This yoke is so incredible you’ll feel like you’re flying a real plane. The quality is great, the material is great and the lighting is so cool. This product will serve you well to enjoy playing Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Great flight system! I’ve used it with MSFS and several others. Great all around features, tons of programmable buttons, and extremely realistic controls. Would highly recommend!

Overall I like this controller. It works well with the Xbox and is very customizable. In fact, every button and lever can be mapped to your liking. There are two drawbacks that I have found and one may or not have been my fault. I'll start with the one that might have been me. One of the HAT buttons broke within me using it three times. Not sure if it was damaged in shipping, if I pressed it too hard, or it was defective out of the box. It cracked and came off during a flight. It's still usable, I just need to be careful. The main reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the yoke has a sticking point, Not sure if its a detent or just needs to be used more. I find that when I'm trying to perform just a slight adjustment during flight, I sometimes have to push or pull on the yoke a little harder than I'd like. During the simulator flight it causes the plane to "overcorrect". Other than that I love using it and its much easier than a regular Xbox controller. Work well with MSFS 2024 too. I'll also add that it can be mounted to pretty much any flat surface, but for my setup (recliner and wall mounted TV) I needed something that would reach when I lean back. For that I bought the Turtle Beach universal stand. Also recommend that.

It’s a great item for what it’s worth. However, there were a couple of things that stood out. The first thing that stood out as soon as it got unpackaged was the throttle quadrant. The primer and the throttle for GA aircraft had no resistance on them. They could easily be pulled out and put in. It made the feeling of this yoke less realistic, which for the money spent it’s kind of a bummer. The second issue I’m having is the spring on the yoke itself. When pulling back it’ll get stuck on what feels like a detent which makes it very hard to do any stabilized pattern work. For what I thought was going to be hyper realistic turned out to be a little bit of a disappointment. It’s not bad it’s just not the best thing I’ve ever had. If you’re looking to understand controls then this will help. However, if you’re looking for something realistic you might want to find something else. The money spent doesn’t match the level of realism I hoped to achieve. This doesn’t make it a bad yoke adapter but it does give a slightly less realistic feel than what I’d like.

I'm sure you'll find my review very similar to others on the web. Please keep in mind that I'm still new to this device and the MS Flight Sim software. The Yoke does stick and has unneccessary drag when pitching the nose up and down. Hopefully that will free up with usage as claimed by Turtle Beach. There are different settings and profiles in the game and in the controller. Determining which one to use is a challenge. Though every button on the controller is customizable, I still find it difficult to know which button is which and does what. There is a large "Cheat Sheet" that is supposed to make it easier to identify which button is assigned to what function, but it seems to be a little difficult for this 65 year old "Simmer" to decipher. As I said, I'm still new to this and have been using some buttons and controls on a regular basis which helps. Hopefully, as I get more familiar with this device, I'll be able to do more with it. One item that is not discussed in the enclosed documents (that I can remember), is that the device may need to be recalibrated at some point. I found that after a relatively short amount of use that I needed to do this. The aircraft was constantly wanting to steer left, the throttle was laggy and the Trim Wheel was not steady or working properly. A Google search brought me to the Turtle Beach website where I found the recalibration steps. It's not difficult to perform, but it made all the difference. Bottom line for me right now, is that for the money it does what I need it to do. It's LIGHT YEARS better than using a keyboard and mouse. I find myself wanting a Flight Stick next so I can try the Jets and other aircraft that utilize a Stick. Even a helicopter. As far as Rudder Pedals, they are integrated into the VelocityOne as triggers on the Yoke. Very handy so no need to rush out for pedals, especially for taxiing. I'm happy with the purchase and I recommend it for the casual to mid-level "Simmer". There are better devices out there for a little more money and I'm almost sorry I didn't purchase the "Honeycomb" devices. With that, I probably would have needed to purchase Rudder Pedals as it is not integrated like the VelocityOne. Although, I do believe you can have the software help with pedals. I don't remember. On a side note, if you do decide to try Flight Sim, be prepared for about a 3 to 4 hour download and install and please check system requirements before making the purchase as it is non-refundable. BTW, I have Optimum 300 service. It really took a lot longer than I thought. BK

The V1 is a nice system for casual simmers and console players with limited options. The Yolk has a nice build quality with the traditional Xbox buttons and 4 programable switches. With the optional software installed the lcd screen and indicator LEDs are fully functional. The throttle piece feels a little light and the throttle levers don't have quite the same heavy motion as the yolk. The trim wheel feels good, but lacks any kind of neutral indication. The programable buttons should cover your landing gear and flap management and essential auto pilot functions. This is a nice setup for casuals and beginners but you may have better results with Honeycomb products.

Works great, easy enough for my 13 year old to install and setup with Microsoft Flight Sim. The motion is a little “sticky” at first but we are hoping it will free up with more use as has been documented in other reviews.

Good option for xbox. The controls are too loose. The light indicators will not function until furthere software update. The vertical trim wheel and 12 controllable buttons are useful.

The TB VelocityOne is hands-down one of the best flight sim controllers I’ve used. The build quality is overall excellent, the controls are smooth (newest version) & responsive. Setup was quick, and the sim is versatile across different aircraft. It truly elevates the flight sim experience and feels like gear of some higher priced controls. Highly recommended sim pilots.

Absolutely love it. Easy to install on pc. Very nice controlla although it should of had an option to adjust firmness on the thrust controlls. Othet than that its been a great device. Also be sure to download the TFS file so your indicators will work like a real system. Works with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. XPlain and Elite Dangerous although for Elite Dangerous i would recommend the X52 or X56 system from sietek

To use the rudder with this you have to have it connected via a longer cable. But you cannot update the yoke if the rudder is plugged in so that took me a day to figure out as their was nowhere it says that until i found a reddit page.

I bought this for my son, I did get one first but it didn't work properly so I had to return back and order a new one, I found there were several complains about that. the second one has been working well, just make sure you test it and make sure it is working well before the return period expires. I gave it four stars instead of due to the inconvenience and the delay for returning and the delay to get a new one

The yoke is just ok imo. Spend a few more bucks to get a better yoke and throttle quad. It is what I expected so not to disappointed. I have since upgraded to a Boeing yoke and airbus throttle quad. Well worth the extra cost. I recommend it if you’re on a budget.

The setup of the Velocity One is very nice. it has everything, throttles, flaps, trim wheel.. all kinds of programable buttons and a fantastic way to clamp to the desk.. BUT,, when it comes to landing a plane,, using one hand on the throttle and one on the yoke,, it can NOT be done smoothly,, a very basic thing yet without it makes everything else pointless. The elevator control, the pushing and pulling of the yoke cannot be done smoothly. As pretty much ALL reviews say, it's 'sticky'. instead of a smooth flare on landing it becomes and up and down yoyo motion. I read it would smooth out over time.. I didn't see any change in two weeks and hundreds of landings. I wound up returning the unit to Best Buy. I REALLY wish it would have smoothed out as there are many other good things, but if you can't land smoothly none of them matter. (There is a guy on Etsy selling a 3D printed bearing that may help) Would have gladly gave it more stars but not with the issue mentioned.

It is an amazing product for the money, however mine came with a slight issue where one of the pov switches was mapped as down when moved up. I recalibrated it a couple of times then shortly after called bestbuy. They told me i could bring it in, give it to them and they would reorder it. it costed me no more and im greatful that they did that.
