I initially bought this little gem as a test item; I was reviewing speakers to see what would work best for my needs. (Travel - connect to iPad and iPhone while in room) It has a great sound to be so small; I love this little thing. I tried several and decided this one was the right size, had the right sound quality and was perfect for my needs.

This boom box has been phenomenal! Love riding my bike with it and even better listening to my music on it while exercising. Pumps me up even more. The sound is better than most large speakers! And the sound is so clear.

I listened to every speaker in the store....twice! For the price there was no comparison...99.00 Beats, not even close....jaw bone box., weak sounding. The only thing even close was the Bose...and it was allot more money...I wanted something small, under 100, that can be used as Bluetooth for calls....and decent battery life..... The sound is amazing for the size....it will fill up a bedroom or home office.... I use it on my old Saturn commuter car that doesn't have a radio.....I Velcro it to the dash and stream from my smart phone. Portable and less than buying a car stereo.

I purchased this bluetooth speaker so I could play Pandora from my smartphone for a group of 10-12 guys around a table as part of a discussion group. This speaker serves the purpose exactly. It's rechargeable (no annoying wires) using a USB cable and while small (about 2"X2.5"X5") has a great sound. Volume at 50-75% was more than enough to be heard by everyone (many of the group are hard of hearing) and when I turned it down to provide background music it still sounded great. I believe this was one of the lower priced "real" speakers and it was more than worth the price.

This is actually my second speaker. My wife took my first one and my daughter took the second. It sounds great and the speakerphone feature works flawlessly. I recommend for those who like some tunes on trips to the beach, hotels stays or just for the kids. The battery life is as stated. 8 hours.

These little UE Booms are pretty impressive for their size...they are not a Boom (it's a shame Logitech took away the option to pair these up with Booms). Two of these make for a very decent stereo sound in a decent size room. The app is nice also but wish it had more options.

Just noticed it has a mini subwoofer integrated for deep bass, UE didn't hold back when making this small but loud speaker and at a really good price!

For the price this is a great little speaker. The Bose and the standard UE Boom definitely have better sound quality but they are also significantly more expensive. You can buy 2 of the Mini Booms and pair them together for what it would cost to buy 1 of the other speakers mentioned above. The UE Mini is a better speaker than any of the JBL models. I also liked the sound better than the higher priced Sony. Absolutely recommend. Only complaint is the consistency of the Bluetooth connection. It says it'll connect up to 50ft away. That has not been my experience. Even with a direct line of sight I would say you've got 10-15 ft before you start losing sound quality.

I brought this for my dad. He does construction and wanted something small but loud this speaker is perfect!! I have the ue boom and this mini boom is almost just as loud! Great buy! Highly recommend! Super easy to use and long battery life! Dont waste your money on bose or beats go UE!!

If you expect audiophile quality from this speaker, you will be disappointed. But for what it is -- a portable, long-lasting speaker which pumps out decent sound at surprising volume -- it is great. I have only tried the single speaker setup, but this is sufficient for my needs.

I got this little speaker to use with my ipod in the truck. I was really amazed at the very rich tone the speaker puts out. Being blue tooth, there are no wires to string across the console. We really like this speaker and use it in the house as much as we use it in the truck.

I bought this for my mother-in-law for her birthday. Once I got her phone paired up with it, we cranked up some tunes. We were all blown away with the sound quality and volume of this little thing. Absolutely amazing for it's size. I would recommend this speaker to anyone.

This speaker actually works better than I expected it to. The sound comes from both sides, which definitely enhances the quality, and it is small and easy to carry around. It turns off automatically which is nice since I keep it in my bathroom. I'm very glad with my purchase!

When looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker to play audio outside, while travelling, or just around the house, you'll want to look at the UE Mini Boom. Controls are simple, battery life is surprisingly long for a speaker of this size and recharging is easy with included micro USB cable. I think you'll find the Mini Boom has impressive sound quality for its size, with fuller bass and richer mid-range tones than the Mini Jambox, its leading competitor in the portable Bluetooth speaker range. Others will probably find the Mini Jambox's appearance sleeker and prettier. I prefer the simple, more rugged form factor of the Mini Boom with its rubberized shell and solid construction - better suited for the its intended uses. No, it may not have the room-shaking power of larger speakers by Ultimate Ears, Bose or JBL. Those larger speakers also run twice the price (and higher), and aren't necessarily grab-and-go. When you consider the above, then compare the price of the UE Mini Boom and the Mini Jambox, I consider this to be the obvious choice for a portable Bluetooth speaker.

The UE Mini Boom Wireless Bluetooth Speaker puts out the sound (music) of a much larger, and more expensive, speaker. I was impressed by its sound in the store display. I was pleased to hear the same quality of deep base sound when I got the speaker home.
