    It's an AP. It broadcasts WiFi. It works. I didn't use the ubiquit setup (mesh) I just use this as an AP for my existing wifi/network and it works fine. Setup was surprisingly easy and it performs admirably. The packaging is quite fancy too lol. Not the cheapest option, but it works, and I feel like I got what I paid for. I will strongly consider buying more of these in the future to expand my network.

    Needed wifi at my barn which is about 400' from the house. Unboxed the unit and had it up and running in about 10 minutes. Put the AP in a window and tested signal at the barn. Had about 50% signal and it was less than ideal conditions. Perfect for what I need.

    Difficult to set up with my netgear router. Never could get it to work and had to return it. I was told it would be much easier if I had a Ubiquiti router but I did not want to ditch my Netgear.

    I purchased 3 Mesh points for our guest house. I unboxed them and got the guest network up and running within 20 minutes. I can get my full subscribed speed in any spot in the guest house. I would reccomend this product to anybody who doesn’t want to run Ethernet jacks in their home.

    This thing works as advertised and even better.It went trough a few windy and rainy storms while sitting on the roof top in a puddle of water.Got wet and I thought it was dead.I cleaned connection and after it dried up it was back up and running. Money well spent and connection never drops . Yes, I can easily recommend this AP for its excellent signal strength, built quality and reliability. Read instructions and manual before installation.
