Customers regard the $10 Add-On Carryover Data Card favorably due to its cost-effectiveness and the non-expiring nature of the purchased data. Many appreciate the flexibility of supplementing a basic plan with additional data as needed, finding it a useful option for managing data usage and costs. The ability to carry over unused data to the next billing cycle is also a significant advantage for customers.

Good deal but lousy app

Total Wireless customers who don't require a lot of data can save money by subscribing to the cheaper Talk & Text only plan, and then buying 5 gb of add-on data separately as needed. The data you buy on the card does not expire. Unfortunately, this means you need to use the lousy Total Wireless app (My Account). This thing looks like an unfinished mockup made by a blind, first-time app builder, which the company decided was good enough to publish. It lets you scan the redemption code on the card with your camera but misreads it - not just one or two characters but every character in the string. The instructions it gives are confusing, with phrasing that reads like a bad translation. Worst of all, it's almost impossible to find your add-on data balance. You have to turn up your screen brightness until the black background looks dark gray. Then you can barely read the black text against the dark gray background (see photo).

Inexpensive Data on a the Best Network

I am not a big data user on a 4G network as most of my access is at home via cable. I just want occasional access for around town and then bigger chunks when on an occasional trip out of town. This card works great for controlling costs because the used data does not roll off at the end of the cycle.
I use the add on data with the Total Wireless $25 unlimited talk and text only plan. The two couple up just fine and the data remains after going into the next talk and text cycle. Just remember to input a new card for the talk and text before the old one expires. There may a grace period in the terms of service but I cannot remember.
All works well and 3GB of data for $10 is cheap compared to may prepaid plans wanting $20 for 1GB with a short expiration date.
The other big plus is it is on the Verizon network and all has worked well. Reports have said Verizon limits third party sellers on their network to 5 mbps but I did a speed test in my metro area and got 10mbps. Maybe they recently up'd the limit. All works well with my Total Wireless plan.

One of the great reasons I like total Wireless is that I only have to spend $25 a month for my phone service with text Unlimited if I want to add data I can either buy the $35 data plan with lots of data or I can add on for just $10 month good deal

A good option to purchase a $25.00 monthly card and use the $10.00 (5GB) if you require more.

Very convenient! You just grab it and pay it and use it, once you run out of your web usage.
