Classic Wayne War Movie full of adventure great addition if your a John Wayne Fan.

I really like this move and was glad to buy it in blu Ray. It was a great transfer.

I would say that this John Wayne movie is one of the best war pictures. An excellent adaptation of the beginning of using the PT Boat as a vital part of naval warfare. Wayne and Robert Montgomery along with Donna Reed were superb in telling the story.

This is a great flick for a number of reasons. First it sheds some light on the PT Boats and what their crews went through in the Pacific. Forget that not all of the 'action' actually happened historically. Secondly, and for me most importantly, all the actors (and the director) with the exception of John Wayne, were veterans. And some were combat veterans. If you interested at all in the War in the Pacific, pick this up.

This is one of the Military's finest hours. It took bravery to perform battle in smaller ships that took a beating during the great Pacific slug fest. It took courage to manage a PT boat but those men had it.

Another really good John Wayne movie! This movie is about a little known aspect of the war in the Pacific...the PT Boats. You see some of Wayne's supporting cast, Ward Bond notably. It's worth a look!

HOW ACCURATE THIS WAS IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS THE STORY OF THE MEN THAT WERE LEFT BEHIND AND THAT IS ACCURATE. ALOT OF GOOD MEN DIED IN THAT CAMPAIGN.

A good not great movie, but it's fun to see the Duke in a different kind of role.

Nice movie to add to my husband's John Wayne collection.

There are better John Wayne WWII movies but this is still a good one. Decent transfer for teh blu ray.

INTERESTING STORYLINE, NOT TYPICAL WAR MOVIE. WILL WATCH IT AGAIN
