I've been using this to extend wifi about 75 feet. This is plugged in about 60 feet away from my router and the signal then has to go through about another 30 feet of fiberglass wall and aluminum framing, wiring, plumbing, industrial machines and still had very usable speed. The key to these extenders is it to place it where you still have a good signal from your router and not where your getting a weak signal to try to boost it! To many people don't know the proper placement.

I wanted a way of getting better wifi coverage in my patio and for my Ring Devices. It does actually help. I'm able to keep my connection now at either 2.4 ghz or 5.0 ghz when in my backyard. As for speed, It's rated at 1300 mbps at 5ghz. My iphone will clock at pretty solid 500 mbps. If I switch to the extender, at the same exact spot , it only clocks at 150 tops. I mean, for Iphone and Ipad usage thats good enough, My main goal was to improve reception. I now get full wifi bars when connected to extender. Download the app to set it up, much easier and intuitive. Also, the three antennae are pretty cheaply made.

This range extender not only copies 2GHz wifi but also the 5 GHz Wifi which takes your wifi all over the house. Which is what happened in my case.

This is grabbing the WIFI signal sent from a TP-LINK EAP225-Outdoor Access Point that is mounted to my second floor soffit and wired direct via LAN line to the service provider router. The TP-Link - AC1750 Gigabit Wi-Fi Range Extender is mounted in my detached garage/mancave that now provides high speed internet up to 50-90 Mbps for any needs we may have. My son even setup his X-box any plays CoD with out problems.

Set up just took a few minutes. The range on this is great. It not only covers some dead zones in my house, it also reaches my back yard and my neighbors house. It's perfect for my needs.

Have a large ranch home with our provider supplied router that could not reach far bedrooms nor the patio. This had great reviews on line. I configured it with the Ethernet patch cable and it was quite simple to do. Then go and find a halfway point and try it in a wall socket. If the light stays blue you are good to go. Be sure to give this extender a name you can recognize.

This is a very good dual band range extender at a good price. Setting up is not difficult. My service provider's router was creating some lag since more devices were added to the network. After setting up a new SSID thru the extender, I moved some of the devices to the extender's SSID. All are responding well with very little to no lag. I wish the manufacturer would consider the ac pins be mounted on a base that can rotate.

I used to wait throughout movie playback as it buffered. Now, I can watch movies uninterrupted in my bedroom which is at the opposite end of the house from the router.

I have not had any major issues with this extended. There was one time that required me to reset the device because of poor connectivity, but I would have to day that it performs very well.

Setup a total no-brainer (disclaimer: I was a network engineer). Almost plug-and-play. Range extension is great within its specified range (RTFM folks--I'm using this between a router and a computer that are only 30' apart in a railroad apartment). It fixed my problem for cheap! ZOOM!

Seems to work ok. I was able to place it allowing to leave 1 outlet open, not sure why some reviews stated it was not possible, cause I honestly did not do anything but to plug. The signal at my master bedroom used to drop off from my laptop now and then and with this Range extender, I have not had that problem again so far.
