I had a extender for my WIFI. It didn't work very well. My husband herd Clark Howard talk about the mesh system.
We bought this set. AMAZING is all I can say. Plus you can add more of these it need be. We have coverage everywhere now. Great investment.

I replaced a single Netgear to improve coverage in my house and to my detached garage and shop. Our WiFi devices seamlessly migrate between the routers as they are supposed to and speeds seem pretty good. Signal is better at the fringes than the single router. The only problem I’ve had is that some older devices that need 2.4ghz get confused about where to connect when putting them on the network. I’ve had to turn off the remote pucks a couple of times to get connections to the main router.

This mesh system has been exactly what the doctor ordered to even out the signal across my 2000 sf house. I get 200 megs everywhere in the house and over 400 if I am anywhere near one of the discs. Hulu used to freeze constantly. Now, it’s a perfect stream. I also work from home and got spotty service from my web based phone system with the cable router. With the mesh, it’s strong and clear! Highly recommend!

Great product! Did a lot of research for what would be the best solution to get better wireless coverage for my house. Concerned I would go to cheap or spend unnecessarily. A network co-worker recommended the M5 he had used at a church and I took a look at it. Best Buy recommended the M9 as it newer technology. Turned out it is right on the money! My wireless network speeds are over 10X faster and I have coverage from my backyard to the sidewalk out front. If you want something simple and provide great coverage this is the product! Doesn't offer a ton of advanced control over your network but for managing a straight home network its perfect. Couldn't be more pleased with my choice.

The Deco M9 Plus is easy to install and operate. The range of WiFi coverage expanded to the whole house and our detached work shop 100 feet from the house. Great product.

This mesh system has really changed the WiFi coverage in my house (1800 sq. ft downstairs, 700 sq. ft upstairs, about 60'x30' footprint, 2 floors, wood frame with dry wall). No room is without coverage now, and streaming sticks have stopped complaining about available bandwidth. System lets you assign a static address to specific devices, like my 3D printer's WiFi unit, so software on the computer always knows how find it.
Control is via an app on your smart phone. There is a web interface, but it seems less functional than the phone app.

About a year ago I bought a two pack for my home. Works great!
This month I bought a two pack for my in-laws home and they're working great!
I also bought a 3 pack for the office as a second wifi network just for the laptop users. Connected the main one to an existing TP-Link Archer AC1750 and placed the two satellites in different offices. Everything is working great!
I really like the M9+ mesh system. Easy to install/setup with the app. Coverage is fantastic!

Powerful little tool. I purchased these for my daycare facility to kill the dead spots. Not only did it do that it also allowed me the ability to cover most of my property, allowing me to install more wireless accessories such as cameras. Thanks, TP. Got to get a set for my house.

Okay product. It's not what I expected in providing speed that my current Xfiniti router/modem. Xfiniti puts out about 900mega bits when directly connected to it's modem router. When connected directly to the Deco, I register 150 top speed.
It does cover (eliminates) the dead spots that I had in the house, which is the main reason that I bought it, but the speed is slow. I'm going to return it for a better mesh system.
Does what it's supposed to do for the price.

After two decades of using wireless routers, I had DLink then Linksys and now TP link. This TP Link D9 model has shown better and stable connectivity. Wife is my main “customer” at home where she manages several wireless devices and I have not received any complaints from her since installing TP Link. Happy wife, happy life!
