I looked over a lot of brands and models, somtines 8 times the price, this one had one of the best ratings and worked above my personal expectations, shipping was fine too!

Most of the time there is only one bar on the strength of the wi-fi which is suppose to be at least 3 bars. When using the location tether it sometimes indicates that the location is just right and at other times indicates that the location is too far. I have tried moving it several times but there doesn't seem to be an ideal location for it to work strong enough to span the 30ft between the gateway and the tv. As a result I have waited too long to return this extender due to the snow and trying to get it to work right. The 15 day maximum return time is too short for me but I will have to keep it now that I waited too long to return it.

This was the perfect range extender to boost my internet to reach just beyond the house to my screened in porch! It was incredibly easy to set up and it's worked flawlessly. The price was perfect!

Looking for something to extend the range of my Xfinity cable modem to my office and this did the trick. Tried one from Netgear that was a little more money but didn't work as well. Read good reviews about this one and was on sale for $20 and worked better. I'm happy with this product from TP-Link.

My router is in the back of the house. The signal was weak in the living room. Sometimes it dropped in the front yard. Now that I've added a range extender, the signal comes in strong and the dropping problem stopped. The TP-LINK TL-WA850RE isn't hard to set up. It really made a difference on my network.

The other Netgear extender at twice the price ($40) just didn't work at all...even after calls to Comcast and router companies. I tried this bargain one thinking it probably was a lost cause....and then it worked with just simple instructions and no manufacturing calls. Some weeks later, it still brings in all my Netflix and other material on my Smart Samsung TV. Not a hitch....just enjoying the movies and Youtube favorites. Buy it without fear....for just twenty bucks.

I loved TP-Link products before buying this; love them even more after. Does everything it's supposed to, a breeze to set up, and all for a really attractive price. Best value around. Please note: you can use multiples of these for the same network...I'm covering 15 acres with them!

it works! and it is cheap! this is a great product. i really makes a difference to have a range extender at home. this in particular looks good and the best of all, it easy extremely easy to set up. like 1, 2, 3.

Works amazing to extend my WiFi range and was a great price.

I had no problem setting this extender up for our wireless IP cameras using our neighbor's 2008 Linksys router, took about 5 minutes max. That router is about 30 feet away and the signal passes through 2 stucco and 2 regular walls. Extender is in an upstairs bedroom and I get a usable signal on my Android tablet on our patio at a distance of about 45 feet. Not sure why another reviewer had problems connecting to a Linksys, with our setup we just kept the same SSID and password for the repeater as the router and it works fine. I guess by now everyone knows that a repeater cuts your throughput in half, but our neighbor has a 20Mbit down and up plan, 10Mbits is plenty fast enough for anything we need. The only negative I can think of is the single port, I needed to buy a network switch to allow us to use our Ooma internet phone and a wired desktop computer. System has been working without a hitch for almost a month.

The main reason I bought this was due to having a two story home, where the modem is downstairs in the far corner of the house, which happens to be further away from my bedroom upstairs. So, if I want to use my tablet or phone when going to bed, I usually can't get a signal. I am able to get a signal a little more often now, but my phone sometimes weirdly just won't have internet even though it says it's connected. So, that's been a very unwelcome side effect and one I hope the At&t people can help me rectify. Overall, it does seem to extend the signal, but just barely.

This extender was extremely easy to setup. It works better than anticipated especially for the price. Best Buy shipped the product super fast. I received it 3 days after placing my order.

We needed to work from home but they said we had to have our computer plugged into a modem to use the Computer as a phone and safely secure our vpn. I found this and the rest of my office too and we all have been loving it. You just plug it in near your Comcast router or whatever router your entire house uses, then after it lights up all the way around in a circle, move it to whatever room you want you desk at and plug your computer into the extender with a Ethernet coord. Ten starts and god priced

This is a good product considering the price invested. If fixed my punctual blind spot issue. Easy to install.

The TP-LInk Wireless extender is easy to install and does its job of extending your primary network. A circle of lights indicates the strength of your signal. Can you rename the extender so you know your connected to it.

This product is very easy to set up and the instructions are very consumer-friendly. When you are done with the instructions and plug the extender into an outlet it works perfect. This would be excellent addition if you want good reception in other rooms of your house. And the price was just right.

The the device works well. You have to keep near your router so that the extender will also have good strength. Only problem that I face was sometimes it gets disconnected. At that time you have to restart the extender. But for that price I am happy with the device.

This extender is easy to set up and has an Ethernet port for wired connection. Quality is good. The drawback is it only supports 2.5 GHz, which has limited speed.

I had this hooked up in less than a minute and boosted my wi fi in our bedrooms. You can't beat the sale price along with free shipping. I'm not the most savvy tech person, and this product delivers!
