Replaced my g router with this n router. Easy to set up. Has an entended range and fast speed.

This is a great router for someone who only needs the Wireless N and 2.4 GHz technology and not the current AC. It does the job just fine in getting you connected to internet and lets you stream without issues. I was up and running in no time. If you need the current AC and 5 GHz technology then go for one of the other routers TP-LINK makes. Again this review is only based on the 2.4 GHz and wireless N aspect as that is all it uses. The router does what it needs to do and works great for someone who has a small network and not an extreme amount of devices connected. This is a review of a free product received from TP-LINK as part of the review program. I was really impressed with how great the TP-Link TL-WR941ND preformed. It was easily able to provide great speed and coverage to multiple devices on my home network. The Wireless speed is up to 450Mbps on the 2.4Ghz band which easily ran a couple devices streaming Netflix, a gaming PC, multiple smart phones, and a tablet with no interruption. The TL-WR941ND is so much better than the router we received from our ISP. We were constantly having slow upload and download speeds, internet drops, and was unable to do any gaming online if we were streaming movies with our old router. Installation was straight forward and quick using the Easy setup assistant. I was back up and running in no time. I used the WPS button to get some of my devices connected quick. The devices that did not have WPS I just typed in the password manually. I like the look and size of the TL-WR941ND. It is small and compact and has 3 removable external antennas. I love that it is black in color cause it matches a lot of my other electronic devices in my home. Overall I am really happy with the TP-Link TL-WR941ND and until I am ready to make the jump to a dual band router than this will work just fine. I will be recommending this to my family and friends.

This is a review of a free product received from TP-LINK as part of the review program. Honestly when I first received theTLWR941ND I didn't have high hopes. To my surprise, this little guy is a hard working, solid performer. Now I will say this, if you are in detached multiroom home, this may not be the router for you. Only because it's not intended to cover large areas. With that said, if you are in a dorm, apartment or even a 1 to 2 bedroom home, this will work just fine. You can stream music, videos & game with ease, thanks to the 802.11n connectivity. You'll also be able to sit on your couch or lounge in bed with your favorite mobile device. This really is a great solution at an affordable price, for those that just need to be online & untethered.

I stay in an apartment where i get 109 wifi signals, i wanted a good router with good signal strength, that is when i decided to purchase this router with 3 Antennas assuming i would get good signal, signal strength is not good, i used netspot.com app to check the signal strength, i work while sitting next to the router, signal drops while your are streaming video and you are left disconnected, you need to switch wifi off and on to get connected again, i used many ping test, delay and packet loss are huge when connected to wifi than connected wired, if you are looking for a stable wifi connection please stay away from this router. i am definitely returning this router and will never look back at TP link.
