When it was working well, the sound was great. However, the cord to the amp connection has already been compromised (similar to the way apple charging cords become easily damaged/worn just below the lightning connector), and it has only been about 40 days since purchase (just outside the return window).

I needed a headset for times when my son wants to play while I'm working and when I sneak on the Xbox at night. I was going to buy a cheaper version but was talked into this one and am happy that I was. The powered control unit lasts longer than any of our gaming sessions and it makes a difference in hearing the small cues that make a difference in your gaming experience.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He had a pair before that recently broke. This was on sale for about $60-70 on Black Friday. He says he likes them better than the last and that the sound is exceptional. He also doesn't like to hear himself while talking to his friends. This head set does not play your voice where you can hear it. Only his friends can hear him.

Great head set its comfortable good sound would recommend this head set

This is my 3rd Turtle Beach headset. I only got 2 years of use out of the others before they quit working. I was very careful with how I handled them also. The only issue that I have so far with these is it's difficult to balance the chat volume and the game volume.

Bought them for my boyfriend, and he loves it. The sounds is very enhanced and the super human hearing is great for gameplay. The only downfall is that it was a little confusing at first to get figured out. But once you figure it out the first time you're set!
