I've been a macbook user for the past 4 or 5 years. I never thought I would get a PC, but finally decided to get a light weight and cheap one for college. I also wanted to be able to play games on it, because a lot of games are PC only. Even though this laptop is larger than I was expecting, it's much lighter than my other laptop. I'm super happy about that.
For the price, I wasn't expecting the visuals and audio to be all that great, but it's a 6gb versus my 2gb macbook, so I went with it. I am so impressed by this laptop.
It runs extremely quickly and although the visuals and audio aren't quite as sharp as my macbook, they are much better than expected. The screen is clear and shows the image very well, it's just the color is a bit fuller than my macbook. But for the price, this laptop is fantastic. I would definitely reccomend it.

I had high hopes for this. While you get all the neat accessories, the core product (laptop) is low end. I was assured it'd be a dream for my needs. (Needs being web browsing/college). I haven't had it for 2 weeks and it's freezing. WiFi is intermittent. It's not great. I'm actually writing this review on my smartphone because I'm unable to get the laptop to pull up for any prolonged amount of time. I can't even get it to login at this point. It could be this one device but I think the "too good to be true" rule applies here. Spend the extra couple bucks on a decent machine and your accessories separately. Life is stressful enough with full-time school and work plus managing a household...little glitches like this make it very aggravating.
