This is my second Chromebook that I've owned so far and they seem to get better and better each time. Good battery life, keyboard, weight and perfect size. Screen is awesome and the best I've seen in person so far (main reason I got it). I would totally recommend to buy... it's almost like having a $350 dollar Macbook air.... almost.

This should be a 5 star review, easily. I bought this product as a holiday gift for my father, as he is completely computer illiterate. Getting it was a real pain in the butt, not sure if Toshiba didn't expect so much sales, or they didn't expect someone like me who was determined to get this specific machine. NO JOKE!!! From a distance, when you open up the monitor, it looks like a Mac. The Full 1080p HD screen makes such a difference. I find myself jealous, and whenever I get the chance, I use his, rather than my $800 HP Ultrabook. There must be a checklist online, of things you can and can't do w/ a Chromebook. But even w/ that, you can get caught up in the whole google ecosystem and I love how it works with all of my devices. The only reason why this isn't a 5-star is because the battery (which is outstanding for other Chromebooks) is very weak. I think that that is because of the Full HD Screen, so w/ that in mind, I"m changing it to a 5 star. This thing is so fast!!!

This laptop is great for the most basic uses. Browsing, streaming, social media, etc. you are covered. It starts up in mere seconds and there are no crazy updates or constant needs to download virus protection. Vivid screen and fairly good sound. I pair mine up to a good bluetooth speaker for an extra bump. Highly pleased with my purchase and highly recommend. My only negative is I would like a latch or rubber button to open it. You kinda have to use your fingernail. But that is a minor irritation.

This is currently the best chromebook you can buy for the price. I checked all the reviews and this is the one. I picked it out on my wish list and my wife went to the store, not knowing i wanted that one, and bought it for my birthday. Great speed, Fabulous screen, keyboard has just the right feel, speakers are very good. Highly recommend this product!!

I bought this laptop for my fiancée when she started school and she loves it. The battery lasts for 6 to 7 hours, it is simple to use, and it fits in the small school desks. I highly recommend it for any students. The screen is very clear and the speakers are amazing.

I liken it to a Macbook Air for 1/4 the price. Solid, stable, excellent screen resolution, boots in like 5 sec. I love that its simple, and non-Windows, so no viruses, no anti-virus to buy, no malware. Give yourself time to get used Chrome, and you won't miss Windows. I'm a Computer guy since the Commodore-64 days... and I love this Chromebook.

Pay a little more and get a much better chromebook by Toshiba. Really nice screen, good sound and 4GB of ram. Excellent battery life and snappy performance.

Bought this as a second computer for my two school-age kids, who otherwise share an iMac. Almost all of their schoolwork is on Google Apps anyway, so a Chromebook made sense. Compared to other Chromebooks (and the bargain Windows laptops I tried), this one has a decent keyboard (which immediately puts it above others in its class) and a really fantastic screen. Size, sharpness, color, viewing angles are all vastly better than anything else in its class or even a couple of classes above. Default images and text look uncomfortably small, of course. There's a preference buried in advanced settings that lets you apply device-wide zooming. My kids and I have found that 125% global zoom makes everything a comfortable size and (due to the screen's sharp resolution) much clearer than even my wife's Macbook. My son creates and edits videos in Adobe Creative apps, so he still needs the iMac, but my daughter prefers the Chromebook. No question at all in my mind that this is worth the slightly higher cost vs. entry-level Chromebooks. If you're sure that you can live 100% in the web browser and especially in Google Apps, it's hard to think of a better way to spend ~$300.

In my opinion, this is one of the two best Chromebooks right now. The other one is Acer C720 for its CPU, price and SSD upgradability. I bought this one for its awesome IPS 1080p screen. Overall, the experience is very smooth: fast boot time, quick web browsing, lightweight and long battery life, much better than any Windows laptop at this price range. Highly recommended!

I recently upgrades from an Acer 720 and have been very pleast. The IPS monitor looks great at all angles and the 1080 resolution was a must on this bigger device. THe 4gb of RAM allows me to run with more tabs open and stays peppier longer due to this. The keyboard and mouse pad are pretty typical for this segment. Overall, I am very please. The only thing negative about this Chromebook, like all Chrombooks, is that they all suffer form a cheap build process.

The Toshiba Chromebook 2 is definitely one of the best Chromebooks currently available. It looks and feels like a much more expensive computer. One of the first things you will notice when comparing it with other options, is its amazing HD screen. Because of its high resolution, things can look a little small, so I changed the resolution from the recommended 1920x1080 to 1536x824 and everything still looks super clear. Having an HDMI port is another plus. The processor could be faster, but it works well. Other things I like are that it's very light and totally quiet, because it doesn't have a fan. In summary, I think this Chromebook offers great value for its price.

I picked these up to use in conjunction with the WiFi at my workplace. The chromebook is easy to use and set up. It's weight and footprint are also good. Small, but not too light or flimsy, so multiple users treat it well.

This Chromebook was purchased to replace a Surface Pro 2 I had sold. The Surface Pro was too small and frankly over-powered for our needs. This machine fit our needs perfectly, its fast, has a beautiful screen, nice keyboard, and responsive track pad. If your needs do not exceed what can be accomplished within the confines of the Chrome Browser...this one is for you. Also its not gold, its silver.

This is my 2nd Chromebook and a solid upgrade from my Samsung. I bought this for my wife who uses it for email, web browsing and Facebook. The screen on this model is gorgeous compared to the Samsung. Also having 4 GB of ram makes this model a nice upgrade for having multiple tabs open. Best part is I don't have to perform maintenance on the wife's computer anymore. No more software upgrades or anti-virus issues. Highly recommend this Chromebook!

This Chromebook has an A-1 screen, a fast and responsive keyboard, exceptional battery life, powerful speakers, and a build quality that is surprisingly respectable for both the line of computers (Chromebooks aren't the flashiest machines) and the cost. If you know you want a Chromebook -- and the pros and cons of the OS are irrelevant to this review -- I highly recommend this model.
