A lot of the people that have reviewed this product negatively did so before the software was ready. As of 04/18/25 the software has performed phenomenally for myself. This is turtle Beach's first attempt at racing simulation hardware. They had a lot of kinks to work out. I upgraded from a Logitech g29 to a thrustmaster t598 and was not really happy with the performance and the extremely lackluster software. Not to mention there was no clutch pedal and it wasn't available to purchase. It's been 5 months since the release of that product and all of the accessories they stated would be available have not been available. I returned the t598 and saw this on sale. I picked it up after reading reviews on various sites and deciding to take a chance on it. The developers for the software for this product are very active on Reddit. Once home I was immediately surprised by how well this product is packaged. Everything is wrapped in very high quality black plastic. And each component was very securely protected with cardboard. The build quality on this is extremely high. Everything feels very solid and rigid. Even the plastic parts are extremely high quality plastic. Turtle Beach has a reputation for lack of quality control but it seems like they've done a lot better with this product. Set up was very easy. The wheel uses a quick connect to the base. The base can be attached directly with the four screw holes on the bottom to a cockpit or can be adjusted using the built-in table clamp. The clamp on this product is probably the best one I've seen out of all the different ones I've tested. When you open the side there's a Allen key built-in that allows you to make adjustments. The pedals are extremely high quality and the brake pedal is a load cell brake pedal which feels night and day from a spring loaded pedal. You can also adjust the position of the brake pedal to your liking. One thing I noticed immediately is how much attention to detail went into the small things with this product. Everything connects with very high quality braided type c cables. Once connected I just had to update the firmware which took about 25 minutes. The force feedback feels fantastic in games. The RMD which is the built-in display works for pretty much every game I tested. There is a slight delay sometimes whenever you switch from one game to another but that really didn't bother me as much as I seem to bother other people. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this product. There really isn't anything at this price point that is direct drive with that included button box, and high quality triple set pedals. The shifter accessory you can purchase for this is probably the best one on the market around its price and I ordered it immediately. Overall I would highly recommend this product radio and interested in some racing and wanting to make the upgrade to a DD interface.

This is my first force feedback wheel and I'm super happy. Got it on sale for under 4 bills and it's been a blast. The pedals need a stand or backstop, but I can't count that as a negative. If you can get it on sale I wouldn't blink. Don't listen to the overly critical early reviews

Bought this setup on sale, so far it works great, I’m using it on pc, the feedback is much better than a belt or gear drive unit, and the load cell brake is a nice feature as well. I will caution however that there is a limited number of games that the display screen works with.

The Turtle Beach VelocityOne pedal set is nothing short of a game-changer. From the moment I paired it with my racing setup, the immersion and realism skyrocketed. The build quality is premium, the feel of the pedals is incredibly responsive, and the adjustability lets you dial in the perfect setup for any racing style. Every corner, every brake zone feels more alive—this is the kind of gear that takes sim racing from great to unforgettable. But what truly sets Turtle Beach apart isn’t just the hardware—it’s the exceptional customer service. I ran into an issue while adjusting the brake pedal—some wires from the load sensor came off. I reached out to Turtle Beach support, and they didn’t hesitate. No hassle, no runaround. they immediately shipped me a replacement pedal assembly. Fast, friendly, and truly customer-first. In a world where tech support is often hit or miss, Turtle Beach proves what real support looks like. They’ve earned my loyalty, and I can’t recommend Turtle Beach enough. For racers who want to feel the road and be backed by a brand that cares.

This is currently the best wheel I've ever purchased. It has a ton of bells and whistles, and has a quick disconnect for the wheel which is usually used for the super expensive wheels. I use it just about every day. The only con I can see is having to program the profiles for newer games. But once they're programmed, they're good. I'm sure in the near future that aspect will be taken care of. Turtle Beach comes in clutch with their first sim wheel!

I understand it was an open box but was missing a few little things. But the product alone seemed fine but after a few weeks of using outside the return window I had to contact the manufacturer for a warranty and got a full replacement.

Take couch racing to a whole new, realistic level

For decades I have been playing racing games from the comfort of my couch using only a standard game console controller. However, I have always wanted my racing experiences to feel more realistic and relied heavily on the game makers alone to do this by mainly providing better graphics, sounds, campaigns and online play. Periodically I would step out of my comfort zone and go to the local arcade with my kids and sit side by side in a racing simulator which made the racing feel even more realistic. I knew decent console racing peripherals have been in the mix for the better part of my gaming life however there was always something holding me back from pulling the trigger on investing in one such as the features, or lack thereof, price and/or compatibility. With today’s technology, I felt more comfortable making that investment to bring more realistic racing into our living room with the new Turtle Beach VelocityOne Race Wheel and Pedal System which, in my opinion, has some of the best features, at the right price point and the most compatible with my PC set up. This version is compatible with the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Window 10 and 11 PCs and connects using a simple USB-A cable. To start off, when the box arrived, I was a little taken back at the size and weight. However, in many industries including tech, that typically means the products are well-made and have better parts. That being said, hauling it upstairs and unboxing the set was quite the undertaking, but the anticipation of the end game numbed my senses of becoming overwhelmed. Thankfully, the large instruction sheet right at the top of the system made things much easier for assembly and set up walking me step-by-step through the process. Once I figured out where I was going to set the wheel and pedals where they would be comfortable with my computer desk and chair along with figuring out what wires went where, I sat eagerly awaiting my first racing game to load up. I pressed the power button on the right side of the wheel and watched as the interactive built-in screen appeared on the wheel itself and began the initial setup process and looking to see what other fun features I could tinker with before the green flag waived. The setup was fairly self-explanatory with on screen prompts to guide me through the process and my PC and game I was about to play automatically recognized the peripherals were attached. Now, let’s cut to the chase for the most important and exciting parts of the review, the user interaction, playability, customization and features. As I previously mentioned, you can really feel the quality of the hand-stitched leather steering wheel and aluminum throttle, brake and clutch pedals because of the materials they used; they don’t feel cheap and actually feel like a high-end racing steering wheel, paddle shifters, heavy metallic pedals and impressive behind-the-wheel Race Management Display (RMD). I want to start off by delving into the RMD as I feel it is what draws the most attention at first glance. This digital display is so advanced that it can provide real-time race stats including the degree the wheel is turned, amount of pressure you are putting on the gas/brake/clutch pedals, buttons you are pushing, etc. You are also able to customize just about every aspect of your setup and experience through the display without having to download additional software or go through the game menus. This, in itself, was insane to me considering that’s what you become accustomed to with most other gaming peripherals such as mice and controllers. The main AAA racing games I have played already support the racing system so there was really no need to do any extreme tweaking to my system for set up and was truly plug-and-play. Once you get comfortable with your customizations, you can save those presets to up to ten different profiles which is convenient when you have guests/children over that want to mess with your settings. Once I got my first green flag using the system, I could not believe the amount of force feedback I was receiving from an at-home racing wheel. Obviously, there was a little bit of a learning curve transitioning from decades of controller usage to a legitimate steering wheel so I got to feel firsthand what happens to your steering wheel when you drive off the track, onto the dirt and into a wall or competitor’s car (oops). The steering wheel would gently shake when taking turns too fast as if my wheels were skidding or brakes were locking up. Once I was off the track and in the dirt, the wheel would shake even more as I was trying to fight to get back onto the track as my wheels felt as if they were kicking up gravel and rock. At that point, it became too late as my car had already lost control and I let go of the steering wheel watching the wall quickly approaching. The steering wheel turned violently by itself like watching someone in Nascar wreck and lose control on their POV helmet camera as they tucked their hands to their chest in hopes to not break fingers or a wrist all while letting the steering wheel take life of its own jerking one way and then the next depending on which way the wheels were turned. Unlike a real racecar driver who just wrecked a million-dollar machine and any chance of standing on the podium, I simply laughed and pressed the “R” button to rewind back to where I should have started braking and tried the turn all over again. After my first few races, I was like a spoiled kid after Christmas and couldn’t wait to tell my older kids and friends what my newest toy was and let them experience it for themselves. I’ll step off my soapbox now and continue my review of the rest of the system. All that previous hype about my first experience with the wheel was made possible by Turtle Beach’s Ultra-Realistic, K: Drive Force Feedback Motor which they highlighted on the wheel base with a window and lighting dedicated to view the beast inside the system. The power this motor can produce to mimic real racing is absolutely incredible and there is virtually no delay in response from the wheel and pedals to what is actually happening on the game in real-time. The Mag-Shift shifting paddles located behind the wheel are ergonomically sound and feel smooth when shifting gears. Let’s not forget about the pedals which are also very responsive and well made using the Dynamic Brake Tek load-cell braking system which can feel how much pressure you apply to the pedals for a more realistic feel and you can adjust via the RMD or Turtle Beach’s Tuner Companion smart phone application. As if they didn’t include enough features, they even went the extra mile to incorporate an audio jack into the steering wheel base which you can use the Turtle Beach Audio Tuning to select your audio preferences including several presets. Included with this system is the hardware to secure the wheel and pedals to most sim racing stands which I may eventually invest in but for now I'm just using the included anti-slip stickers on my computer desk and hardwood floor. Overall, the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Wheel and Pedal system is more than I could have ever wished for when I finally decided to step up my at-home racing simulation and would recommend it to anyone in the market.

    Strong Wheel, Strong Value

Fueled by the increasing popularity of motorsports around the world and overall affordability of hardware, the market for sim racing hardware is larger and more competitive than ever. In just the last decade, multiple boutique and established companies have entered the entry-level and midrange sim racing spaces, offering complete plug-and-play kits featuring sim racing hardware once limited to higher-end, dedicated setups. Now keen to take on the established names in the space, renowned peripheral and headphone brand Turtle Beach enters the sim racing scene with their first-ever wheel, aimed very much upmarket with a sophisticated force feedback solution rarely seen at this end of the market. Though not without some minor faults, the VelocityOne Race is a compelling first attempt and excellent value worth considering. I tested the VelocityOne Race on a Windows 11 PC, using a variety of officially-supported games (iRacing, Wreckfest, NASCAR Heat 5) and a unofficial ones (Live For Speed, Richard Burns Rally, Forza Motorsport 7). - Important Note on Force Feedback Sim racing wheels employ one of three force feedback mechanisms: Gear-driven (least expensive), belt-driven, and direct-drive (most expensive). The Turtle Beach VelocityOne Race is a direct-drive wheel, where the wheel connects directly to the output shaft of the motor. Direct drive is considered the highest quality force feedback for sim racing due to its ability to output full power directly to the wheel, resulting in highly detailed and responsive force feedback that the less-expensive solutions can’t match. As a result, the VelocityOne Race is not recommended for casual gaming. Games and simulators will need to have high quality force feedback logic for a wheel of this caliber to perform at its best - and the strength of a direct drive wheel like this one is far beyond what gear and belt-driven wheels can provide. You can injure yourself on wheels this strong if you’re careless. This is NOT a toy for kids. - Unboxing and Setup Turtle Beach puts quite a bit of thought into their products’ packaging, and the VelocityOne Race is no exception. Parts are well laid-out and thoroughly labeled, packaged with plenty of protection, and the quickstart guide is clear with easy to follow directions. All components connect to each other through common USB-C cables, which is a huge plus. As a professional-grade sim racing wheel, setup takes a bit. Mounting to a cockpit frame is the recommended approach, but the VelocityOne Race’s table clamp mechanism is arguably the best I’ve seen, with extremely rigid all-metal clamps that tighten with dedicated hex bolts hidden under the wheel base’s side panels. This can mount on a tabletop or desk up to 50mm (about 2 inches) thick, and once tightened the wheel does not move in the slightest. The pedals can be similarly mounted to a cockpit or placed on the floor, with two sets of included rubber grippers for use on either carpet or hard floors. These are adhesive, which is slightly disappointing for future changes or upgrading to a hard mount in a cockpit. Attaching the wheel is a joy thanks to Turtle Beach’s quick disconnect system, which is as sturdy as any high-end sim racing wheel base’s mechanism. Once the button box (which can be installed to either side of the wheel base) is assembled and connected, the ENGINE START button doubles as a power-on switch. Using the lower right dial and selection buttons on the wheel rim, you select whether you’re connecting to PC or Xbox, and after a reboot and recalibration for your desired game machine, you’re off to the races. - Force Feedback Performance I’ve used many force feedback racing wheels over the last 20 years, including custom, high-end solutions that require many supporting softwares and setting adjustments to work with specific simulators. Though the VelocityOne Race can’t quite match the cream of the crop, I’d argue this is about 85% as good for less than a third the money. Setting the force feedback at 80% strength, with Turtle Beach’s KDRIVE setting (which I believe represents how much of an effect to let through the wheel) at 100% with 0% damping, resulted in a responsive, detailed force feedback experience better than any of the belt-driven wheels I’ve owned, and in my opinion can only be beaten by a handful of direct-drivers. For officially supported games, the force feedback is excellent. In iRacing, the effects of brake lockup and driving over kerbing were impressively accurate with the VelocityOne Race - very much mimicking the same sensations I feel through the steering wheel of my real sports car on a real track. In Wreckfest, the sensation of weight building up in the steering column and the natural tendency of a car to straighten out from a powerslide were spot-on, smoother, and stronger than my previous belt-drive wheel. NASCAR Heat 5’s force feedback logic is a little rudimentary and jumpy, but there was still a great sensation of what it must feel like to pilot a 900-horsepower brick on wheels around Daytona. For unofficially supported games, I found the force feedback still worked very well indeed. The VelocityOne Race responds just as quickly as any direct-drive wheel, and although its peak force doesn’t reach the levels of higher end boutique options, the motor’s 7.2Nm of torque is plenty to deliver the sensation of a wheel fighting you to straighten out or be forced the opposite direction. Small details are brilliantly translated - in Richard Burns Rally, for example, it was immediately apparent when the inclination of the road shifted slightly or the surface loosened up, as the wheel responds quicker than the display. It’s very easy to drive by feel with this wheel. Most impressive of all was just how quiet and cool the wheel was throughout a long session. The motor emits absolutely no noise when it’s actuating, and even harsh rapid vibrations make more noise through the buttons on the wheel rim vibrating than anything else. The wheel base is quite large for a wheel of this size but whatever cooling solution is employed within is mighty effective. - Race Management Display Unique to the VelocityOne Race is a 5” screen called the Race Management Display (RMD) mounted behind the wheel rim. This multifunction display works both as your wheel tuning and customizing display, and as a virtual dashboard when connected to supported games and simulators through the third-party, Turtle Beach recommended, free (with available paid enhancements) SimHub software. SimHub setup was quick and painless as the software has a native profile for the VelocityOne Race. The RMD also has Xbox integration for select titles, as listed on Turtle Beach’s support site. I found the RMD decently useful for cleaning up visual clutter on simulator cockpit screens, as it can show tachometer and similar dashboard metrics styled like sports car or race car displays. It was most useful for profile adjustment and wheel customization, virtually eliminating the need to use Turtle Beach’s VelocityOne Race tuner app as it mirrors all the same functions, just on the wheel base instead of in Windows. The one thing the app allows that can’t be done through the wheel itself is firmware updates, which is expected. The RMD could be a bit brighter - even at maximum brightness it felt a little dim in a decently-lit room. - Wheel Rim, Button Box & Pedals These are the areas where the VelocityOne Race falters some. While materials quality is very high throughout, with the large leather wheel rim feeling fantastic underhand, the button layout on the wheel rim and button box comes up a bit short. Buttons are on the small side and some of the choices a bit frustrating - it’s difficult to find all but a few buttons on the wheel with your thumbs in the heat of a race, though both the shift and analog paddles behind the rim are wonderfully tactile and responsive. Besides their small size, mapping is a bit of an issue with the button box. The KDRIVE STOP button can be grazed by mistake, killing power to the wheel immediately, and this cannot be remapped. The three-position switches along the bottom only register one button press at their upmost position, limiting their utility. Very odd. The weakest part of the package has to be the pedals; the brake, specifically. Although it’s a load-cell brake that measures force instead of pedal angle (which is crucial for sim racing, as the pedal mimics the feel and action of a real car’s), the 50kg sensor is on the weak side and seemingly nonlinear, making it difficult to dial in perfectly consistent brake force. Perhaps this needs some adjustment but I could not find my consistency. - Bottom Line As a newcomer to the sim racing space, Turtle Beach’s VelocityOne Race is a solid first attempt that nails the fundamentals of direct drive at an eminently affordable price. The wheel base and rim alone are an excellent piece of kit, and with the right sim racing setup the Race Management Display does add value through decluttering the cockpit. I do wish that the button box and pedals were a bit more thought out, but there is hope that these will have better options to come. The VelocityOne Race seems to be the first entry in what Turtle Beach is planning for a larger ecosystem. An extra expansion port on the back of the wheel base suggests an H-pattern shifter or handbrake is forthcoming, but time will tell if the company’s ecosystem plans come to fruition unlike its competition in the sim racing space. Regardless, at $649.99 MSRP the VelocityOne Race is an excellent value proposition for the wheel base and rim alone, and some tweaking and firmware updates may be all that the pedal base and button box need to power your winning runs. Recommended!

I had convinced myself that my somewhat lackluster speed/consistency racing was due to using my keyboard and all I really needed to unleash my inner speed beast was a wheel/pedal set. While this unit certainly fits the bill there, unfortunately, I still lack speed and consistency...hmmmm wonder where the issue is? Big step up from a keyboard and I suspect a controller as well. Out of the box I was impressed with the build quality. Particularly the use of metal for steering paddles and pedals which contributes to its overall appearance and weight. The steering wheel is leather wrapped and is a nice thickness with a flat bottom. Maybe it could be a tad smaller. It comes with all the hardware you need as well as a large quick race guide to get you started. Setup I am running this using my gaming desktop and initially set the wheel and pedals at my desk. The wheel has built in brackets that you can use to attach to a table/desk and hide away if not used. I have hard wood flooring, so I installed the “slick” non-slip pads (spiked were also provided for carpet). I wound up doing a search for “Turtle Beach Velocity One Race Wheel” and found a great step by step video for connecting and updating the unit. Attaching side switches/power button to steering wheel was very easy. Pedals connect to wheel with USB-C cable (over 7 ft) and the wheel connects to computer using provided USB-C to USB-A cable (over 7 ft but wish it had USB-C option). Once all connected, I attached power cord (also over 7 ft with inline brick). I downloaded the Velocity tuner software – there were 2 updates. It seems to be critical that you follow the instructions for these updates to the letter to avoid issues. Once updates were completed, I went into tuning the wheel and pedals, etc. Running I have Automobilia 2 and Assetto Corso. Unfortunately, neither game recognized Velocity One. Initially in Automobilia 2 the wheel started shaking violently and the only way I could stop it was to exit the game. I didn’t realize I had to go into each game and manually map the wheel/buttons/pedals. As such I didn’t use the buttons/dials on the steering wheel nor the switches on the side panel but will in the future. There is an infinite array of settings in each game – allowing you to set up car(s) exactly as you like. For this test I simply used testing mode in each game. The steering is precise, and the direct feedback is impressive but is very intense, so much so one could damage your wrists if not careful if crashing. I think direct drive is considered the best option especially over belt driven wheels. The pedals were less impressive. For one they slid all over the floor when pressing them and the force required for the brake did not suit me. Changing the software tuning for the pedals did help a little. Overall The screen is a tad small at around 5 inches and didn’t really provide much information. Also tuning is somewhat difficult as unit isn’t recognized yet in some software. Hope future updates will correct this. The power cord going into the steering wheel is a little loose fitting so make sure it is all the way in as it causes issues if not. Ultimately, I wound up purchasing a racing seat/cage which solved the brake moving issue and would suggest you do the same. It really enhances the feeling of being in the car. Being new to using a wheel/pedal setup I don’t have much to compare it to. The unit feels solid and the overall racing experience was good and would recommend it – more so for serious gamers.

I’ve been wanting a racing wheel for some time. As the last time I had one it was the PS2 era. And wheels have come a LONG way since that time. This thing is a ton of fun and pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I tested this on my Windows 11 PC on Forza Motorsport which if I read correct was fully supported. It also works on Xbox One and Series X/S. But not PlayStation which was a big bummer to me as playing Gran Turismo would have been awesome. Everything listed below is with default settings. SETUP: It comes with everything you need to get racing. You don’t need to buy anything extra. Which I certainly appreciated. Setup process is a bit complex at first. There are several wires (all USB-C) that you need to plug in. Getting the wheel on requires a simple trick of pressing in on the back which I don’t think was listed anywhere and had to look up via video. Then I downloaded the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Tuner Companion App on my PC. It needed an update which took about 30 - 60 minutes and if done incorrectly can brick your pedals. Inside the app there is a TON of customization options. Along with a ton of buttons that you can remap inside the game of your choosing. Making it a lot to take in at first. But once you do some studying and evaluating I came to appreciate the complexity. Even though I don’t use the mass majority of it. I like that the option still exists. In general there is a ton of customizability with this wheel both in software and hardware to kind of fine tune what you are looking for. The wheel itself is not adjustable up/down. The On/Off button on the control unit on the right just turns on/off the wheel. Not your car in game. Which I thought was an interesting choice. You can also feed you’re audio through it. I didn’t do this. Also, this only works on very specific titles. So make sure the game you want to play is supported before buying this wheel. As some games have full functionality and others have limited functionality. K-DRIVE: The star of the show is the K-Drive Force Feedback Motor. They report 7.2 Nm force feedback. I have no other experience from other racing wheels but felt like the force feedback on this guy was great. Driving around the race tracks felt very realistic and the wheel pulls hard. It was moving my entire desk around at times. So, hard in fact that I think it could injure someones hands and/or shoulders if they were being careless with it. The pedals are also good. The clutch and gas felt good to me without any complaints. BRAKE TEK: The brake system is interesting. They call it Dynamic Brake Tek which is supposed to load-cell brakes to provide true-to-life braking performance. In game this was certainly true, with the caveat that it was a bit too sensitive. I would have liked to have a bit more play as I felt the difference between a smooth brake and slamming on your brake was like a quarter of an inch if that. Making it so I had to be VERY gentle. You can customize this a bit in software. But it didn’t make a dramatic difference. And is probably my biggest complaint for this guy. Also, I was using on carpet with the bumpy rubber pads. It still moved around quite a bit. Especially, the clutch side. Which again could be me going too hard. The pedals are about 8 lbs. The USB on the back got slightly bent from me pushing it against my wall. Wish that was a bit more recessed than it is to provide extra protection. As it sticks out like a sore thumb. MAG-SHIFT PADDLE SHIFTERS: This was another part that I was a bit frustrated with. They are split so you have two on each side of the wheel, on the top and the bottom. The top ones are what you use to shift up/down in your game by default. Which was tough for me as at times during a corner you are wanting to shift and making sure you were staying on the top one was difficult. Which is probably me shifting too late in game. But alas. Additionally, this could be the game or the wheel. But I found when I was shifting down it worked everytime. But when I was shifting up that it would often miss and not register the clutch and/or the paddle. Making me lose precious time and redline my car. This could be slight user error. But seeing as it was only with shifting up and was 50/50 makes me think it was more of the wheel. When I slowed down the shifting action it performed better most of the time but still didn’t work everytime. The overall feel of the paddles is great though. Buttons never got stuck (that I’m aware of) and have a crisp click to them. But the bottom ones have less of a crisp click than the top ones. BUTTONS/BUILD QUALITY: There are a lot of buttons on this device. Located on the front, right side, and attachments. Most of them feel “fine”. Sorta mushy, with a bump, and if you move them around with your finger have some play. This could be something they improve on. Otherwise, the rest of the wheel feels high quality. The stitching on the wheel is good. RACE MANAGEMENT DISPLAY: I was unable to sync my speed in game with the wheel in Forza Motorsport. I didn’t try super hard to get it working. You have information when not synced in a game of how hard or soft you are hitting the pedals which worked well and everytime. MOUNTING: I put it on my desk. You have two flaps that open on either side of the wheel. Then the provided tool allows you to loosen/tighten screws with rubber pads to put on your desk so it doesn’t go anywhere. The pedals come with either flat rubber (hardwood) or bumpy rubber (carpet) pads that you install yourself for those like me who don’t have a racing skeleton. Additionally, there are screws that you can place both the wheel and the pedals on a racing skeleton if you have one.

Honestly if I paid full price I'd go with a fanatec bundle BUT for the sale price it's a great little machine, buttons are clicky, paddles are mint. Overall good construction. And a great step up from a Logitech G923 or thrust master. My gripe honestly is the force feedback, while powerful is still very inconsistent, I'll have corners that feel fantastic with all the detail that I need and expect to put down laps consistently and then on the next lap it feels like my wheel is almost limp in some cases very hard to dial in a good setup especially in longer stints, also the software is hit or miss on the wheel, sometimes it lags. also would really love to see an F1 or gt style wheel in the future. If it's on sale, full send. If not, I would explore maybe a fanatec wheelbase bundle and pay the little extra.

The amount of features make this bundle very hard to beat! It includes a 7.2Nm of torque leather wheel with universal quick release, 3 pedals with clutch and adjustable 45kg load-cell brake, SimHub compatible display that is very useful, quick, bright, and colorful, an RGB-lit button box, mag-shift paddles, analog clutch paddles, and hall effect sensors, most buttons are backlit RGB and metal toggle switches, and cockpit-style base design. There's even little storage spaces on both sides of the base that have gull-wing style doors! There's a window on top of the base that you can see where the motor is and it's even lit up. Works on ACC, AC, AMS2, LMU, iRacing, Forza Motorsports...all my favorite racing sims feel brand new! I hope Turtle Beach release other wheels, soon. This one looks a little toyish to me but it feels good in the hands and the buttons are laid out well. I'm wondering what other wheels will fit.

For it being turtle Beach it’s an amazing product. I have one complaint about it and that’s the pedal feel very touchy at times but other than that the force feedback is wonderful. The driving experience with it is very smooth. The side panel is a nice touch with mappable buttons everything about it is just really good for the pricepoint

I had a bad one to start(would not turn on), but easy fix. Exchanged it and it's working perfectly. So far, in Forza Horizon and Star Citizen, everything is working great. I use SimHub to pull in Forza telemetry info. Ive never used a wheel controller before but it feels fantastic. Love all the tweaking you can do to get it to feel as realistic as possible. The pedals, especially the brake, take a bit of getting used to but they work just fine. I hate the button box K-drive stop button, shuts down the whole thing, they could have at least put a button guard on it. I pretty much don't use the button box so I don't accidentally hit the kill button, such a silly oversight. It would be nice to let me reassign the Kill function to the guarded(T1) switch. Over all, the wheel feels great and the desk mounting is great too. The only downsides I find are the weird brakes and weird button box.

I have to say that this wheel is really really crapy. The Logitech g923 that i own is much more superior than this crap. The only game that works flawlessly with this wheel is EA F1 24, forza motor sports is about 80% accurate, the rest of the game on there comparability list is just horrible, forza 5 the wheel constantly looses connection, and the rest of the games the wheel has barely any force feedback to no force feedback. The developers are not supporting this wheel on xbox or turtle beach just doesn’t care. I truely recommend the g923 more reliable.

Very professional wheel in my opinion. Only thing is to make sure to do your research on it. If using it for pc you are limited to very few games as of right now. However for xbox you can play whatever. The controls and amount of free play you have with this is great as of buttons and accessories. I have a few set up for start car, headlights, turbo, ext. just make sure you get it for what game you want and make sure it’s compatible for the price your paying. Overall pretty good.

Honestly the wheel feels great in hand and feedback is smooth. The amount of customization within the LCD is great and pedals feel good for the price. After latest firmware update, product unusable in Forza Horizon 5 and Automobilista 2; the peripherals show they function but none of them register in game...so I returned the product.
