I was pretty excited until after I made the purchase and read the reviews that it wasn't 100% that I'll be getting Optimus. Yes it is my fault on my part to not take the time to read into it more but its still deceiving when you only see Optimus pics and not Astrotrain. Of course you will feel excited to jump on it right away since its sold out everywhere or if you can still get it for retail. Anyways I was one of the lucky ones when I recieved my package today to find out I got what I wanted which is Optimus. So if you're ok with ending up with either one then shop away. But I wouldn't have bought it from this site if I found out before hand.

This is by far one of the best Optimis Prime figures they have produced. It’s the closest you will get to a masterpiece edition for a much lower cost.

Box was damaged/torn with a slight hole in it when I received it. Otherwise... I wanted this figure for the collection. So I would recommend it.

I ordered this thinking it would be Optimus Prime Earthrise, even it said "Styles may very" I was going to take a gamble. These Best Buy m*r*ns in the warehouse sent me a Star Wars Black Series figure...NOT EVEN A TRANSFORMER! Are you kidding me?! AND it was a $20 dollar figure that I paid $50 for...cause MATH!

I gotta be honest I never thought I'd find this or any figure from this line in a Bestbuy! What an awesome find it's like the best Optimus Prime figure out based on the price, paint application and articulation. Not to mention the over all proportions and transformation scheme! Let's just say that I'd be visiting Bestbuys way more often if I knew I'd find stuff like this there!

Transformers: Earthrise is just starting to filter out to stores as of this review, and the Leader class is exceptionally difficult to track down in my area. I was very happy to see it listed on BestBuy.com. Seeing the listing, I ordered just based on the picture, as it was Optimus Prime I was after. It wasn't until after ordering I saw the listing was for the wave itself, not a specific figure, and that I would be shipped a random figure from that wave. Fortunately, Wave 1 Leader Class only has two figures, Optimus and Astrotrain, neither of which I had. And it was Optimus I received, so I guess I lucked out there, but I would have been fine with either. The package arrived in one day, and in excellent condition. I'm not sure I'll order action figures like this again, however. I can see how it is easier to simply sell a random figure from the box, so that excess inventory isn't left sitting around, but if you're trying to sell to collectors, we're looking for specific figures. They should be listed and sold that way.

If you dont want an Astrotrain dont order here. Nowhere in the pics or description does Astrotrain come up. They are all of Optimus. I will not be buying anything from this place again.

Normally I go to the stores and buy the items myself. Since we're under lockdown. I placed my order online, but i didn't see the disclaimer that "styles may vary." I went after work to pick it up and it was Astrotrain. I already have the Siege Astrotrain which is the same figure but different box. The "2 in stock" were both Astrotrain. Had to call other stores and finally found one in stock. What a pain in the butt. Optimus is 5*, but Best Buy's inventory sku selection is not.

This is the best one yet! Comes with the trailer and reeks of G1...just how I like it. If you are looking for the most modern and nostalgic Prime, this is the one!

So glad Bestbuy got into the game of toy collection !! This Optimus Prime is absolutely amazing. I had the original one growing up & this one lives up to it with great details. There are many different versions out there but this is how the original cartoon Optimus Prime was. For a true fan this is how it all started, If you can find him definitely get him.

Note that Best Buy doesn't break each figure from the wave into their own listing, so you may get Optimus, and you may get Astro Train. Both of these figures are fun and come with some good accessories. Transformations are good and not too difficult. The only downside is the figures are small for the price. That's unfortunately on the manufacturer. I would very much recommend these to Transformer fans if they can get them on sale.

A little pricey and more complicated but still a great toys for kids

At full price, this is a definite item to avoid. But at the clearance price, it's a decent gamble. The Earthrise leader classes can either be Optimus, Doubledealer, or Astrotrain. And any one of these is a decent toy with Doubledealer being the worst. I ordered 1 and got Optimus. I ordered 2 more, lets see what Best Buy give me.

I wanted Optimus Prime but they only had Astrotrain. The toy itself is a great improvement over the toys when I was a kid. It's a lot more complicated, be sure your child is old enough to be gentle enough to make the changes without snapping off pieces. Great for reliving your childhood.

Seriously, if you were on the fence about whether or not to pick this version of Optimus up, rest assured that it is one of the best versions ever of the character with a dynamic trailer to boot! Buy this one before he is gone forever!

Do not get it from Best Buy all the pictures show Optimus Prime I ended up with a straw train I even tried to cancel my order an hour after making it and they told me the order was already processed I couldn't cancel it now all the stores are closed and I can't return it I don't have a printer at home I can't print a shipping label I have to go in store to return it and all the stores are closed overall terrible experience they need to stick to electronics it should say and bold letters you may not get Optimus Prime you will probably end up with Astro train

The leader of the Autobots in perfected in plastic form with Earthrise Optimus Prime. Also released in the Kingdom subline, Optimus is essentially a mini-Masterpiece in terms of the premium Transformers line and objectively a masterpiece. The poseability and maneuverability of this figure is outstanding, begging to be photographed amongst his Autobot brethren as they do battle against the Decepticons. Hasbro and the Transformers team truly dedicated themselves to a top-tier execution of this property, and once you have Optimus in hand, it's nearly impossible to resist grabbing a few more Transformers to go along with it. Sheer excellence, period. Autobots, roll out!!

This is great for anyone who wanted the classic G1 Optimus. He even has a matrix of leadership and his trailer. Great detail and fairly easy to transform. Very happy with my purchase.

I've never had the complete G1 Optimus Prime, only the cab part from a friend but this is just as good. Slightly smaller, little more detailed.
