Needed a simple gigabit switch for my workshop to hook up into home network and didn't want to break the bank in doing so. This small, lightweight and very functional switch fit the bill. I get nice up/down speeds between my components, it's compact enough to tuck out of the way and has performed (over the last month) better than expected for the device that it is. If you want a simple, quick, efficient and reliable gigabit hookup for you small home network - can't go wrong with this unit I believe.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Low cost. Easy installation. I am running a gigabit network but needed to expand to my home theater (home theater is downstairs while router is upstairs). My media library is mostly comprised of hd movies so streaming via wifi was basically not working. Running the cable the ethernet cable was not an issue but wanted to get a good gigabit hub that would be mostly plug and play. This thing works great (plug it up, attach ethernet cable, restart router and attach devices). Video streaming is now seamless and console gaming has improved as well. For $20, this was probably the best decision I've made regarding my equipment. There's a number of more expensive devices on the market but at then end of the day, you simply want you device to function well.

Works great for streaming and gaming. Two games systems, TV and receiver connected with no speed loss.

I needed more ports, due to the fact that the ISP router only gives 4 ports to begin with, in order to ensure my home entertainment center was going to cut it. So not only was I able to broaden the amount of devices that needed network connectivity, but, we are now able to enjoy said devices and the entertainment associate with our home theater. Plug and play is ALWAYS nice! Glad this product gave me the flexibility needed.

Simple to set up and get working. With my internet provider, I have internet speeds up to 125 mbps, and I do not loose any speed running the connections though the router to all my devices.

Its small and stylish, doesn't take a lot of space and performs very well.

This switch is great. Works right out of the box, plug and play. No issues at all. Speeds seem to be maintained. Small and compact, easily hidden.

Plugged it in, ran cat5e cables and right away my blue ray updated firmware without a hitch Easy Peasy, small foot print easy to hide.

This switch works as expected. Just plug it in, plug in your network cables and you're all set. I bought this to hook up a linux machine that refused to work with my wireless usb adapter.

I was looking for a switch with a small footprint and easy to set up. Read many positive reviews, which were well deserved. The TP-Link worked out great for me to extend ethernet up into interior walls via putting it in the basement then connecting it to my upstairs router.

Love these small lightweight switch boxes. I have 6 of them with 5 in use and one as a spare. In the 3 months of use thus far no issues noted.
