Needs a way to upgrade the head unit on my 2004 Jetta while maintaining the stock monsoon amplifier. Also knew going in that the retained accessory wire was going to be needed. I follow the directions (very short) to a “T” and everything works perfect. It’s a little expensive for what it is, but it works and made a potentially difficult install super easy.

Replaced my factory radio with an aftermarket. I used this so I didn't have to cut out the old harness. This was a plug and play design. Very easy install and it kept the feature were the radio stays on after the key is removed and until the door is opened.

After installing aftermarket radio in an 04’ Jetta GL, with a regular harness, I was having an issue with the can-bus system in the car, and it would not let the car go to “sleep”. The radio would stay on with the key out, and the door open, and even if turning the radio off manually, would kill the battery, when sitting overnight. This harness mostly solved the problem. The radio will still stay on with no key, and door open, but after an hour, will shut it off, and allow the car to “sleep”. Have not had a dead battery again, by just turning the radio off manually when getting out of the car.

I was a little nervous about installing an aftermarket stereo into a Volkswagen. I've heard some horror stories about electronics causing computer failures in the car. This adapter allowed the JVC head unit to function perfectly with my vehicle.

I installed this with an aftermarket navigation unit in my car. It worked with the VW interface so the battery and accessory wire functions worked perfectly.

If installing new head unit and don't need steering wheel controls, be sure to check for lower cost harness option; this one cost one half the original proposed.

This piece was needed for my radio installation which increased the quality sound of my system.

this was a necessary part for the aftermarket deck to work properly. Unfortunately this is a cost that you can't avoid if you want your deck to work properly. So far, so good.

Easy to use if you unnderstand how to connect wires to the new radio, just gotta make sure you initiate the system correctly the first time around.

Alittle pricey but a must have to keep all factory controls. Works great! used in a 2011 jetta

Works great with the stereo for the car. Needed it to make the stereo work.

I don't use my monsoon amp i have all aftermarket. This kept the factory aspect of the aftermarket stereo. turn the car off and the stereo stays on. open the door it turns off. Whats not to love took 5 mins to put in and 1 second to love the results

This is a no brained but by far simplified the install.
