This isn’t just a rubber baby buggy bumper like most cases are, if they even do that much, especially for the iPhone X backside now that it’s glass like the screen. Perhaps you have to be an engineer to truly appreciate that the rigid truss web on the back of the case not only protects the fragile back glass, but distributes any corner or side impact loads thru the screws to the entire polycarbonate plate under the truss web. That’s why it has 2x mil spec rating, 10 yr warranty. The long sides of the case have a tire tread like textured grip, unlike most smooth slippery cases. I couldn’t shake it out of my grip even with a wet hand. There’s enough of a lip to protect the screen if it falls on a flat surface like a floor, the only way to damage the screen is to sit on the screen, hit it or drop it directly on something hard, but a good screen protector and an Assurion insurance plan covers that. The Red webbed case is gorgeous, but Iikely calls too much attention to the phone, I’d probably have bought it anyway but the white was on clearance for 1/2 off retail price, unbeatable deal for an unbeatable case, I can paint over the white if I want, a pearl flip flop would make it a one off, lol. I feel it’s a better investment than the Tech21 case that saved my iPhone 5 from an 8’ fall out of my shirt pocket standing in the bed of my truck onto concrete and then bouncing down the driveway. Hopefully I won’t make that mistake with my new X.

I really wanted a case that wasn’t too bulky and provided great protection. This is that case. I compared it to the Otterbox defender and found this one is slimmer and provides the same protection. This is the case to purchase if you did not spend $200 for Apple care+ The feel is great and I get compliments for the back design, I do recommend buying a screen protector just in case you drop it in a rocky area. I have purposely dropped it 3-5 times and still looks new. Definite recommend.

Picked this case up earlier this week and so far I'm loving this case. It does add a bit of bulk but I don't mind since it gives the phone more grip in my opinion. This color seems to be exclusive to BEST BUY as the UAG website doesn't even show this color. I also have a belkin tempered glass screen protector and the case lip allows me to lay the phone flat on its front and not worry about having to scratch the glass. Anyway if the price doesn't scare you away I recommend this case.

I went with the Monarch after having an Urban Armor Gear case for my iPad Pro for the last 5 months. The Monarch is a tough and attractive case, especially with the anodized back. I haven't dropped my iPhone X yet, but I have dropped the iPad, and it's UAG case protected it just fine. I do recommend getting a tempered glass cover, though. The buttons on the case work well, and the cutouts for the speaker and charge port don't interfere with sound or accessories. I have not yet had the chance to check the wireless charging, but UAG's website says it is compatible. For the best protection this side of Otterbox, I highly recommend this case!

Had the case on my phone about a week and already it has paid for itself by saving the phone’s glass. It also isn’t too bulky on this slim phone and fits well.

Been using UAG Cases for years. This Monarch series case exceeds expectations. Works perfectly with wireless charger and looks awesome as well. Only thing that would make it better is if UAG would offer a holster for it (are you listening UAG?). I’ve had some decent drops and suffered no damage.

I usually buy otterbox cases but this time around I decided to get something less bulky. I stumbled onto this case and instantly had to buy it. It looks cool and feels great. And overal it does it job at protecting the phone.

UAG has always had great products and keep it slim, stylish and protective which are three things I look for. Pair this with a tempered glass and feel comfortable that your device is protected by a fall. This red color with the leather texture in black looks amazing.

Let's face it, these phone are expensive, and some people cannot live without their phone for even a hour or so. Protecting your phone is protecting your investment (your iPhone) and your time (from trying to get a damaged phone to work after dropping it). This Urban Armor Gear case will be one of the best things you will buy for your iPhone (besides the screen protector). It has bumper protection on all sides; access to all of your ports and speakers on all sides; fits comfortably in your hand while using it; slides easily into your pocket; and looks good too. The color does not rub off, and dropping your phone usually does not damage the case. But if it did damage the case who cares right? you bought the case to protect your phone, not the other way around. Like you, I have looked at hundreds of cases, asking why this one...? Do yourself a favor and get this case, or some version of it. Urban Armor Gear offers other colors - I like colors that stand out. I've gotten compliments on the case; I've given them out as gifts. Whenever I buy a new iPhone, iPad, tablet, or laptop, I look to see if Urban Armor Gear has protection for my new tech because they provide great protection for my iPhone. Easily one of the best purchases I've made for my tech!

This case looks great. It's a lightweight case. It is made from quality materials. I feel secure. It fits very well. I like it.

This is a really great looking case but despite the description in the B.B. site, I was unsure how safe this case would be since it did not appear very padded for a fall...until I dropped my new iPhone X. It hit the cement in a parking garage. It hit, landed on edge, then bounced about 6 inches, hit and bounced twice more and came to rest. No damage. Not even a scuff on the edge where it landed the first time. If you want protection for your phone and like the looks, this is a great case.

This is a great looking phone case, plus it offers a significant amount of protection. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This is a great case. I bought one for my dad too. its comfortable to hold in your had. You have good grip and the buttons are easy to use. The wireless charging works perfectly without problems.

I love this case. It looks good and, more importantly, protects my iPhoneX really well. Which is crucial with the new glass back. The X and 8 are awesome but much more fragile than their predecessors, which makes a heavy duty case like this a must.

Comfortable grip - won't easily slide out of your hands. Great protection. I dropped my phone a few times with no issues. Priced reasonably and nice looking. Would highly recommend.

I had the original version of this case for the iphone 6+ and 7, and had considered it for my X. I normally carry my X in a more rugged case, but wanted something less bulky, and more dressy for occasions when I'm not out in the field and dont need a ton of drop or screen protection. That being said, the rubberized sides, the metal layer which adds stiffness and rear protection, i'm pretty certain this case will protect the phone in the event that its dropped. I dropped by 7 often and this case was just fine. UAG stands by their products as well, so i'm not wary at all of this case, and its one of the few $50+ cases that are worth the price.

I've had UAG as my primary iphone case for the last 3 years because of the premium quality and style. This case still keeps the high standards of UAG and I highly recommend it!
