Nice art design and story tactical gameplay. Great for on the go

For fans of the series, this is closer to the spirit and gameplay of the PS3 original. The Collectors Edition is decent, but the model tank's quality is below average.

A great addition to the Chronicles series. Same type of gameplay and art, so if you enjoyed the first version or the remastered, you know what to expect

If you like turn based military strategy this game is for you. Many characters with a pretty good story but the gameplay is the best element.

This game combines a alternate Old World style aesthetic in environments with an anime art style it may seem conflicting at first but it actually melts together very well and it's a lot of fun leveling up your characters and meeting all your characters in learning more about them as The Story Goes On.

The memoirs from Battle Premium edition comes with a neat little vynl tank. The artbook is so-so. The game is very good.

So, this Premium version was on sale for a good price recently and I hadn't gotten the game yet. I pushed the button and a couple days later it came... Wait, no, just the regular barebones version came. No big box of weird premium stuff. Not sure what to do as I kept forgetting to return it... Anyway, the game itself is a great tactical war game. Indepth enough for people who really get into that sort of thing, but accessible enough for new players or more casual types.

With the Gamers Club Unlocked and the Black Friday sale, I got the game for $64 which was pretty close to the original $60 so it was a steal! The game itself is great, close to the OG Valkyria Chronicles game. Good tactics, combat and story. Recommended for those who like strategy!!

This game's collector's edition is amazing, I love the tank replica and the diary book. The game itself is a nice departure from last iterations of the Valkyria Chronicles series and returns to mechanics and concepts from the first game, which is a much welcome change in format.

Another excellent Valkyria Chronicles game. If you're new to the series or a veteran of the series you will definitely enjoy this game. I'm even happier that this game came to the switch and got a collectors edition because I feel like this series hasn't gotten much love.

If your a fan of the Valkyrie chronicles. Then you would love Valkyrie 4 with its new features and still challenging battles that make you sometimes question yourself if you saved the game before you started a battle just in case you lose some companions in battle. I recommend this to people who are into strategic turn based games and might not recommend this to a friend who is more constant action play. For example my 11 year old brother who says fortnight is better.

If you played any of the previous Valkyria Chronicles, this keeps the heart of the game. It's a fun strategy RPG. Also the vast number of characters allow you to learn the interaction between each other.

If you liked the first game and strategy type JRPGS then this is your jam. It was awesome. Highly recommend.

There is not much to it. Being the 5th installment of the series, it brings back a really unique battle system. The game shows beautiful graphics even for the Nintendo Switch. Definitely a must buy, or try the demo out first on the eshop.

This has been a great game to play after the first game got me into it with it feeling like a natural progression from the first to this one considering that I have never played the second and third games.

I usually don't play games like this, but so far it is worth it. The game has the things I ask for like a great story, characters, and many options to keep me coming back to earn and upgrade everything, while having a well balanced challenge

This game has been a lot of fun so far. The premium edition is great as well. You get a couple of DLC missions with it that are not available yet. I also really like the model that came with this edition as well. It looks great on my shelf

This is my first Valkyria Chronicles game ever. I played through the demo offered on the Nintendo eShop and was immediately reminded of Fire Emblem. It was an instabuy for me. If you’re on the fence, I suggest giving the demo a try!

I was not sure how the game was going to play, but it is a very accessible strategy RPG with heavy anime inspiration. If you enjoy Fire Emblem or Disgaea or Persona you are bound to enjoy this.

If you played the original Valkyria Chronicles you won't be let down here. Especially on the switch, I know parts 2 and 3 were portable on the PSP but the Switch is an amazingly better portable. Get it and enjoy
