The Life360 Tile Mate is the latest incarnation of Tile's tracking devices and, unlike the competition, will natively work with both Android and Apple devices. The Mate is modeled off the original device and features a design that makes it easy to attach to a keyring, small carabiner, or simply slipped into a purse or pocket. (There are other form factors available that allow you to slip one in your wallet) The new unit has a slightly longer range, louder alarm and a new SOS feature that can act as a silent panic button. The Tile Mate is not rechargeable but it does feature a replaceable battery. The tracker is designed to be rugged and unobtrusive. In addition to being able to track your devices with both an audible tone and/or a map based app, the tracker can flip the script and allow you to page your phone! You can double press the button on the Mate and your phone will chime, even if it is in silent mode! My wife uses that function as often as the intended use! A few things to be aware of - the device depends on Bluetooth and thus the range is limited, however you can check the map for its last location. Also, there are features like Smart Alert and a 30 day History, that you'll have to buy a subscription to access, hence the four stars. Beware, once you experience the Tile Mate there is no going back! These things are life changing!

Life360 Tile Mate Always been kind of jealous of the Apple folks with their tracking tiles, and the Life360 solves the problem for Android users. Needs the app which is a quick download, and setup is pretty quick and easy by scanning the code on the device and linking up. Trying it out around the house the “alarm” noise is quite loud and easy to hear from a ways off. Best use I have at the moment is keeping track of the keys, which tend to be put down in various places and no more “where are the keys” problems – just hit the “find it” button on the app and listen for the loud beeps! I can see this being particularly useful during travel periods to be sure you are not far removed from your luggage. There is also a “reverse find” function if you have the tracker, but have misplaced your phone – just push the “find my phone” button and your phone will ring very loudly, even if you have your phone on “mute” – the app seems to override the mute on the phone. There is also a “panic” mode button on the tracker, which I guess could be useful but haven’t tried that out on mine. Keep in mind that your phone Bluetooth must be on to connect with the tracker, and the range seems to be greater than the normal short range for Bluetooth. Not sure how they do this, but definitely long enough range to keep track of items around the house. Happy Holidays from Central Georgia!

    End Frustration Now!

I lose things. I lose lots of things. I have needed these for my entire life. The tilemate is the perfect size tracking device for so many things that I lose. With its key ring attachment, the tilemate is perfect for your keys, but there are so many other great uses. You can just toss it in your car to help yourself find where you parked. It's great for purses. It can even be taped to a remote control, but. They actually make a smaller version that has an adhesive back then it can be used on a remote control. Anyway, how these work is basically you can either set up voice commands or just use the tile app to locate devices. You can also have the devices make a noise, to making it easier to find them. If you subscribe to tiles premium service, they will warranty your devices, and if they can't be found, they will replace them. The greatest thing about these is their ability to also find your phone. If I have my phone, I can use it to find any of my tile devices. However, if I have one of my tile devices in hand, I can just press the button twice, and my phone will start to ring. It is such a great system that is so convenient. My life is so much less frustrating now!

Since I already have a Tile by Life350 and have had the app for years, setting up my new Tile was really easy. I literally just press a button on the app that says add Tile, I press the button on the Tile itself, make sure my Bluetooth is on and that’s it. I was paired. I think these Tiles are perfect to put on keychains and also go great inside purses and backpacks and luggage. Not so much for a Wallet because it creates an extra bulk for my liking, but you can certainly do so if one so chooses. One extra feature is that if you lose your phone, you can just press and hold the button on the Tile for like two seconds and it’ll start making your phone Play a jingle, that’s making it much easier to locate. Life360 claims the battery on this Tile lasts 1095 days. I haven’t had mine that long, but that’s pretty impressive even if it doesn’t last that long. It has a 350ft Bluetooth range meaning you can’t be super far from the item you’re trying to locate. It’s water resistant and works with iPhones and Androids.

The Tile Mate with Life360 is a fantastic way to keep track of the important stuff in your life. Setting it up with the Tile app is a snap. Just download the app, press your Tile Mate, and go through the registration process. You’ll assign the item you want to track to your Tile Mate. With a 350-foot Bluetooth range, you can easily find whatever it is you’re keeping track of. Another cool thing about Tile Mate is that they have up to three years of battery life, so they’re basically maintenance-free. The downside is they don’t have replaceable batteries, so once your battery dies, your Tile Mate is done, which is a bummer but you need to know that going in. This Tile Mate has Life360 capabilities, which sets it apart from others. The integration is seamless, and it works in both the Life360 app and the Tile app. Plus, the Tile Mate works with both Apple iOS and Android OS, so no matter what operating system you use, you can take advantage of the Tile Mate and its features. In conclusion, if you want to keep track of the important stuff in your life, like keys, backpacks, etc., look no further than the Tile Mate.

We really like the tile by life 360. I currently have one on my gate opener that lives in my car. This way I can always track my car. This worked exceptionally well a couple weeks ago when I had my car in the shop. I could log on to the app at anytime and see where my car was. This gave me so much peace of mind to know that my car was exactly where they told me it would be. I also like that it is very small. And the tile is very very light weight. I honestly have not come across any negatives so far with the tile 360 in my time with it. I highly recommend the tile if you are looking for a product to use to keep track of your items. I'm looked at getting a couple more for other vehicles and animals? Not sure what yet? The black color looks very sleek and blends in very well with the interior of my car so you can't even tell it is there. I'd be interested to see what other things people attach these to? Dogs? Cats? Keys? Purse? Small Child? Bigger child? Man child? The possibilities are endless

This is an ok Bluetooth tracker. But even thru tile it looks like they have better options. One of the only things that this seems to be a good fit for is that it is small and great to put on keys. One future that I do like with this (but this future is also with their other devices as well), but I like that when paired with your phone, you can reverse look up your phone. If you can't find your keys, you can use your phone to locate your keys (as long as you are within range) and vice versa, if you can't find your phone but have your keys, you can double tap, and it will ping your phone. But those are dependent on being in range. Why 2 stars though for me. My biggest issue with this is that once the battery dies, you cannot replace or charge it. The app also does not seem to even show the battery life on this. The directions that are small that came with my device were for a different tile type. They have other models that you can at least replace the battery. I personally would love to just see one that has a rechargeable battery and a way to replace if that goes bad. Have a USB-C port to charge it. They also do not provide any accessories like a key ring. It works great, and how it is supposed to, but I think they took a step back by not having a way to replace the battery or not have a rechargeable battery. Had this had a way to charge or replace I would give it 4-5 stars. But it is great if you lose phone or keys. If you end up losing both though, you are out of luck then.

I use other trackers at the moment and decided to give Tile a try. I honestly, couldn't find what made Tile different, but after some use I did notice some differences. I found a longer delay with Tile and almost no history to see where the Tile may have been before, or some trail. I was told by Tile this is an option, extra feature, extra cost. I found that insane since it was a charge to do what other trackers already do by default. In one instant it showed my keys were in one location, but that was not accurate and maybe 1 hour delayed. I realize it is dependent on having a cellular phone nearby, but at least one was always nearby. I did like the find phone feature and that seemed to work well. I did not like that this was basically a disposable protect as the battery cannot be changed or charged. I do not know it it will really last 3 years, but only time will tell. I am not sure why a replaceable battery is not a standard. Anyhow, basically, this Tile worked, but not as well as other trackers. I also couldn't help but see it a constant source of revenue even after the purchase for Tile. Was not a fan of that ! So many products seem to have a upcharge for 'extras' even after you purchased the product. And also, find this extra seems to be missing or hidden. I had to contact Tile after I purchased the product to ask questions and learn about the 'extras'.

Opened the box, took out the small (about 1.5”) square and attached it to my keyring. Not sure exactly what it was supposed to do, looked for directions in and/or on the box. Then I realized, like most things these days, no directions included, go download the app. I went to the App Store (I have an Apple phone) and when searching for Tile there were two apps. Not sure which one to choose, I looked at the Box saw the company logo and decided that must be the app. Kind of. The “Life360: Find Friends & Family” works with the tile but is not actually the tile app. The one needed is “Tile – Find lost keys & phone”. The second app quickly recognized my tile and then I was in business. I attached the tile to my keys and pressed the button. Sure enough my phone emitted a nice little noise. Woo Hoo, I now have a way to find my wayward cell phone. I had to go to a different office so I left my keys in the usual office I use and the app told me the exact address of my keys. I generally know where my keys are, I always put them in the same spot, but I do find myself looking for my phone often. I’m ecstatic this little tile will cause the phone to sing so I can find it. The find friends and family app looks like it will be quite helpful for my family and friends to know where I am. I travel often between states. Typically, I text updates so they know where I am. I’m going to introduce them to this app. I checked the company’s website and there are a few versions of the tile. I plan to add the tile sticker. It’s going on the TV remote which I spend almost as much time looking for as I used to spend looking for my phone.

Tile by Life360 This handy little device can help you find lost or stolen stuff as well as send an SOS alert. I don’t know about you, but I’ve often misplaced my phone or keys and couldn’t find them when I was in a hurry and needed them. Tile by Life360 to the rescue! I’ve attached this handy little device to my set of keys and can now locate them easily, using the app that’s available for both Apple and Android devices. This device can also come in handy when you attach it to your luggage. You can then easily find your luggage at the airport from among all the other bags that look just like yours. It can also be used to help find your linked phone by ringing it. The app allows you to use the device to send a signal to turn on and ring the phone that you’ve linked to, simply by double pressing the device’s button. Great for when you can’t remember where you left your phone. The free plan that comes with the device shows the current location of the attached item, but if you want to pay for the premium service, it can show you a trail of the lost or stolen device. My only suggestion for improving the Tile would be to allow the device to send a louder signal. That would make it so much easier to help locate the attached device from further distances. Simple, but effective. Highly recommended.

My family and I moved about one month ago. Shortly after our move, I was looking everywhere for the keys to my 1972 Nova. I wasn't able to find them and was highly upset. After a few days of looking through boxes, and all around our home, I came up empty handed. Finally, during a quick cleanup of my truck, I popped open the glove compartment, and to my surprise, they were there the whole time!! So, it was time to do something to keep this from happening again. Luckily, I had just gotten the Tile Life360 in. I immediately put the Tile on my Nova key to prevent this from happening. Now, I am able to track the keys whenever they magically dissapear, and I can even sound off an alarm to help find the. Not just that, but if you lose your phone, double tap the Tile and it will set off an alarm on your phone to help you find it!! The Tile Life360 is the best of both worlds. The activation was extremely simple. You download the app, follow a few prompts, choose from the available plans, and you are good to go. I would highly recommend the Tile Life360 to anyone!!

Tile is a great addition to your digital life. I'm quite enjoying having it. It's location finding ability is amazing considering it's not connected to a satellite. Accuracy is good, depending on the Bluetooth signals and Tile users in the area. While not able to exactly pinpoint within 3 feet, the tests I've done so far have been reasonably close. Sent it off with a friend to their apartment complex and it was able to reliably locate to the building, but not their exact apartment. Got a dog that runs off? Put a tile on them. The app is wonderful and intuitive. You can silence the tile, or pick a ringtone. You can set your Tile for things like luggage, pets, Keys, etc. The notification sound in the Tile can be changed to your liking. Need to find your phone? Pressing the button on Tile sends a signal to your phone, causing it to sound off. And vice Versa. I've found my Tile a few times, and my phone twice. There are subscription fees associated with having Tile, but it's extremely inexpensive. You can also connect to the Life360 app.

    Easy to Use Tracking Device

The Tile by Life360 - Tile Mate Bluetooth Tracker is an easy to use, convenient tracking device. Following are my observations after setting it up and using it: - The Tile Mate is a very small device, it is only 1.47" x 1.47" x .25" and has one corner cut out with a loop that allows you to connect it to a key chain, pet collar, backpack, etc. - The battery life is approximately 3 years and is non-replaceable. - It was easy to set up. Just scan the QR code on the package to download the App and then follow directions in the App to connect the Tile to your phone via Bluetooth, then follow the steps in the App to set it up and select the options you want to use. - In addition to tracking whatever you connect the Tile to from your cell phone, you can also use the Tile device to activate a ringtone on your phone if it is lost, even if it is on vibrate. This is a nice feature, as I find it easy to misplace my phone in my house, seat cushions, etc. - If you lose the item attached to your Tile, you just click the Find button in the App and it will cause the Tile to ring so you can find it. Or, you can also look at the Location history to find the last location and the time it was there. It will register a location when it is within Bluetooth range of anyone with the Tile App. This is an anonymous network, so none of the users know when their Tile App has detected the Tile device, but the Tile device owner can see the location the Tile device was at when tracked by that App. The history will show you the location of the device for the past 30 days. - There is Unlimited Sharing, so you can share your Tile with another user who will then also be able to see it in the Tile App, ring it or find it on a map. This is very convenient if you connect the item to a dog collar or child's backpack, as you can share with your spouse or significant other and both be able to track the device. - You can change the ringtones, volume and name of what you are tracking with the device, in the App. - You can also transfer the device to someone else if you want them to control the device from their App. - You can also use your Smart Home device to connect to the Tile and make it easier to find your device while at home. This is a very convenient way to track anything you wish to connect the Tile Mate device to. I will use it on my key ring most of the time, but I also plan to use it in luggage when I travel, or in my bike bag when biking. I'm sure I will come up with many more uses for it in the future. I would recommend this to anyone who needs help keeping track of something.

    New Version Tile

I have had a few of older versions of the Tile trackers. This is a new version of it and this one wants you to use the Life360 platform to help get the maximum benefit of it. But what happens is an upsell of the Life360 subscription with not a lot of benefit to the free level. This Tile is a little better at the Bluetooth signal, but I still could not tell if it was left in a vehicle till I moved to a window about 25 feet from the vehicle before my phone running the Tile app could find it. It is small and attaches easily to a set of keys, purse, luggage or even a pet. The signal response you get either by pressing the button and using that to find your phone, or the reverse where you use the Tile app on the phone to find whatever you attached it to works pretty well and pretty quickly. The battery is replaceable like the older versions of Tile. It's a common one so no mystery there. I just didn't find this to be much of an improvement of the older models, especially without the advanced features provided with the Life360 upgrade.

These Tiles were the OG Bluetooth tracker and still work very well. Until the AirTags came out, this was pretty much what you wanted to have to connect to your keys, wallet, bags, etc. This being the latest generation of the Tiles, still works the same and is pretty useful. I have numerous AirTags however this is my first real Tile. I had a keychain with a Tile sensor built in but this is the first I'm using the actual Tile. To start, you'll need to download the Tile app for either Android/Apple Store and link up the Tile to whatever you're going to be using it with. Setup is quite simple and doesn't take up too much time. Like any other Bluetooth device, you can name it and other small admin things like change the icon of it and such. As far as accuracy, it's pretty spot on. It'll sense if it's nearby as well as show you where it was "seen" so you can backtrack in case you lose something. So how does it compare to an AirTag? Biggest gripe I had with this was the similar functionality you'd get with an AirTag can be had on a Tile....provided you sign up for their subscription. One of the bigger features that's paywalled is the "Smart Alerts" which let you know if you've left your item behind. You can also get 30 day tracking as well as a reimbursement insurance if you're unable to locate the item the Tile is tracking. The annual price of the subscription is $100. So these Tiles are, roughly, the same price as an AirTag but to use it like an AirTag, you have to pay an additional $100? This is one of those instances where a subscription is not needed as it prices it out of the competition. If you have/use multiple Tiles then maybe it might be worth it to get the subscription. But if you're like me and just have a few of these trackers, the annual subscription just doesn't make it worth it.
