Bought this to replace the aging baby cam in the kid's room. First off, it was very easy to set up. Download the app, plug in the camera, and connect it to your home wifi. We wall-mounted ours so it would give us the same vantage as the previous camera. The wall mounting kit is included as well. Product Review- Functionality: I'm pleasantly surprised by how well this camera works and all the added functionality the app offers. Motion sensing, sound detection, and speedy app notifications just to name a few. You can assign multiple motion zones from one angle, so for a kids' room with two beds and two small toddlers, this was a godsend. We're notified if either gets out of bed, and I added the door as a third zone to notify us if they feel like doing a late-night raid on the pantry for snacks... Its powered by a long micro USB to USB A that plugs into a wall adapter. The cord was plenty long and comes with a velcro strap for cable management. Nice touch to hide behind a frame on the kids wall. Camera/Audio Quality: The camera is capable of recording 2K, by default it's set to "space saving" or 720p. Resolution can be changed easily within the Kasa app. The Night Vision (NV) is excellent. I know this because our kids' room is completely light free and I could see them VERY clearly. Upping the resolution reduced the grainy low-resolution pain points from the old cam. The audio quality is very good as well. We get notifications for "Sound Detected" and even "Baby Crying Detected". That's crazy to think the tech has the ability to distinguish between the two. It was a shock the first time we got the notification, but it turned out to be comforting to know we could help the kiddos thanks to this product. KASA App - I wanted to highlight how versatile this app is. If you decide to purchase this product, definitely familiarize yourself with it. Lots of camera customizations and notification settings to customize your experience. The app allows you to zoom in simply with your fingers instead of a tedious zoom button, like our previous nanny cam. Custom zones - This notable feature of the app allows you to set up custom areas to immediately pan to with one tap of the finger. I set mine up to see the kids' beds and their door. Before, we constantly had to pan back and forth, now I just tapped the preset view I want, and it was that easy. The app does limit you to 4 customizable presets though, which is not a big deal for us. - Other Features - onboard storage (MicroSD card sold separately) or cloud storage. Cloud storage will cost you (as expected) $2.99/mo for a single device. If you add another, it bumps in price. We're only using one, so I'm comfortable with that. I'm seriously considering another camera, though for our baby's room. Knowing how good this camera works, I'd be comfortable replacing the nanny cam with this. --Linking other KASA smart devices: You can control other KASA devices from the same app, so that's convenient in reducing app clutter (I guess). Overall Conclusions: To sum up things, I would definitely recommend this product to parents looking at replacing aging nanny cams and anyone else with surveillance needs. The video/audio quality is great. NV quality is something mentioned too. The KASA app isn't complicated and does a great job of notifying us. The added bonus of defining sound, motion, etc is definitely an added plus. The price was very reasonable too. I think I purchased mine on sale for around $34.99. Being a total tech member, it comes with a warranty automatically. Hope this review helps!

I’ve had many cameras, and this home security camera is the best. It keeps me up to date on ever movement in my home. It even catches movements I tend to over look or not see at all. I’m very thankful yo have such a reliable source to watch over my 3 German shepherds at home. Whether I’m there or away. Thank you tp-link!

I bought this cam to watch my dog and the inner side of my house, first I thought its just a regular middle quality cam, but when I turned it on and follow all the easy installation steps, and then started recording, I was so shocked, the camera resolution was more than best and more than enough to check on every details, then when I went into the sitting, I found more incredible features, like motion detection and how the camera follows every single motion, and it was really fun, plus the audio recording/speaking was so so good, also when I’m away I can easily rotate the 360 degrees and up/down remotely through the iPhone screen, highly recommended to have it for each person or family:) enjoy it in advance:):)!!

We use it to keep eyes on our new little puppy! I love that we can move the camera around remotely! And that its easy to set up!

I liked my Kasa Spot camera so well that I got this PanTilt Kasa for a different location. It adds the ability to remotely adjust the field I monitor, as well as the advertised features of this camera. Likely will buy the doorbell model soon.

It’s hard these days finding cameras that not only do local storage but allow you to view remotely without any subscriptions. I have a 128GB microSD card in mine and with the app, can view from anywhere for free. I only wish there was a 4K model to allow zooming in even more.

So far I’m impressed, I paid $48 with tax and free shipping. The 360 tilt is great with night vision. The picture is nice and clear.

This is perfect for checking on my dogs when I am not home. It has motion detectors and follows them around if needed as well!

Purchased 2 of these cameras during Christmas sales. Am very pleased with the directions and ease of setup. All of the camera's listed features work as advertized.

Sent this camera to Belize Central America. My wife brother set it up at construction site for out house in BZ and we are able watch track and talk to the workers all day. We can listen to what they are saying from the Chicago area. She is watching from home and I am watching while on the road trucking, but not while I’m driving. The only con is it doesn’t have night vision. We can barely see the dogs when they move in at night. We yelled at them but they just barked and relaxed lol. We really love this camera

I love these cameras, they are very versatile, the app is very easy to use. I liked it you can choose to record locally, or you can use the cloud-based service if you like. They work really well in my home since I am disabled and I have a lot of help coming in and out so they make a great deterrent. I also use the same app to control a lot of my smart home devices and the cameras fit into it seamlessly.

Four stars for the better video quality and the pan and tilt feature. But it is also because of how it pan and tilts that I can't give it a full five stars. You can definitely see more with The angles but it also makes for an awkward viewing because the horizon is not locked on, not sure if there's a camera that does correct that but I'd say that's a downfall for this camera. I probably just get one with a wider viewing angle versus having to deal with a small angle that you can just pan and tilt around.

I am happy that I purchased these units. Bought two of them and upgraded from some very old D-Link devices. Found the set up and quality of the units to be great for the price. They’ve integrated with my other home electronics nicely.
