I became a fan of Turtle Beach headsets with my last pair. If you buy cheap, then they don’t last. My last pair of wireless TB headphones lasted 11 years. So far I’ve had these headphones about 4-5 months. I’ve only tried them on the ps4, not the xbox, laptop or phone yet. - I’m so happy they finally released a new headset that can be used on Xbox and ps4 (multi platform)! I like to invest in quality headsets, but I’m not going to, or able to, pay that money for multiple headphones. - they’re well made, have great sound, I can hear chat well and my voice comes through clear for my party. - I like not having any wires… not even a talkback cable. Wonderful! - The foam ear cushions are comfy and they block a lot of noise. Also the ability to make adjustments to the ear cushions to increase comfort for eyeglass wearers is nice. Although, trying to pull the ear cushions off to make adjustments took quite a tug. - if you don’t have a pc to update the firmware/software they still work. But, if you can borrow a pc, then get them updated. - initially the headphones were a little too tight on my head. After month 3 of wearing them, they’ve finally loosened just a bit and they feel great now! They never did feel too heavy… not from the band on top of the head or the weight on the ears. Nor did they feel too warm, especially in the hot summertime. - if you set the headphones to accept phone calls… while you are gaming, it will automatically answer the call. You don’t get a chance to let your party know and you won’t be able to speak with them until the call is finished. Not my thing, so I keep that feature off personally. But if I use them to listen to music, then it’s a nice feature. - they’re kind of like the ps4 controller in that you can’t travel too far, and over time that distance shortens a bit. - if I’m too far away for too long, then they have to be paired again. - rarely there is a static sound and rarely does it drop the sound. Overall I believe they are worth the money. A solid headset with minimal issues.

These headphones are above average for someone that likes the turtle beach headphone format. There are better headsets imo for the same price point for sound for sure. If you do buy them get a protection plan unless you hang them up every time. I'm pretty careless as far as giving them a light toss onto the night stand fairly regularly. Had a couple break before one i think was from a short fall to the floor and the other I believe was from having a bigger head than most and it stretched eventually and cracked by the earmuff. If you liked the 600 gen 1s these are a good upgrade. I like them because I can hear myself talk the sound is decent and the charge lasts for quite a while. The quality for turtle beach has been on a downhill slide since the xbox 360 and xbox 1 days but these are a major improvement over the cheaper turtle beach headsets. If I had to put a price tag on them it'd be close to 130 to 150 dollars

Really good sound in-game using the “super human hearing mode” included with this headset. Sound is directionally accurate. I can literally hear things my teammates cannot. Ear pads fit snug and comfortable and they don’t slip around your head at all. My glasses fit without trouble. They’re not very breathable though so it can get a bit warm. The structure of the headset seems stronger and more durable than the previous iterations of the Turtle Beach Stealth Gen series. This is a big upgrade because I’ve been through four Turtle Beach Headsets that just structurally failed. The battery lasts a really long time. I only charge it after every couple days of heavy gaming. When you turn the headset on, it gives you an audio report on the charge level of the battery. The headset looks great. It looks even better in person than in the pictures for real. The only real drawback was that the packaging was kind of cheap. For the money, I would have hoped to receive a headset specific carrying case along with it, like the elite gaming controllers of similar price. It would have been nice but, it wasn’t a deal a breaker.

I'll try to keep this brief. I bought these at launch and am on the very first firmware iteration. I love the look, I love the ear cushions, I love the app where you can control everything independently, and I absolutely love the sound... When it works properly. I find I have to turn it on at least twice in order to get it to connect to the dongle in Xbox mode. When it connects, the volume can be extremely inconsistent. Usually it's far too quiet, but a quick run through the app and moving a slider in the Custom EQ section brings the volume back to life. It's a minor inconvenience, but it has to be done every time I turn them on. I want to love these and give them 5 stars, the sound and customization with the EQ is amazing, but the volume issues, the connectivity issues, and the preset EQ's all being very low volume and hard to differentiate in comparison to the original 700 Gen 2 units have me unable to get past 3 stars. I'm sure these issues will be ironed out in a firmware update, I've been going back and forth with Turtle Beach support to help give as much information as I can, but until the inconveniences are ironed out I've found myself using a different wired set of headphones just because I don't feel like dealing with it. If I can edit this after they're updated, I'll happily do so.

Excellent sound and fantastic battery life. I've used them many times since first getting them, and have yet to recharge them. Connectivity was an issue at first, and I was unable to connect for a while. This seems to be spontaneously improving for unknown reasons. Additionally I had thought this model could connect to Xbox without the USB transmitter. Unfortunately I was wrong. This was disappointing at first, but perhaps this is a good thing since I can connect to anything with a USB port.

I recently purchased the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX Wireless Multiplatform Gaming Headset, and I am extremely impressed with its performance. The headset is compatible with Xbox, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, making it a versatile choice for gamers. The sound quality is excellent, with crystal-clear audio that allows me to hear even the faintest sounds in the game. The noise-cancelling feature works exceptionally well, blocking out any background noise and ensuring that I remain fully immersed in the game. The headset is also incredibly comfortable to wear, with soft, plush ear cushions that fit snugly around my ears without causing any discomfort or irritation. The headband is adjustable, which means that the headset can be adjusted to fit any head size. Another impressive feature of this headset is its battery life, which lasts for over 40 hours on a single charge. This means that I can play for hours on end without having to worry about the battery running out.

Overall great headset. I’ve been using it for over 3 months now and have had little issues, although they are a bit annoying. Comfortable for medium-long gaming session (I wear glasses as well). The sound is about what I would expect from the price, but would’ve liked a bit more bass. Great for FPS. Mic quality is awesome and the wheels on the headset really come in handy, as well as the ability to customize them using the app. My complaints come with the use of the app and the headset when it comes to remembering your custom settings. There’s been times where it randomly switches back to factory settings and is very annoying to fix during a game session. It can happen anywhere from once a month to 5 days of the week. I’ve found that keeping it above 50% charge has resulted in less of this but it still will occur.

I recently acquired this gaming headset, and I must say it has exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I put it on, I was immersed in a world of unparalleled audio clarity and precision. The sound quality is truly exceptional, delivering crisp highs, deep lows, and a perfect balance that enhances every gaming session. The headset's surround sound capabilities are a game-changer, providing an immersive audio landscape that allows me to pinpoint enemy footsteps with incredible accuracy. Comfort is another standout feature. The headset is designed with long gaming sessions in mind, featuring plush ear cushions and an adjustable headband that ensures a snug fit without any discomfort. I've worn it for extended periods, and it remains comfortable throughout. Durability is key, and this headset doesn't disappoint. The build quality is robust, showcasing a combination of sturdy materials that give it a premium feel. It has withstood my intense gaming moments and even accidental drops without a scratch. The mic performance is crystal clear, ensuring that communication with teammates is seamless. Whether coordinating strategies or engaging in banter, the headset's microphone delivers my voice with precision. In conclusion, this gaming headset stands as the best I've ever owned. It seamlessly combines top-notch audio quality, comfort, durability, and communication features. If you're serious about your gaming experience, this headset is an absolute must-have. It has elevated my gaming sessions to a whole new level, and I can't recommend it enough!

Pretty good quality, the usb for the headset need to be in sight for better connection but over all really good. Can have it connected to my phone or computer with Bluetooth at the same time it’s connected to the usb in my Xbox and can hear both at the same time, but the mic with one work for one at a time, which I think is preferred and really cool. The audio quality is pretty great, but being a lover of music I wish I could hear the bass some more. It’s not nonexistent just wish there was more from it but that’s just my opinion. Being that they’re meant for gaming it does a fantastic job! The mic is really cool because when you have the mic up in the headset the outside sound is very dampened really well but when you open up the mic, the headset will play what it hears in your headset so you can hear yourself speak. This is great so that you can hear what you are saying but also that you know your volume level as well.

Was angry at first when i got them bc i could hear my xbox game playing but none of my friends could hear me and my voice wasnt being picked up. After several hours of troubleshooting i found that turning my voice chat sensivity on console settings from 100 to 90 seemed to pick up the mic. Was a little upset that all the videos i watched nobody mentioned that but once i got it working i was very satisfied. I owned 2 turtle beach stealth gen 2 700 before and never had that issue. One was for my ps5 and the other for the xbox one x. I lent my xbox set out and never got them back but ive never had them stop working or had issues. Very impressed with the battery life and that i can use these across multiple platforms.

I've bought the cheap basic and the mid level in different varieties but figured this one was recommened I'd try it out. The sound wuality and connection are fine. Comfort on ear/head is fine. But I've had this for just over a year and a couple weeks.( bought in May of 2024) and I expected way more from the price point in comparison to the others I've purchased. Bought one in the $60/70 range that lasted me 4 years. This is just over a year and already falling apart ?? Crazy. I also am gentle with it it sits on a head phone rest so its not shoved any which way or crunched up in a case.

Overall I like it, my only issues so far which is why I gave it 3 star vs 5 is that sometimes it seems to cut out where people just won’t be able to hear me. Mainly happens when on PC but once or twice on Xbox as well. It’s also very small so can get a bit uncomfortable after a while. I assume mainly because of how small it is paired with wearing glasses. It has adjustment for wearing glasses but honestly it doesn’t really help enough for how snug it fits so still hurts around the ears after a bit. The connection cutting out is my main issue. I will still hear and it will show as if it’s transmitting my voice just no one can hear me. Sometimes turning it off and then back on helps but other it just starts working when it seems to want to so can be frustrating. I got it because I wanted something wireless that was easy to switch between my Xbox and my laptop. Eventually will order something else that works better.

Pretty awesome headset. Using the general bluetooth without the dongle is hit or miss. Sometimes I get a constant sound stutter that's super annoying. It's super touchy, re-pairing seems to be the only way to fix it. With the dongle, sound is flawless with no noticeable delay. I do not care to move the dongle to every device I wish to use the headset with so it stays in the PS5. Just wish sound was reliable without the dongle (the delay without the dongle isn't a problem, just standard bluetooth tech, just wish it would work reliably, without the stutter). But for what I purchased the headset for, flawless.
