At first I was unsure about this game after what I heard some people say about the beta. I decided to take a gamble and buy it to see for myself because I was still curious about it. For me it's one of the best $60 I've spent. Having the choice to how you want to do a mission rather guns blazing or planning it going in stealth wise is awesome. The map is huge with all sorts for terrain ranging in snow, deserts, jungles to forest like among others. Graphics are great and sound is also. I've also spent time just off roading and flying around. It's got a good selection of weapons and attachments along with clothes and accessories. The online is fun when you've got the right people or friends. People have different opinions on things but at least for me this game was worth it. It's enjoyable.

Review: Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a beautiful open world game set in Bolivia. You and your small team of US ghost operatives are tasked with taking out El Sueno. You do this by assisting the rebels and taking down Buchons until you push him out into the open. The game is very repetitive in its mission structures so it can get boring pretty quickly. There are 21 provinces to explore in this large map with varying environments. The Santa Blanca Drug Cartel has taken over almost everything in Bolivia and are committing horrible crimes. The story is a little bland unless you dig deeper into the world by reading documents, listening to recordings, and exploring mission areas in each province to discover all the unspeakable things the Cartel are doing. You can do all this by yourself or with up to 3 friends in multiplayer. I definitely recommend playing with a group of good friends because it helps to keep the gameplay feel fresh. With continued updates they have improved the game a lot. Such as changing the flight controls for helicopters making them effective in combat now, although the driving could still be improved, and adding a Tier 1 mode. Overall I really enjoyed my time with Ghost Recon: Wildlands and I would recommend it to anyone who loves open world shooters. 4 out of 5 Stars

For this game is what rainbow six or specially the division should have been. There's a ton of things to do. The map is huge. The gameplay is good. You can go completely stealth or guns a blazing. It's not perfect. The A.I is not very good. Just put the difficulty up for a challenge. The game has dropped in price. I got this on sale plus the 20%. So you get a lot of game for the money. A definite buy.

I have recently just started playing the game so please bear that in mind when reading my rating and review.
The gameplay is similar to Far Cry 4 but with a different story line that has you as part of a team whose mission is to destroy a drug czar and his cartel.
The game can be played with any style like guns-a-blazing or a more stealthier method. Stealth tactics are recommended early in the game whenever possible because you will need upgraded weaponry for tougher enemies. It will take some time to get access to the better weapons so patience is required but will pay off with a better chance of success. The enemies can be very aggressive so it helps to try and thin them out before coming in for the cleanup.
There are a lot of missions and items to find which adds to the longevity of the game. Some reviewers complained about the gameplay getting repetitive but a lot of good games are like that. Also, the control of the cars and helicopter isn't too bad once you start using them more.
The drone is very easy to control and is great for locating and tagging enemies which your AI squad can take them out for you making things easier if you want.
I haven't played the game in multiplayer mode so I can't comment on that.
The game world is huge and beautiful to look at. The sound and graphics are excellent.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this game at first but it became nore enjoyable after learning which tactics works best. It is a Ghost Recon game so stealth plays a big part in successful missions. Patience is the name of the game.

In my opinion this is way better than any grand theft auto game hat i have played. The story is amazing dealing with the Bolivia drug cartel and you are a team of 4 navy seals trying to take down the whole operation. The operation is broken down into four segments, production, security, transportation, and i forgot that last one. But within each section there is a main boss (the head of that category) and underneath the boss are mini bosses (basically mini leaders that report to the main leader of the category). Taking down each faction or category slowly decapitates the main leader of the whole organization. The open map concept is so great and you character progresses throughout the game and your team does as well. You have the ability to customize your characters load out and upgrade you and your teams skill abilities. You also have the help of the locals in Bolivia wanting to take down the cartel as well. This game is a must!

Love this game! Open world and great graphics immerse you in the action. Good pacing and only slight repetition. Nice variety on weapons and vehicles. Some vehicle controls are clunky but it's easy to adjust. Highly recommend this one.

I've been a big fan of Ghost Recon games for a long time, so when this game was announced, I was skeptical of how they'd make it work in an open world environment, but they pulled it off. The map is HUGE, they've got a good variety of weapons, missions and you can tackle the various bosses at your leisure. It's a lot of fun as you can try a lot of different approaches to complete the missions. I can't speak to multiplayer in the game, but from what I've read, it's great to play with a group of friends.

I was a big fan of The Division until it ran dry with enjoyable content, which happened way too soon after launch. So, when I heard there was another Tom Clancy open-world game, I was skeptical. I purchased this after my cousins urged me to, and let me tell you, this game is beautiful and very, very fun! There is a ton to do - after 100 hours of gameplay, I'm still not 50% done - and the map is huge. The combat is easy to pick up, there are a good amount of skills, and plenty of weapons to go out and grab.
Where this game shines though is when playing with friends. Whether it's planning on how to take out a base or competing to see who's the better parachuter/motorcycle racer/long distance sniper, there are many memories to be had with friends in this game.
Pros:
-Good game to play with friends
-Lots of weapons, skills, and customization
-Large map and lots of missions; lots of gameplay to get 100% done
-Very diverse map (though you will see a few similar rock formations)
-Missions can be challenging, but are not impossible (I play on the second hardest difficulty)
Cons:
-Can get boring in solo play
-A few small tweaks can still be made, but overall it's a solid game

The action in Ghost Recon Wildlands is extremely fun. The gunplay is tight, and scouting out bases in the massive open world before quietly and neatly eliminating your targets is incredibly satisfying. The narrative-gameplay structure of dismantling the cartel region by region with each province's leader does a good job of keeping you moving through the game, but I feel as if the game will inevitably begin to feel repetitive with the AI squad. It's not that your simulated teammates are bad or ineffective. If anything, they're TOO effective and can lead to encounters feeling somewhat dry and rote. This makes the excellent multiplayer shine even more. Coordinating with a human squad and having to adjust on the fly to inevitable blunders keeps things interesting and lends a compelling sense of humanity and realism to the whole affair. While I would say "try before you buy" to anyone looking to play this game mostly solo, if you have a reliable group of gaming friends who are also interested, don't waste another second not playing Wildlands.

This is a great game. The AI for the single player is solid and the multiplayer is a lot of fun with friends. I spend a lot of time just getting into trouble with my friends and then actually progressing the main story in single player. It's not like the other multiplayer shooter games, it is a single player game first and a multiplayer game second, so there is a lot of story and history, if you're willing to listen.

If you've ever played Tom Clancy games, you know what's to be expected! This game is no different, bit still fun! A very open world, military game, reminds me of Far Cry 3 or 4. Lots of options fighting With South American drug lords, using trucks, helicopters, etc. The gameplay animations are great! Backgrounds looks real and well done. If you like open world, 3rd person shooters, this one is for you!

This game has a lot going for it. It is a massive open world to play in that is maybe even bigger then GTA 5's. Gunplay feels solid with a good transitions from 3rd person to ADS. And when you are playing with a group of friends the game is a ton of fun. But the issues with the game can't be ignored. The biggest one is they managed to screw up a basic 3rd person gaming feature. Your toon does NOT stick to cover and there is noway to stick to cover. In a shooting game where just a couple of bullets can take you down there is no excuse for that. And the AI teammates are horrendous. They will kill next to nothing (minus their godlike sync shot ability) until you die. Then they become John Rambo and can kill anything to be able to revive you. There are also a ton of bugs in the game: radio stops working, drone stops working, no target reticle on APC, etc. Those would, I assume, get fixed in a patch.

Bit repetitive but very entertaining. Control your 4-person squadron utilizing synced shots, stealthy entrances to cartel bases, and attacks while on a vehicle. You can drive cars easily, fly planes, and fly helicopters. The graphics are incredible and the story line is easy to follow and entertaining. Very well designed game. Would recommend.

Open world games appeal to some and not to others. This title has specific missions, so although you can roam freely, the missions keep you on track. The Tom Clancy games usually don't fully embrace the capability of a system, but the action is good and they're usually pretty realistic. I'd recommend this title to those that enjoy action adventure games.
