Responding to ProdigyX: If your the Prodigy from that gamer show with xbox then its really sad to see you rate this such a low game. Otherwise if your not, your a bad gamer if your finger keeps slipping off. I had this game from when it was released. The game itself was good, and the multiplayer was and still is fun. Pros: *Entertaining *Good graphics, could be a little better to make it more robotic-like. *Multi-player, this is the best thing about this game. Going head-on with other robots. Except for the laggers which makes it a pain to try and kill them. *Challenging at first, but after you get the controls down its good. Con: *It was rather quick for a game, I wish it had side-quests. *I wish it could have allowed customization of weapons, like where Iornhide or whomever can design a weapon for you instead of just upgrading it to do more damage. *Laggers in multiplayer XD

The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Video game is cool, fun, and the transformers are awesome-looking!! There have been complaints about the game controls being terrible and hard to use, but when you get the hang of it, it's very fun, and they are not to hard to get the hang of in my opinion. The graphics are great as well, and the online gmaeplay is very fun because there is nothing but destruction and chaos. Playing the regular story mode is fun too.

Worth renting at first, buying if you like it.

This was a very good game. I had a lot of fun with it and enjoyed playing it a lot. While one person left a review with a severe dislike of the controls, I found them to be VERY helpful. The previous game only took one press....one mistake....to send you from bot to vehicle at a bad time. At least with holding R2, you have more control over which form you are in. But at the same time, it does make it hard to "throttle down" when you really don't want to carry the breakneck speed and lay off the brakes. The only other complaint I have is the way some characters were somewhat unusable. Ironhide having only a grenade launcher and practically a shotgun makes his range very hard to use, and his speed makes him hard to get in close and fight with for short range. There are other examples. The gameplay was fun, but short. I found it to be very engaging, I have not seen the movie, and to me, I haven't been given anything of it, which is good in a movie based game (personal opinion). It was a very good game, and I would easily recommend it to a friend that would love nothing more than to romp around as his favorite Transformer.

    Grew up on Transformers

Having grown up loving Transformers Beast Wars, and all the others, I was pumped for the movies and games when they came out. This game does the movie fair justice, although it is fairly short in length and the game play is par. Being a big Transformers fan I do have to say I enjoy taking control and putting myself into the story.

What were they thinking with the controls

The game looked like it could have been a lot of fun, with the new multiplayer and the new things they threw in the game. But they completely destroyed it with one simple mistake, the controls. For the play station version you have to hold down the R2 button to transform and keep it held the entire time once you let go you go back to a bot. now here are some problems with that you get hand cramps, it is hard sometimes to try to fire when you have to hold down 4 buttons at once because you have to keep down on R2 the brake the aim and the firing button. They should have made it so you can toggle in and out, like the first one with the triangle button. Waste your money if you want but you will see it is about an hour of fun till you just get tired of the fact that you transform every time your finger slips off of the R2 button. BTW there is NO change in the control configuration.
