With all that said, this game is a masterpiece of its class, outshining its predecessor in more ways than one. From insane graphics, improved AI to the all new immersive mode (which lets you choose how you play).
The gameplay this time around is made to be more of a solo experience, although a patch did bring back your squad of AI teammates should you choose, BUT I highly RECOMMEND going through your first play through SOLO, with immersive mode on and playing on Legendary difficulty, trust me it is super fun and immersive taking out a base all by your lonesome knowing the enemy can wipe you out quick if your careless but rewards you for patience and stealth.

I was lookout for another good shooter to break up the sameness from so much COD. This is great for what it is. Good storyline along with controls and action. Check out some newer YouTube videos with some reviewers revisiting this game. Even better in co-op.

I usually wait for Ubisioft games to drop in price before buying them. I refuse to pay full price for them, as they tend to go on sale very quickly. I did it for Fary Cry New Dawn and you better believe I did it for this game, but holy cow this game was from $60 to a Deal of the Day pricing of $15.99 and with my GCU I got it for $12.79.
This was a no brainer! I had to get this game for that price and I haven't seen it that low since.
This game is no where at all perfect but I paid more for games that are way worse then is (I'm looking at you ANTHEM!)
Overall if you can get this game at $0 or under, just get it!

Pro: If you like to play at your pace and use stealth, or just blast away, this is the game for you. Open world gives you lots of opportunity to explore and gather weapons and rewards. Has a good storyline and play and is very much like the previous Ghost Recon Wildlands game.
Con: Drone operation has no invert setting for controls so can be irritating to play if this is your preferred setting. Also if you want to play solo there are no AI team mates to assist you as there were in previous Wildlands.
If you liked Wildlands you will like this latest Ghost Recon Breakpoint game.

First off, know what you are getting from this game. It’s not for anyone wanting a fast pace shoot em up. This is a more team work/ co-op with friends strategy driven combat game. If you enjoyed wildlands or far cry 3-5 you will more then likely enjoy this game. If you did not. Save your money and look else where.
The game came out today. I put over 30 hours into the beta. And so far 8 hours continuing from where I left off on the full game. I can honestly say the multiplayer pvp was an after thought. This was made strictly for the pve co-op.
There are multiple levels of difficulty to play at. Do a favor for yourself. Play in advanced or harder. Playing on a easy or moderate mode gets old and AI are not the smartest.
Graphics are great on the Xbox one S. And controls work very well. Moving quickly around cover can sometimes be glitchy. But nothing that will ruin the fun of playing.
Guns have a gear level much like most open world games now. Good thing to note though. You can use a level 5 .338 sniper and headshot a 30+ opponent.
Gear levels are there for the grind. But are not required to play and enjoy the game.
THIS GAME IS NOT A PAY TO WIN like many young kids are saying it is.
Sure the game has some loading texture errors at first. A few small bugs. But Ubisoft is fully aware and is planning regular patches for it. The release game plays much better over the beta and had a 13 gb update plus the game install for full version.
Weapon attachments are a much needed thing. To improve weapon performance. “Damage” is not rally a thing. But weapon load times, accurately and other weapon perks really add to game experience making each gun feel a little different from the other.
I love the game. I loved all the far cry games and I really enjoyed wild lands. I did not like either division game just for comparison sake.
Pick up a copy! I’m sure you will love it.

Well as of writing this review the game is in a pretty bare bones state. Having played the previous game in the series solo I was expecting a similar set up with this game. I was wrong. No AI teammates. I will say the story is pretty ok and the environment is decent looking except for the numerous bugs. Ubisoft has formally announced the addition of AI teammates and numerous other fixes so like most other games may have to wait a year or two to get the masterpiece. If Ubisoft continues to support this game like rainbow six expect something great, if they don't I wouldn't bother with this disappointment.

This game is hard even on the easiest level. It’s hard to follow it has so much to do in this open world but I can’t lower the five star rating for that. If you like open world sniper action with a cool life like third person view then you’ll love this game. Wildlands had a really cool story and it was Go ahead and do this and secure a region and then move onto the next harder region. Where is this game everything’s open I personally got lost going north when I should’ve went South and I ended up in the area that was so hard I got frustrated with it but I can’t put it down when I am having fun and it’s my choice game if I had to choose to create a game this would be it

Great game, very playable. Have not experienced any issues with the game when it comes to bugs. The only downside is the fact you need to connect to the servers in order to play the game, even if you’re in story mode. For the amount of action packed scenarios and the price ranging between $10-30. Worth every penny. Enjoy the game while servers are still being upkept. Im guessing in a few years the servers will be deducated to other games. Until then, great buy!

Pretty good game once you figure out how everything works, which took me a good 10 hours playing time. At times it feels like a lot of work. At times it's very frustrating. Some bases can take hours to clear, and if someone kills you when you almost finish, you restart and have to clear it all over again. The story is good, haven't even gotten in to co-op play. Would recommend, but also feel like COD is going to be better than this. Though, glad I pre-ordered both. For some reason I hit a sale and the physical copy was $10 cheaper (49.99). Always go physical copy. I'll most likely re-sell on eBay in a month for $40 and turns out to be a solid $10 rental.

I put about 15-20hrs into the solo campaign missions so far and from what I have played, I like the game. The leveling up skill trees along with the weapon modifications that you earn feel like a fair balance. Enemy AI is decent at times, but not super consistent. The vehicle controls are much improved over Wildlands. The menus however can be a little tricky to figure out at first, as they seem to try to cram a lot of info on the screen at once, so sometimes figuring out what you should do or where you want to go was a challenge, but after playing it for a few hours, I was able to get the hang of it. Graphically, the game looks nice. I was expecting a little bigger difference over Wildlands, but I think that with the engine being used, UBISOFT has reached the limit of how much more than can squeeze out of this game visually. If you enjoyed Wildlands or like shooters that rely on more of a tactical approach, than you will enjoy this game. Just don't expect there to be any groundbreaking features or visuals improvements, because there isn't. The open ended gameplay is the main draw to this series. You really can choose to tackle whatever you want in any order you decide. It's a fun game, but might become a little repetitious to some. Buying it at the $49 price point was a decent deal, but I think this will end up being a Black Friday special, so it might be worth waiting the extra 6 weeks to see if you can pick it up for less. Hope this helps.

Right from the Start of being in the open world you can steal a car, motorcycle, helicopter, etc. It will come at a price if you decide to fight for it. Even on casual its pretty hard. They are crack shots and you need 5-6 or more bullets to produce a kill, so run up smash n grab is better. Graphics really are crisp and clean but lack depth (not everything takes damage or can be destroyed like Other games).

The game is by far the best Ghost Recon game Clancy has released. The game is co-op online; has vehicles, combat is incredible and realistic; flying is awesome and realistic too. The game involves a lot of planning, sub-plots, and conversations like a true RPG but is a first person/shoulder shooter. The weapons are awesome and customizable which was one of the most exciting combat features. The story line is cool, and very re-playable. I’d play and do play this game as often as Call of Duty, where COD lacks this game excells.

Best played with friends. Going around completing missions can be fun for a few hours but after a while it gets very repetitive. The game seems rushed as well. Lots of glitches and crashes at the most inconvenient times. Still worth the play if you pick it up at a decent price.

I kind of wish Ubisoft would go back to the older GR format... the open world is nice, but I miss the old type coop and the future soldier PVP was better than the current one. I still enjoy the new type of play, but miss the old one... You will have fun with this game, it is one of the best feeling shooters around

Really open world experience for the Ghost Recon franchise, the available Le options they give you to play this game are almost endless. It will definitely keep you occupied and will never play the same way for each particular mission and pretty much anything goes in the game play so it can be a fun play for a wide variety of gamers especially fans of the franchise.

A lot of refinements. A lot of new features. Some frustrations. It’s core gameplay is excellent. Story and environment are great. The new gear score system is a little wedged into the game. Time will tell. If you liked badlands it’s a must have.
