You have to sign up on their website to see their prices and they are 50% more expensive than booking direct through the airline. A $1000 flight costs $1500 on TripGift. It doesn’t matter which flight you search for, they are ALL 50% MORE EXPENSIVE using the gift card. I received this gift card as a present and it would be cheaper to throw it away and buy tickets direct from the airline than to use the gift card and pay the difference. Plus, booking direct with the airline protects you against delays, flight changes, etc. WHY WOULD ANYONE USE THIS?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Accidentally bought this thinking it was a Hotels.com giftcard. Can't refund giftcards and this website has ridiculously inflated prices, making this giftcard almost worthless.

Accidentally bought this from Bestbuy.com thinking it was Hotels.com gift card when it showed up in he search results, now stuck with it, and the Trip Gifts customer service gave the false impression that it was the the same company gift card as Hotels.com, and guided me to their poor site to register and the card was still totally useless.
