It's a good device, but complicated. The thing is is you have to put truck dimensions in for it to put you on accurate route.

Wasn't giving me free traffic updates and camera warnings when I first bought it. Had to call their offices for them to fix it.

I’ve had this GPS for about a month now and it’s really not for truckers. On 2 occasions it routed my down a “no truck traffic” street and twice I’ve put in hazmat and it tried to send me on “no hazmat” route. It’s nice that you can download the app and sync them and put the info in your phone and send it to the GPS (as long as it’s on) and update the maps on WiFi, but the crucial parts I need don’t really work!

I have Tomtom VIA 1535 and I was hoping this Trucker 620 would look the same or better, but the VIA looks better. In terms of functionality, the Trucker 620 is great GPS for truck drivers. It helps avoid routes that are not for trucks. So far it has been working as intended! I would recommend for now until I try its competitors!

I received my tom-tom 620 recently. It has worked very well on all my initial uses of it. For as in the past most of my GPS units have taken me on all interstate units this one also uses the back roads. The biggest advantage I found with this at this time is that it has built in GPS for upgrades. This is a very desirable feature.

It is not perfect, but pretty darn close. I love it. I 1st used it to make a road trip to Montreal. I use it all the time during football season traveling to schools. Only real issue is sometimes it doesn't connect to the real time traffic feature.

I was reluctant to buy this because of some of the negative comments, however, I did so anyway figuring I couls always return it if not satisfied. I made a good decision. I have really enjoyed this Tom Tom. Have always owned them and always had good luck. I have taken up RV full time and have been enjoying this 6 inch large screen and the ability to make everything larger still in settings. This feature great on a sunny day to be able to see the screen and everything on it. Packed with features, you shouldn't be disappointed.

It’s ok and it’s a helpful tool but it’s not the total trucking system we still need . It does help with tracking time and with a little common sense you can still get great help from this

My husband is a truck driver and hes working in Georgia right now. Hes says the most useful features are the bluetooth and the traffic. Being that there is so much traffic in the Atlanta area, the gps helps him find ways around the heavy traffic and also alerts him when heavy traffic is approaching . Hes satisfied and I'm satisfied that hes satisfied

Is a great gps good quality it’s help a lot is like your Mom is taking you by hand to the school.

Works great, great for my semi sometimes it takes me the long way but it never puts me on a small street or low overpass

This Trucker GPS has exactly what you need to get where your going. I found it very reliable in the toughest place to drive. I spend 4 nights out of 5 delivering to New York City and it has not failed me yet.

This is the Granddaddy of all TomToms Connects to my phone, saves my trips I can even make calls from it. It's good with that location thing too.

My wife gave to me as a birthday gift and it’s Excellent I have tried others but this product is the absolute best I have been driving for over 35 years I highly recommend

It’s a Great GPS, But I have it set to Truck, and it’s sending me down the Baltimore Washington Parkway, and no Trucks are allowed!

The whole purpose of getting this GPS was to make it easier to navigate NYC when making deliveries. Third time using it, I ended up getting a ticket for being off truck route. It also tries to send me down parkways which trucks are not allowed to drive on, and will not give me the option to choose an alternate route. I have a Garmin that allows me to detour by road and the TomTom doesn't allow me to do that. I have also programmed the same address into both GPS systems. The Garmin took me to the address and the TomTom took me half a mile down the road. I would return it for a full refund if I had kept the box. So much for going with a well-known brand when making my purchase. Now I'm out $300 for the GPS and most likely another $300+ to the City of Yonkers. This may also result in points on my license!
