I've used TurboTax to do my taxes for more than 20 years. It's simple to use for anyone and the Deluxe is good for probably most people unless you have a lot of complicated financial holdings. It easily walks you through every question in simple terms and enters what needs to be entered. I'm never disappointed in this product.

I have used H&R Block’s Taxcut and TurboTax over the years and in my experience Taxcut was much more user friendly. The greatest benefit of using these products is the certain and quick transmission of federal and state returns to the tax authorities and then a speedier refund. The downside are the fees. TurboTax deluxe gives you one free state program but then charges you $19.95 for each electronic submission. Then you have to pay an additional $39.95 for every additional state you need. I prepare my returns and my adult children who live out-of-state and by the time I pay for the TurboTax Deluxe program plus the other states and filing fees I end up paying $200-$300 for this product. In addition, they tried to add a local tax preparation product to this and nobody I know can get an accurate result for the local returns. That aspect of the software is a complete waste. Just file directly on local tax agency sites - quicker, simpler, and more reliable. For federal and state it works well.

For many taxpayers this product is amazing -- over the years I have used different versions based upon our current tax situation. Now that I'm retired and have reduced down to just one residence I can now use the less expensive versions that include the State tax as well. We use the electronic options for filing both State and Federal and it can return any refunds right into our checking account. I also like the feature that imports the completed tax form information into TurboTax directly from the Financial institutions web site. I used to spend days doing my taxes by hand and ended up making silly mistakes that were difficult to discover and fix -- now I can complete the process in several hours -- strongly recommend!

Easy to use and got me a decent refund back compared to other tax products. My only compliant is they keep charging you more and more money to use services which is starting to make it seem like a better choice to just use the free one online. You have to pay for support for your product and to do every little thing. It gets the job done however....

Very simple to use. This was my first experience filing my taxes without my CPA. Program walks you through each step and reviews for accuracy. It was easier than I thought, way faster, and cheaper!

This program is very reliable and I am able to do my taxes for myself and three others in my family for a lot cheaper than if I were to take our taxes to an accountant. Turbotax is very easy to use.

Have been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years and always very satisfied. Takes you step by step through the filing process and I always feel confident my taxes have been filed correctly.

Although I love the online version of turbo tax. This version saved me a significant amount of money as you do not have to pay for each submission like you do online.

For several years I was doing my own tax returns the old fashion way (long hand) until Turbotax came along. I was skeptical at first but now I totally rely on the turbotax program in doing my taxes each year. There were two consecutive years when I went to the Senior Citizens Center and had my taxes done for free. Once I returned home, I decided to prepare my taxes with the turbotax program and the results were the same for both consecutive years. I highly recommend Turbotax Deluxe with free State download. You can download the software on five different computers.

At least 2 decades of no complaint, ease of use, Federal and State tax assistance. Simple examples, built in help, etc. plus constant support of frequent updates.

Once again a simple install. Automatic updates gets everything to the latest level. Easy to use and way cheaper than a Tax Guy.

I have used TurboTax for more than 20 years. When I was much younger the Basic version was sufficient however, the Deluxe version is now more suited for my needs because it permits me to take deductions that are not covered under the Basic version. I am more than satisfied with its ease of use to prepare and file both my Federal and State returns. The fact that I have used Turbo Tax each tax season for more than 20 plus years is my strong personal testimony of how much I love it.

I have used TurboTax for 3 years now. It is very easy to use. Just follow the questions and they will walk you through your return one step at a time. Before you send it, they tell you what your chances of getting an audit are. You can e-file your federal tax for free. You pay a fee to e-file your state tax. Of course you can print them out and send them in the mail if you want. The first year you have to enter all your information, after that it will automatically be put in for you when you use it again. You just have to adjust the amounts of what you made this year compared to the prior year.
