I accidentally ran into this movie on YouTube for trailers. Watched half of it and decided to buy it. And let me tell you, it was an AMAZING action movie. So much suspense and action. I watched hunter killer the other day and it was my favorite sub movie but this movie is definitely up there for sure.

Although it would have been imposs1ble for an American crew to man a German boat, the movie was very entertaining.

Good movie. Lots of action. Not to accurate as far as history goes but would recommend this movie.

I have seen this years ago, and when this Blu-ray version of this movie came out, I never got around to buying one until it was on sale in the five dollar bin at Best Buy Sherman Oaks. It is a nice addition to my Blu-ray collection, which includes high end Criterion Collection, etc. It is a well acted movie but could be heavy at times to watch due to the subject matter.

I jumped at the chance to replace old standard def DVD with this Blu-Ray version. This is one of my favorite war movies to watch with my adult son. We were thrilled with the video and sound quality on my 3D surround sound system. The movie itself we consider pure joy! We are baffled why the movie does not get more pub as a war classic.

I have owned this movie for many years on a VHS tape. It was past time to replace it with a DVD. As usual, best buy made this a bargain for me by letting me earn reward certificates! And I also have had free shipping for a long time. What a deal !! Very good movie !!

I've read many take downs of this movie where it's pointed out that history doesn't actually support it. Yup. Just accept that it's an alternative history film or frankly don't care about that sort of thing. Then you can enjoy this movie. And it really is a good looking enjoyable movie. Just don't reference it as fact.

A non-stop action ride. The US Navy trying to capture an enigma code machine from the Germans during WWII.

I had seen this movie many years ago at the theatre and had forgotten how good it was.There is something about submarine warfare that is very intriguing and also frightening. Very good acting and an excellent story.

This is a great submarine movie. The movie is a work of fiction based on WWII & the German Enigma code device. The U.S. didn’t capture the first machine. Bill Paxton was a good actor.

The Allies' effort to steal a German Enigma coding machine during WWII. The trick is to make sure the Germans don't find out and change codes. Great cast with Bill Paxton, Matthew McConaughey, Jon BonJovi and more. Lots of action and twists and turns.

Great movie. I had the DVD of this movie and the picture and sound of the blu-ray is tremendous and I now use the DVD as a coaster (LOL). Great movie at a great price.

I had almost forgot about this movie, but something kept tugging at me to pick it up. (Glad I did). Full of suspense, keeps you watching, Glad they went to blu Ray! I liked it when it first came out, and still like it today!

I overlooked this movie for years and when I finally watched it I was blown away. Great cast, great acting, great plot. You will enjoy from beginning to end!

Had this on dvd . The bluray is much better picture. If you like sub movies ,this one is for you.
