    Lynch’s Best Work

The triumphant return of Twin Peaks is nothing anyone expected. If you’re looking for the quirky, schmaltzy, and largely light-hearted fun of the original series, you may hate this. This is thought-provoking, gorgeous, and oftentimes frustrating to watch, and it warrants multiple viewings to come even close to understanding what is being presented. The Blu-ray itself is gorgeous, as is the sound design. This is the way this show was meant to be watched, and is FAR better looking and sounding than the broadcast was.

    The Ultimate Lynch Experience

For those looking to hop into Twin Peaks here probably is a bad idea, but those who have followed the original show either through box sets or Netflix, this is what you have been waiting for. Without giving spoilers, the show is a slow burn that feels dream like episode to episode. It looks gorgeous on Blu-ray, better than it did on Showtime or streaming, It's loaded with special features that fans will dig in deep. For 18 hours of content I could say the price is worth it as long as you know what you're getting into.

It wasn't what I expected but i really enjoyed it. This season goes beyond strange and enters its own realm of bizzare which is both positive and detrimental to the overall story. The story itself isn't anything that special or new, but is interesting enough to watch through. The new characters fit in the world and story well. It was also great to see some familiar faces return from the original seasons. Some scenes and episodes were so bizarre that I literally had no idea what I was watching anymore and never proved its relevance to the rest of the show. There's a few entire episodes of this and eventually I grew tired of watching nonsense and just wanted the episode to end. Overall I really enjoyed watching this season and hope there will be more in the future. I would recommend this to any Twin Peaks fan or anyone interested in watching something out of the realm of normal. 4 out of 5 stars

    Twin Peaks Fan MUST

This is an absolute must for any fan, the disc solely for just David Lynch filming is worth the price of the BluRay - absolutely phenomenal to watch David Lynch direct & see it from the eyes of the actors & actresses (they have no idea what’s going on until the show airs). It brought a new perspective to seeing how Diane’s doppleganger in the red room was being filmed. AMAZING! It’s also good to see the cast together again like watching a family reunion.

Unquestionably my favorite film/television related piece of media of the 2010s, David Lynch's grand return to the small town of fine coffee and the best cherry pie in the world is nothing short of an artistic triumph and a sensation! An astonishing boxed set with all the episodes and plentiful making-of extras, this is the very best home video release of the year!

I was a fan of the original. I was glad to find this as I've been looking for it for a while. Not as good as the original, but nice to add to my collection.

I was skeptical when I heard Twin Peaks would finally be back. I know people did not like how everything went. With Dougy being focused more then most would of liked. This did not bother me at all. The show was a slow burn but kept the feeling of it being a long trip. The blu ray set is really nice and I like the artwork they made for it.

Lynchian zaniness ensues in the continuing saga of Twin Peaks. This newest entry is often times ethereal and makes the watcher pause and contemplate what they just watched. The story can be straightforward at times, but overall it is deep and winding.

Different from both the original seasons and the Fire Walk With Me feature, The Return is its own wild and woolly slice of genius. Alternating between horror and comedy, The Return is both richly rewarding and deeply challenging. This blu ray presentation is stellar and fitting for such a landmark work.

While Twin Peaks may not be for everyone, especially those not familiar with director David Lynch, anyone who kept up with the original series run will enjoy this run as well. Slow-paced, but definitely worth every watch. Don’t binge, keep the lights off, and pay attention.

I love Twin Peaks. If you're not expecting more of exactly the same and are a fan of Lynch, you'll love it. If you wanted a straight continuation of the original series, this might leave you wanting.

I know he's divisive in casual viewing circles, but, for my money, nothing is more entertaining that a David Lynch production. Brilliant isn't generous enough.

Absolutely beautiful set and disk menu designs. Over six hours of 'fly on the wall' bonus features that puts you in the middle of the set for many iconic scenes from the season. I absolutely love Twin Peaks and this is perfect for any Twin Peak fan.

David Lynch and Mark Frost redefined television in 1990 and they've done it again in 2017. Words really can't describe how brilliant Twin Peaks is and I hope there is still more to look forward to after all the lights go out in the Palmer household.

After waiting more than a quarter of a century, David Lynch and Mark Frost once again delivered a cinematic experience unlike anything in TV history. Episode 8, "Gotta Light?" is one of the most astonishing 60 minutes ever committed to cinema.

I watched the first 2 seasons when they were first aired. At first I was puzzled by Season 3 but looking back I realize that this is exactly what Twin Peaks should be like 25 years later. Not for everyone but I think it’s great.
