It's got fast and easy set up, with decent directions in the app. The switch itself is very nice, with a nice little circle that lights up when off. Installation was easy, although the ground qnd neutral wires are coiled strands rather than solid. Perhaps this is for safety, but it did make it a little miss fragile during installation. The housing is also a little bulky, so not every wall plate will fit it. Other than that, the software is great, easy to hear, and links up to Google assistant easily. Definitely worth the price

The Kasa smart switches were easily installed and connected to the app with no issues. I was a little nervous due to a previous experience with some other smart switches. However, these switches are very responsive and easy to use. Installed 13 switches (dimmers, three-way, and single pole). All working great.

Wi-fi dimmers can be pricey. I had purchased what is considered the top dimmer in the past but I have to to say this TP-Link smart dimmer not only cost less but has more features. It is extremely easy to install and connect to your router and it stays connected. The Kasa app to control the dimmer is well thought out and simple to use, it can also be controlled by Alexa. Worked so good I went to Best Buy to pick another one up! This is a top notch dimmer and Best Buy has the best prices and customer service.

tp-link's Smart Light Switch has the ability to dim compatible bulbs. I look for LEDs that state they are dimmable and use them wherever I have dimmers. This cuts down on needing replacements and pretty much guarantees that the dimming is consistent. You will need a neutral wire in the switch box. So, if not present, be prepared to pull one from the light fixture electrical box. That's the only real concern. Most electricians pass the neutral (white) wire in through the switch box. Speaking of boxes, the switch's body is fairly big, deep and just fit my switch's electrical box. Expect a snug fit, so make sure yours is deep enough. Programming via free apps is easy. I have mine set to come on at sunset and off at a preset time in the evening. It is also easy tp have the switch turn on at any desired time and off, with different days of the week, schedule. The KASA app helps set up and control the switch.

Works perfectly well with all my other Kasa smart switches! I am able to control all the switches from my Alexa app so that I can shut off all my lights after I am already laying in bed. I love my smart switches!

Easy install. Works wonderfully. Three settings can be used directly from switch. (25%) increments. But total control with touch of a finger from app itself. I’ve used Kasa switches trough out our house. Easy to setup and connect to our wi fi. We use this switch to control our recessed lighting. Just remember, you must use bulbs that are dimmable.

The TP Ksa Smart WiFi switch is also a illuminated switch for night or dark areas. Please see photos below. The dimmer is a nice accessory for the Alexa system allowing the customer to turn on a light by the switch or through the Alexa dot system. Please see my other posted review for short installation instructions on Best Buys site. Whether you are installing a single switch or a dimmer the instructions are the same. The dimmer switches also have a row of lights at the top of the switch that indicate or show the brightness of the actual light in all seven settings. The light can be brightened or dimmed by the small plus or minus buttons at the top of the switch. Of course the light can be dimmed or brightened through the Alexa app by instructing Alexa to bright or dim the light. See photos below for switch in off position, switch in low brightness setting and then switch in high brightness setting showing seven small LED lights.

Good switch. I install them in every bedroom of the house. Now when I go to sleep, I don’t have to wake up to turn off the light. The app itself has a lot of function.

Perfect solution for not running wires down walls to wall switch. Installed in attic to control chandelier that is timed and on dimmer. And can be voice activated.

It works great. I can turn it on or off from the KASA app on my phone while I'm away from home or on vacation. I love the product.

You can program, calibrate the dimer, at lot of setting. Work perfect and is the more easy going installation of smart switch I performed.

It’s nice looking and easy to program. Someone difficult to install in older houses with shallow wall boxes. You will have to change your wall box or you can order a Shallow Wallbox Extender, which adds to the cost plus more s & h. I would suggest that Leviton include an inexpensive version of the extender with the summer.

This smart light dinner has nice features but If you leave it and forget about it for awhile, it will stop working. I've had to at least 3 times in the last 2 years go through the setup and reset process with this which is hooked up to my porch light. It's not a big deal but being a porch light I don't realize it's not working or on and who knows how long it's stopped turning on with the scheduled timer. I don't know if it's the device or the Kasa app.

We love the convince of schedule to turn on and off when we are not home. A must have

The only problem I had with this device was the incompatibility with certain bulbs. my wife wanted the clear rustic (Steam punk) style bulbs but they don't work! Other wise the functionality works fine!

Easy to install and connect to the Kasa App. Easily uses Alexa to control with voice commands as well. I’m sure it will work just as easily with Google Home or Apple Home but I haven’t tried. The only thing you need to know is this does require a neutral wire in the line. Not a problem for newer wiring but some older houses may have an issue.

Still working and it is easy to setup. No one else could match the price
