Excellent Router Mesh

I was looking for a Router or Mesh system which would give good signal even in the second floor because it is where I set up my office room and I see amazing signal strength which I never expected. I was really disappointed with my previous very famous router or mesh system which was good in the first floor however when it comes to the second floor it becomes very very poor although I tried to place or change the mesh points diagonal or kind of triangle for good signal strength but never got to get the same. by the way my house is just 1500sqft in the first floor and 1100sqft in the second. I really want to thank my friend who recommended this Ubiquiti Router to me, finally, I am so happy with this. I got Spectrum 300 speed connected to this router and I get 150 speed on the mesh points which is awesome compared to my old which gave very poor/less speed. Coming to setup it was very easy, just need to follow the instructions given in the box. Also connecting the mesh points was more easier, just plug-in. The only thing I didn't like is the shape of the mesh point, I mean as shown the picture when plugged in, it eats up some space from the socket below so we cannot connect anything else other than this one mesh point so planning to buy a separate plugin socket which might allow me to connect two devices. Last but not least I have taken the Best Buy Geek Squad extra warranty along with this purchase so I am absolutely not worried about anything now. I have given my 5 star ratings at the same time definitely recommend this product to the people who are looking to get good strength even in the second floor.

I read a lot of review on this mesh system so far that when I change the previous one Eero, never hoped to admit but this is kind to slow. its able to handle a lot of deviced connected but for some reason mine didn't reach the download to 940mbps or the upload to 35mbps ... so disappointed... I have change all cables to cat6 and even like this its able to reach desired speed. I will return this unit, waste of time.
The pictures uploaded was tested with a wifi6 and this mesh unit, to a distanced of one feet of each unit. in the top corner of the screenshot of the speed test you may see the wifi6 and the other only on wifi. at leas 24 feet of the next room the speed of the mesh drop a lot.

This wireless router is easy to set up with their phone app. (I used the Apple iPhone iOS app.) It is a fast wireless router: period. The mesh units find the base station easily. The app provides signal strength measurements that are very intuitive and useful. Each mesh unit can be individually adjusted for maximum usefulness. For example, I needed one mesh unit to be as fast as possible, with the other mesh unit to have a longer range. I was able, through the iPhone app to toggle one mesh unit frequency (5 MHz (speed)) and the other mesh unit frequency (2.4 MHz (range)). Impressive.

After online research for a quality mesh system that works well and consistently, I went with this system and couldn’t be happier. Install was 20-30 minutes and painless. WiFi range is excellent all over our house and outside. Have had it in place for 3+ weeks with no problems. Consistently reliable. App is easy to use for install, guest access, updates, etc . Connections don’t drop. Perfect for someone who cares about quality function but isn’t super tech savvy. We love it. Our only regret is not having purchased it sooner.

This router system with the 2 extenders has lasted longer than any other routers we've had in quite some time. I like the screen where I can see when there is activity, and monitor the speed we are getting from our internet provider. It was easy to set up, and has given us no trouble. It's easy to update when they push out an update to us. A friend bought the same system on our recommendation and they have also been happy with it.

The mesh system set up was super easy with the Amplifi app downloaded on the phone. Coverage is great, even in a very long house. Easy to control options on the app make it a simple system for a beginner, but with great speed. I marked it down one notch because so far I've had to reset the device several times- but because I have new internet, I am not sure if that is a device issue or my carrier's issue. It's also more expensive than other mesh systems.

I bought this on the recommendation from several family members who have this product or another Ubiquiti router. So far we love it! It was really simple to set up with the app and changing settings is just as simple. The extenders help give perfect internet coverage in our house and our speeds are great. We have the lowest speed option from Spectrum and there's no way I would ever upgrade because with this router it's plenty for streaming, gaming and my husband who works from home and runs some demanding programs. We haven't had any issues and I would highly recommend!

This is my favorite router for a medium to large home. I work for a large cable company and this is my go to router based on performance. Excellent performance compared to anything else at this price/performance category. Easy to set up, vpn capabilities, excellent speeds and range for multiple devices connected to wifi. Do yourself a huge favor and fix your wifi with this system and stop renting crappy routers for 5.00 a month. Half of the publics wifi issues could be fixed with this product in my experiences.

KUDOS to Best Buy and Ubiquiti on this one!

First, Kudos to Best Buy. Got this for $100 less than I could anywhere else!
Second, Kudos to Best Buy again - I live 100 miles from nearest store, and it was delivered in ONE DAY!
Now, the product - it does EVERYTHING it says it will.
I have a satellite modem/router with 16 devices logged in, and did not want to change anything unless no choice, so I opted for putting the Amplifi Router in Bridge Mode. Some problems initially, until I learned that I had to set up a name and password to do anything, even pass thru using the Bridge mode.
Reason for purchase was to connect a detached workshop/garage over 100 feet from our home. Placed router in a window upstairs, put the first mesh point in a ground level garage window and the second mesh point in a window in the new shop, and everything connected flawlessly!
Mesh point in shop will connect to either the main router or the first mesh point - 64Db to the router and 54Db to the mesh point. Haven't checked throughput on each to see which is faster, but connected both garage door openers and Mitsubishi split unit a/c units (3) and absolutely no problems.
I am completely satisfied with this system. Superior range, great signal quality (connects on both 2.4 and 5 Mhz) and super easy setup.
If you purchase one of these, IMO you can't do better with Ubiquiti Amplifi HD or getting it from Best Buy, period.

Best Mesh System

I have tried different mesh systems before and amongst all this, the AmpliFi has been the best so far. Installation is done through the app and is easy to install. As soon as I've replaced an eero system, access to my wifi system increased substantially, not only in range but speed and stability.
They also have updated the 2 mesh points on this one, so it no longer is magnetized and it won't fall off by accident if you tend to bump into it.
Though a bit expensive compared to others, it is well worth the cost if it covers a lot, minimal maintenance with automatic updates.

This AmplifI HD mesh system is ridiculously ”easy” to install, easy to monitor signal strength on my iPhone, and covers a 3600 square-foot house as described. The signal strength to one mesh node is 80 to 100%..... The other one is approximately 68% most of the time. Although it claims to cover 20,000 ft.² I often lose signal strength going outside the walls of the house (which is cinder block and stucco), beyond 20 feet. It seems to work perfectly well with a SimpliSafe alarm system which requires a 2.4 GHz signal for the cameras and the video doorbell to operate properly. Within the walls of the house we haven’t lost a beat. It’s solid as a rock in terms of Wi-Fi signal. Several previous powerful routers failed miserably compared to this mesh system. I highly recommend it so far. I’ve had it for about a month but seriously doubt it’s ability to cover 20,000 ft.². That remains to be seen.
By the way I liked this mesh system so much I purchased their amplifi instant system which has only one node for a 3600 square-foot office. It seems to work just as well for that space as the more expensive amplifi HD system that has two nodes. The signal strength with the single mode system remains at 80% all the time. It’s been simply amazing compared to any other router I’ve had in that office space. Again no drop outs and no dead spots. My iPads now function seamlessly and rapidly with this single node mesh system. I say try it. You’ll like it.

I've purchased a lot of commercial Ubiquiti hardware for my company's WLAN network, but this is the first Ubiquiti purchase for my home. I was upgrading an older Asus-based network that had seen better days. Setup was incredibly easy and fast - 5 minutes max. Speed and overall performance has been exemplary. Our house is about 3000 sq ft single story and the coverage is 4-5 bars everywhere.

Amazing range and signal strength. Setup is incredibly simple. It doesn’t have the granular control of other Ubiquiti products but that’s not what this is built for. It just works, period. I am in a 3 story, 2500 sq.ft. home and have full strength signal every where indoors. I can walk approximately 300 ft from the house in any direction and still have a signal.

I’ve got 2 of these systems one at my parents and one at my apartment. Its super simple to set up and easy to use. It is pricey but super worth it. The whole house gets wifi and thats including the front yard and back yard. I’ve bought other systems for being cheap and regret not just buying AMPLIFI from the start.

I’ve tried a lot of mesh routers in the past 6 months during the quarantine. My household had an average of 15-20 devices connected such as TVs, phones, iPad and computers. It was very important for our family to have good reliable Wi-Fi.
We have at&t fiber connected at our home, so having the ability to take advantage of our bandwidth was something I wanted to do. I knew it was impossible to get the gig speed over Wi-Fi so I opted for stability.
After all my research, I pulled the trigger on this and since day 1, I have had very little to complain about. It’s a solid mesh router and it’s so simple to use and set up. We rarely had dropped connections while using it.
I’ve tried the Orbi, netgears nighthawk, linksys. This AMPLIFI mesh router takes the reign.
Keep in mind though, the 2 nodes/antennas that are included do not support an Ethernet connection. It’s barely an issue if you really need it, but there are other work around for such situations.
