Customers are saying

Customers regard the Stealth 700 Gen 3 headset highly for its excellent sound quality, long battery life, and comfortable fit. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple devices and the strong bass response, although some experienced connectivity difficulties. A few users found the headset somewhat heavy and the firmware update process cumbersome. The volume control also received some criticism for its design.

I bought the gen 2's a few years ago, and they have always sounded amazing, but the build quality is crap.. they broke and I had to JB weld them to keep them alive. They had many disconnection and connection issues even after updates. This new Gen 3 set is absolutely awesome! super high quality build.. they just feel nice, I cant see these physically breaking unless you seriously abuse them.. connection has been flawless, same excellent sound quality as the gen 2's had for me and these actually connect to several devices at once.. I can play Spotify from my phone while gaming and control the volume of chat, music, and game all separately.. if your on the fence.. or heard bad things about TB.. these will blow away your expectations. If your a plus member make sure you get your discount, I bought these for $165 instead of the $199. seriously.. go.. get them.

Bought this headset as a gift for my partner for X-Mas, to replace his previous generation Turtle Beach headset. Review from his perspective: Sturdy headset that allows for quite a bit of flexibility. Connects quickly to the console/TV. This headset outputs crisp, clean communication with others on multiplayer lobbies in games, as well as the sound from games themselves of course. The steel(-like?) headband provides a secure fit that stays on your head easily, but allows for you to move a muff off of your ear to hear your surroundings without causing strain to either the headset itself OR your ear/skull where it sits, even if you're wearing glasses. It does not cause pulling/breakage of hair. Turtle Beach is one of the top rated headsets in the game for a reason! Overall, highly recommend this headset to anyone who is looking for a headset to amplify and enhance their gaming experience.

Quick summary, I've had the previous version for about 1½ yrs but always felt frail until it finally broke. They've fixed that, had the new version for a month and I can tell, obviously, it's lightweight metal. When I first bought I also tried the Logitech same price range I think G9? But night and day these were more 360 for gaming and better clarity than anything I've tried, I play COD. Trust me go Turtle Beach

Overall. I really like this headset. There’s a few pros and cons I have. Pros I like that it connects to my phone, I really enjoy being able to FaceTime with my partner while they are at work, and be able to play a game with them still in my ear. My friends can hear me great when playing online games. I really like that the mic part moves closer/further away from my mouth as I desire. And there’s a little beep when you mute and unmute the mic. They are comfortable long wear. Pro/Cons: a little pricy. But you get what you pay for definitely. Con: I don’t really like how every time I turn the headset on, it automatically connects via Bluetooth to my phone. I wish there was a way to be able to switch it to where I’d have to manually go in and connect my phone if that’s what I chose to do. Other than that there’s not much else I don’t like. I got this headset a couple weeks ago and I charged it fully before first use, and it’s still at about 80%. I use this headset every day pretty much, for 3-4 hours give or take.

Out the box my first impressions were how heavy they were and honestly I was a little concerned by that but once I had them on I wasn't bothered at all. The solid feel is the design of these being made with high quality materials and overall high quality build materials. They not only look really sleek but are extremely comfortable to wear, more so than I would have initially expected when I first took them out of the box. I performed the firmware update on them from my PC which took a bit longer than I anticipated but after roughly 10 minutes it was done. One thing is that you will need to have your XBOX on and that dongle plugged in along with the dongle for you PC so that the update sees both of them plus the headset with you connected via Bluetooth. Once it detects the dongles and the headset it kicks off and does it's thing. Sound quality is better than any other Turtle Beach or Astro headsets that I have used in the past. One cool feature is the Swarm II app for my phone that allows for lots of customization of the sounds or playback on the headset. They connect without any issues and can easily be switched from XBOX mode to PC mode with the press of the mode button on the headset. Pros - Ultra clear audio allowing for details in games like Call of Duty that I never heard until I work this headset - Ultra high quality parts - Very sleek design - Phone App to allow for even more customization - Can game while also taking on your phone or listening to audio from your phone - Battery life so far has been excellent Cons - They are heavier than my other headsets by a good amount but for me I don't really notice while wearing them but I am a larger guy - Completing the firmware update was a bit of a challenge and I had to restart it a few times between the dongles all being detected and my phone seeing the headset - No 3.5mm plug to use with just a standard headphone cable if the battery is dead Overall for the XBOX gamer who also likes to game on their PC or Laptop these are a great par of headphones. They sound phenomenal, look great, have amazing batter life, and despite their weight are very comfortable. I would highly recommend these if you are looking for a high quality wireless headset.

Turtle Beach’s new gaming headsets, The Stealth 700 Are very good gaming headsets and at $200 they feel just right. First thing toubare instructed to do right out of the box is to do a firmware update. Its easy but you really have to read the instructions carefully. One thing I look for in gaming headsets is how comfortable they are, I’ve had some in the past clamp down on my head so much that I would get headaches within minutes of wearing them, this is not the case here, they are soft yet firm on my head. Battery life is awesome, I just charged them up fully before Instarted usingthem and haven’t changed them since its been a fee hours now, they are still going strong. The sound is really good, they can get very loud, but the audio always stays clear with no distortion. Overall these gaming headsets look and feel like they are made from premium parts. My only “Con” about these, is that the volume and game chat wheels, require a lot of turns to go from 0 to 100 or vice versa. you could turn these up or down as well through the app. Pros: Loud Clear sound No Distortion Nice Bass Comfortable Battery Life Cons: Volume and gamechat wheels could be a little more responsive

The headset specs and feel are great but there is no way i can keep these due to how the firmware is updated. They are also a PC compatible headset but they FORCE you to use an unreliable MOBILE APP TO UPDATE FIRMWARE even though you have the PC software. As you already know, good luck getting the headset to properly pair for an update. IT FINALLY PAIRED AFTER 30 MINUTES ONLY TO INSTANTLY DISCONNECT LOL. STAY AWAY FROM THESE TRASHCANS

Turtle Beach has made some of my favorite gaming headsets that I have ever used. This one has some terrific features/qualities and is very versatile. Here are some of the things I liked most. Pros: - This headset, while designed for Xbox, can also be used on a PC or even with a Playstation or Nintendo Switch. It can connect over RF dongles (1 is included for Xbox and another is included for general USB connection). The headset can also be connected by Bluetooth so these can be used to enjoy music or podcasts being played on your phone. I love this kind of versatility. - The battery life is fantastic. It's rated for up to 80 hours and I believe it, as I've used it for about a week without having to charge it. - Audio quality is excellent. I felt firmly immersed in the games I've been playing and music also sounds great. - The flip to mute mic bar is a feature I have used before and I enjoy it. When I'm not playing a multiplayer game I like that I can just keep it tucked away so it is not getting bumped into. Cons: - Updating firmware was a chore. I installed the Swarm II app as instructed, but for 24 hours I tried to update the firmware about a dozen times and I could not get the headset to be detected by the app, even though I had the Bluetooth connected as instructed. On the second day I was finally able to get it updated and they have been working great since. For wireless gaming headsets, this is one of the better options I've come across in its price range. I am a fan.

the latest from turtle beach the Turtle beach Stealth 700 Gen 3! and heads up if you’re planning on getting one of these I recommend to go ahead and get the xbox version since you’ll be able to use it on PS as well. -DESIGN- first the unbox is experience is pretty straight forward. nothing fancy but an easy simple packing. as soon as you open you see this headset has two dedicated dongle, one you can use for PC and the other for the console for easy switching between the two! I have the black xbox version, the color is black with silver like trim to it, overall color of the headset the finish looks great. the ear bad is for with great amount of cushioning to support your ear, it’s a mix of leather and plastic but the quality I found it to have a great comfortable feeling when pressing it. you also get that cushion support on the bad with leather like texture above your head. I think the weight was ok for adult, I do prefer a bit lighter headset the turtle beach stealth 700 is also equipped with foldable microphone, imma tell ya know the mic when the first time I felt it it seems very low quality, the built quality for the mic seems off there is alot of plastic covering around the framing with the lower part of the band to be a metal I guess to kinda help not look like a cheap headset. but overall quality of the build for me is alright. -FEATURES- Turtle beach stealth 700 support dual usb wireless connectivity like I mentioned earlier so you won’t have to worry about disconnecting and reconnecting to your console or PC. it also have simultaneous wireless + bluetooth connectivity so yes you can connect this to your phone and game at the same time.this headset support up to 80 hrs of battery life with USBC plug for charging. the headset also equipped with a switch button for your dongle when both are plugged on two different devices. the headset have 3 separate knob one side is for bluetooth (2.4ghz BT 5.2) volume and the other is for your in game and chat. I think Turtle beach hit a home run on that feature maybe more company should do the same. the headset is equipped with 60mm drivers with great quality sounds from my experience. don’t forgot to always download the latest firmware as well as soon as you open this headset. make sure to download their app on PC and you can also download their mobile app and wow it’s works wonderfully. the app has tons of settings to mess with including the preset EQ and the ability to create multiple presets and the option to adjust is pretty robust. again I gotta give turtle beach a positive feedback just the app alone. the options doesn’t just stop at for in game audio, you also have the ability to customize your microphone audio quality, with its own EQ setting as well top notch feature I love it! -CONCLUSION- I play tons of Halo infinite with these playing competitively. when it comes to the audio part about this headset I have no complaints at all, the fact that I can fully customize for my own personal liking is what sold me, audio was clear It has great amount of bass. but the microphone Im still having a hard time perfecting it I guess. my other headset quality of the audio was much better from what my friend told me. it’s much easier to test the mic when you play with your friends since they’re the first one that will notice if your audio changed since the last time . this headset was also great for racing game hearing all the engine, tires and crashes around you. overall do I recommend this headset. I think for the price that turtle beach is asking if yeah I think it’s worth it. I love the app I think that’s where most people will spend their time if you enjoy audio customization this headset got you. I just don’t like the feel of the microphone it feels and look so low quality. again that’s just my personal experience I hope they change the look in the future. this the only headset I know that also have 2 dongle. again get the xbox version it’s all you need, I have XSS and PS5 and I have no issues using it on both.

I remember when Turtle Beach was the name you went to for tha extra headsets between the time it took to up save the money for a new good pair. When you heard the name Turtle Beach, you basically thought Fischer Price for gamers. Things have really changed for those guys over the past few years. They're still making budget headsets, but they are actually really good products and they're alsoo doing gaming controllers that make you really think of swapping out your Elite (I did say " Think on it.") They have come out of the gate with the Stealth 700 wireless gen 3 gaming headsets. And man oh man, are these a step up from previous Stealth headsets. This headset is specifically for the Xbox Series consoles, because for some reason Microsoft hasn't nailed down bluetooth tech(I know this isn’t true, but Microsoft would like us to think it is.) But with that being said, the Stealth 700 Gen 3 comes with two specific dongles. One for Xbox Series and one for your PC of choice( which is quite possibly a Microsoftt device using bluetooth tech.) The package is simple enough. Housing the Stealth 700 Gen 3 headsets with 60 mm drivers and drop down boom mic, a charging cable those two seperate dongles I spoke of. I guess you want to know if these are worth your cash. Well, after installing the software update, you're gonna find yourself using very high quality pair of gaming headsets. Keep in mind, there are more refined brands out there that rival the cost to quality ratio of these, but to be honest, I was really impressed. The sound quality is very good. The surround sound feels very immersive, as if I can feel people moving around my perimeter. And the mic seems to have been upgraded from previous entries. The feel of the headset is really good quality. It feels premium, unlike thier other stuff, but this also means that they are kinda heavy where their other headsets are made with much lighter materials. In the end, they look & feel professional. I wouldn't be ashamed to stream with these or take them to a tourney. I'm very impressed with what Turtle Beach has brought forward. It's more of a hit on Microsoft than Turtle Beach, but get that bluetooth thing taken care of and headsets like this can really show it's full potential.

I have been using the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 for a week now on my Xbox, work laptop, and even tested on a Nintendo Switch. The Stealth 700 is a great sounding, versatile, use anywhere headset with excellent noise isolation. What's in the box - Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 Wireless Gaming Headset - USB C charging cabe (headset) - 2 (yes 2!) USB dongles (more on that later) First Impressions The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 looks premium. There's a nice weight to it. It has a steel headband, good padding, and the microphone flips into the unit. The big surprise was dual USB dongles in the box - one is labelled Xbox and the other is for your PC. The included USB C cable is a bit short and definitely too short if you want to charge the Stealth from the back of your Xbox. There's a lot (A LOT) of buttons on the headset, power, Bluetooth pairing, a wheel for custom in-game controls (PC only, requires Swarm). It has been a week and I still think I am getting use to it all. There's no RGB lighting, which is a relief. I don't need RGB on a headset. Setup Setup on the Xbox is easy, plug, pair, play. However, in the box there's a reminder to update the firmware. For this you need the Swarm II App on your phone (yes phone). Make sure you get the Swarm II App not the Swarm I app. You will need to plug in both USB dongles into the back of your Xbox and pair the headset to your phone by Bluetooth to do the firmware updates. Don't forget to remove one dongle at the end so you can use it elsewhere. The process is OK, a little slow, and the first update failed on me as a call came through mid-update (not Turtle Beach's fault). In Use - Mind Blown! This is where the Stealth is AMAZING. It can dual pair at the same time to the dongle and via Bluetooth. This is the first time I have experienced a headset capable of this - so you can be on your phone and playing a game. I didn't even know this existed and now it's all I really want on any headset. On this alone the Stealth 700 is a great headset. Audio quality is clear, nice deep bass, clear in game dialogue, and I had no complaints from friends on voice quality during game play. Battery life has been great. Turtle Beach rate the Stealth Gen 3 at 80 hours, I have been playing a few hours a night and barely got down to 65%. What's Good The audio quality is great, but the dual pairing and rapid switching is amazing. I play games in my basement. I have the headset dual paired to my Xbox and phone, and when my partner wants my attention I now can hear the texts and calls come through. Trust me, this is a good thing! The Bluetooth capability means the Stealth 700 can pair with anything. I tested it on my Switch. Worked. This could be your perfect headset if you game across Xbox, PC, Steamdeck, etc. What's Not So Good. This is probably trivial and unique to me. I also have a Turtle Beach Kone mouse. I love it. But now my gaming PC needs two versions of Swarm - the new and the old version. That's just a little frustrating. Not a deal breaker, just frustrating. Also, if you're thinking of getting this and think you attempt to set it up first on your PC, the Swarm software will basically permanently remind you to update the Xbox dongle. Make sure you set it up on your Xbox first. Overall Amazing headset. Great sound. Fast pairing across multiple devices but the amazing dual simultaneous pairing is what makes this a great headset and perfect for any gamer.

    Comfort Meets Tinny Trouble

As a long-time fan of Turtle Beach products, I had high expectations for the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox. While I’ve had positive experiences with previous models, this one has been a bit of a letdown, despite its well-thought-out design and features. Let’s dive into the details of this headset. Specs and Features: - Drivers: 60mm Eclipse Dual drivers - Compatibility: Xbox, Windows PC, mobile devices (via Bluetooth) - Connectivity: Wireless connection to Xbox and PC via USB dongles, Bluetooth for mobile - Battery Life: Up to 80 hours!! - Mic: Flip-up mic, mutes when flipped up with A.I. based microphone noise reduction - Controls: Volume dials for game and chat audio, EQ presets, Bluetooth pairing, mic mute - Sound Customization: Turtle Beach Swarm II app with EQ customization and mic monitoring - Comfort: Soft foam interior with Hybrid Leatherette and athletic fabric outer ear cushions - Durability: Sturdy, high-quality plastic with metal reinforced headband My Personal Take: Despite the Stealth 700 Gen 3’s robust build quality and comfort, they didn’t hit the mark for me, and I’ve been left feeling disappointed for several reasons. What I Loved: - Comfort: These headphones are incredibly comfortable, even during long gaming sessions. The soft foam cushions, combined with the Hybrid Leatherette and athletic fabric, allow me to wear them for hours without feeling fatigue. Even though they’re massive due to the large 60mm drivers, they never felt too heavy. - Flip-up Boom Mic: The flip-up boom to mute feature is one of my favorite aspects of this headset. It’s easy to use, and I appreciate the convenience of instantly muting myself with a simple motion during gaming sessions. - Buttons and Dials: I love the tactile nature of the buttons and dials on this headset. They’re well-placed, making it easy to adjust game and chat audio balance on the fly. The physical controls feel intuitive, and it’s nice to have all the adjustments available directly on the headset. - Cross-Platform Compatibility: The Stealth 700 Gen 3 works seamlessly across multiple platforms, including my phone, Xbox, and PC. It's great having a headset that can connect to all of my devices, especially for gaming on Xbox and PC and multitasking on mobile. Where Things Fell Short: - Sound Quality – Tinny and Unimpressive: The biggest drawback for me was the sound quality. No matter how much I messed around with the audio EQ settings, the sound remained tinny and lacked depth. Even my friends, who heard me through the mic, commented on how the audio sounded off. This was a huge disappointment, especially given the high expectations I had for the 60mm drivers. I tried all the preset EQ modes and custom settings, but nothing could fix the hollow, unbalanced sound. - Mic Monitoring Issues: Mic monitoring is another area where the Stealth 700 Gen 3 falls flat. Even with the mic monitoring turned up to 100% in the app, the feature was inconsistent at best. It would fade in and out in a distracting wave pattern, making it nearly impossible to monitor my voice effectively. This was incredibly frustrating and caused me to switch back to my old headset. - EQ Presets and Audio Tuning: I found the EQ presets included with the headset lackluster. None of them offered the balanced audio profile I was hoping for. I could never get the sound right across different platforms, whether on Xbox, PC, or my phone, and the tinny sound persisted no matter the device. Final Thoughts: Despite the headset’s many positives, including its durable build, excellent comfort, and great feature set, the sound quality and inconsistent mic monitoring make it hard for me to recommend. I even made sure to update the firmware right out of the box as the directions said, hoping that there wouldn’t be any issues, but the problems persisted. The issues with the audio and mic were so distracting that I had to switch back to my old headset. I don’t know if I got a bad pair, but the Stealth 700 Gen 3 is my least favorite Turtle Beach headset to date, which is a real disappointment given my long-standing loyalty to the brand. While it’s built well and loaded with features, the tinny sound and problematic mic monitoring make it hard to justify the purchase, especially when there are better options available for gaming headsets. I am hoping there is an update soon that might clear up some of these bugs.

Best headphones ive tryed so far. They stay on my head even when working out they also have a flip down mic that mutes when fliped up they have some pretty nice bass when listening to music and my favorite part is your able to bluetooth music on phone and game and hear both at same time and have dials to controll each volume on each ear muff. I couldnt belive battery lasted about 2 weeks and i used them often. I belive 80 hours is whats quoted and thats about right i thought i was exaggeration but it wasnt. The only things i would change is have a 6ft braided charge cord and a protective charge case.

I got these to work wirelessly from my PC, for gaming and work. They sound really good, comparable to other wired headphones I have in this price range, and they're really comfortable. I didn't use it for Xbox and PC both, just on PC, but having two USB connections would have made that really easy. I did drop a point (and end up returning these) because the range was less than other wireless headphones I've had in the past; at about 30 feet, the connection would get really crackly and drop altogether. I will look for a headset with longer range next time, but if you won't be going that far, these are a great choice.

I would recommend this to a friend
