theragun mobile app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play that explains how to best use all the attachments. My final point is that the two included external batteries provide up to 75 minutes of battery life each. Having a backup battery is very convenient, and 75 minutes of battery life is impressive for a device that is delivering 60 lbs of force. The features and performance of the Theragun G3PRO definitely make it worthy of the “PRO” in the name. Verdict: The G3PRO is a phenomenal device built with impressive attention to detail and craftsmanship. Six attachments and an adjustable arm allow for a customized muscle treatment experience, and the two swappable 75 minute batteries help ensure that you never have to wait on a charge to reap the benefits of percussive therapy. The G3PRO is a professional device that everyone can benefit from, and I personally feel that it is worth every penny, especially if recovery and muscle therapy are highly important to you, or if frequent massages are a must. Treat yourself and get the Theragun G3PRO.

Theragun What a beautiful piece of technology and what an awesome idea! I might be late to the party but I’m glad to have discovered this device. I have been a gymnast and later in life picked up lifting weights and I have never heard of this kind of muscle relief. Opening up the package was beautiful, I encountered that the Theragun comes in its own mini suitcase. This might not be the first of its kind but it is an awesome tech-toy for health and fitness for relief after working out/pre-workout. Having two batteries, multiple attachments, an application dedicated to describing ways on how to use the device, carrying case for attachments, case for the Theragun, and more really makes it worth having. My other half and I did not work out this weekend but that doesn’t mean we didn’t take turns testing it out and really relaxing muscles we didn’t know were tense. Each attachment has its uses but our favorite is the thumb and largest attachments! The only downfall for me is that it is a little noisy but I was able to look past that after how much relief my quads, biceps, pectorals and even my hamstrings Finally, the most endearing part of this product was to open up the box and see a hand written note from the creator of Theragun. Glad to be supporting small business while maintaining great muscle health. Also it shows the art of handwritten notes are not a lost art!

I've been shopping for a percussion massager for awhile. I settled on the Theragun because I was able to buy it directly and also purchased an extended warranty through bestbuy. The unit works great and has several attachments. The triangular design allows different hand positions to target different muscle groups. I can almost do 95% of my body on my own. Having a second battery is definitely a plus, I don't pay attention to the charge capacity on the unit but as soon as it goes out I just pop in the backup. I gave it 4 stars just because of the price. I bought it while it was on sale shortly after Christmas so didn't hurt my wallet too much.

I love everything about this item except two things. One was the price, its hard to imagine that a piece of equipment can cost almost 600 dollars. Yes, I understand that there are two lower price points for this but its insane to spend that kind of money from the consumer stand point. Second is the noise that the machine makes, when I first bought it, I didnt really notice the noise. Then the pro hit the market and is silent compared to this one. Still a great powerful machine that works me out everytime.

The only downside to this massage gun is that it can be difficult to reach some areas of the back. If you have someone to help, then it’s a non-issue. Battery life is good, power of the vibrations and percussion is better than any other device I’ve used, and the device is versatile given the different head attachments.

I’ve had the theragunpro for 1.5 months now. Overall I am happy with the theragun! It is not a replacement for a massage but it certainly can help loosen a stiff neck or get some point of pain. My fiancé uses it primarily for some relaxation and tension release. While I use it to warm up my muscles before workouts and after! The benefit is not night and day but noticeable. While this model is very expensive. I have not brought myself to exchange it for the model down. The extra battery and heads make the price worth it. Not to mention the mode below is louder. Yes this thing is loud. After a month my cats are not waken from their slumber when I use it but I won’t use it past midnight for my neighbors sake. All and all, if you’ve got the money to spend and you want to invest in your health or well being. It’s a nice purchase. Cons: Loud Price 2-speeds I don’t find the adjustable angles useful Warning It will over heat if 2 people use it back to back. Shuts off for 10 mins to cool down.

Likes: Good power for those that like it hard and then a 1/2 power for those that like it not as hard. Nice to be able to move the head around. Good attachments. Dislike: It’s LOUD! It’s also heavy but that is good to assist with down pressure. Please ice too high! Look for a sale. Would recommend

Great amounts of power will get deep into spots you didn’t realize hurt. Only downsides are price and it’s pretty loud. Usually don’t have to use it for very long so noise isn’t a huge issue

I have been using the Theragun for months. It is still going strong. It gives you that deep tissue massage. Great tool if you workout, feel sore, need a little reset on the body. Overall, I recommend this product. The battery life is great. I can use it multiple times before needing a charge. However, I swap batteries while the other one is charging. The only issue is how loud this can get. It gets pretty loud so I don't suggest you use it at night time or at least next to someone that might be sensitive to loud noise. There are two speeds, so you are able to explore depending on your toleration and preference.

My hubby gave this to me for Christmas. Love the power and takes away all the knots that several masseuse could not do. Saved me tons of money not having to go and took care of a lot of aches. Just wish it wasn't so loud because I'm afraid it will wake up my toddler. Disappointed a new version came out a few months after receiving this but this product is so good that thinking about buying the new version anyway as a backup to use when my son is asleep.

I have chronic back pain and muscle spasms from degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis of the spine. I have bought many devices in the past for the muscle cramp / spasms, mostly heat and light to heavy vibratory devices. A heavy duty one from Brookstone did the trick for a while. I have been interested in this device but was put off by the price. I was in enough pain one day to give it a try. Wow! It relieves muscle pain and spasm in seconds, not 15-20 minutes of heat and other vibratory devices, literally seconds. Go light when you first use it it is pretty powerful.

Powerful and effective . This is by far the best investment I made for self care . It is really effective and very powerful . Pulsating effect is very relaxing and better than an actual massage . I use it after a workout to relax my sore muscles and it works very well . It comes with many attachment but I prefer the one in the picture .Battery Life is excellent . I can use it multiple times before the battery drains and its good it comes with a backup battery .
