This projector is awesome so far. I've had it a few weeks and have no big complaints. I love how this projector has so many different options to view items from it. I've tested most of the options and love it; my cellphone mirrors wonderfully, the laptop was an easy hook up, my older firestick was an instant success, and I even have a few movies on a jump drive and the projector played them too. The sound from the little projector is very well for its size. I did order external speakers just because when were outside we want to be able to hear those low conversation sometimes movies have. I live in FL and we mostly live outside and we wanted something different and fun for the summer. It's been a super simple set up each time I've taken it placed. Plus it came with a case so traveling with it is easy and it has a remote which is a nice feature. Overall I'm happy I purchased this one, it does everything I want it to do and even more. I'm thinking about buying another one for my bedroom. The picture quality it very nice and makes me look forward to watching movies.

I have had a few different projectors over the last couple of years and this has been the BEST & my favorite! I have had this one for 4 months and I’m just as happy and excited about it as I was back in November. The versatility and ease of use is amazing and I love using the little remote to effortlessly change the volume. I was amazed at how big & clear the picture is, as well as the range of sound that comes from such a small device. I mostly use the HD input with an adaptor for my iPad, but really enjoy screen mirroring my phone using WiFi too- SO cool!!! It also comes with a padded case making travel easy, the user’s manual is extensive yet makes setting it up so simple, and it even comes with a cleaning kit!!! I’m a fan of the company and back this product 2000%. Plus it’s affordable and honestly a bargain for how wonderful this projector is!

I considered a lot of options in home projectors before deciding on this Vankyo. It has a ton of features packed into a very affordable package. Bought it for my family as a gift and within 15 minutes of opening the box I was able to set it up and start streaming movies with the included hdmi cable. Picture is vivid and bright and looks great even when projecting it onto an old canvas backdrop. The built in speaker works well for episodes, but I recommend using the audio output to connect to a surround system to truly get the cinematic experience at home. It also includes a carrying case that holds everything needed to set it up, making this an extremely portable unit! Overall I’m really happy with this purchase and have already recommended it to family, friends and coworkers!

Awesome projector, easy to handle and clear picture quality. I recommend this projector because it is 1. Cost effective 2. Compatible with screen share option 3. Comes with hdmi cable and remote 4. Easy to handle I am liking it. After I bought this I recommended one of my friend. His family also liking it. I bought after careful research about other costlier option. I took chance because it was not that costlier so I was not sure about quality. With my experience it's totally worth option for having at home. Amazing experiences with Netflix and other options.

I mounted the projector to the ceiling using the recommended mount made by the same company Vankyo. The projector is very light and the mount is fidgety but once you get it set perfectly on the screen it remains in place. I purchased a 110" pull down white screen and hung from the ceiling, with a couple hooks, which was also very easy (see photos for light and dark projector quality). Considering the affordability of both (seems like people are doing less public presenting these days so these are always on super sale) I was very surprised at the quality of the picture. The Vankyo Leisure 470 manual states this projector will not work to show text in a powerpoint presentation, however I have used a projector from the early 2000's to do powerpoint presentations and this one does a better job at displaying text. I did follow the specs and mounted the projector at the optimal distance of around 10' from the screen, and using a MacBook was able to see text fine. The quality feels like that of around 720p displays when in a dark room. If all the lights are on the projector still works but presentations would need to compensate using a dark background graphic to help the contrast. I would not recommend this projector for using in a school room or business setting if you couldn't turn the lights down, but for watching movies on the big screen at home this works great. I purchased a low cost sound bar, but haven't even installed it yet because the projector's audio is surprisingly loud, something that I've noticed other more older expensive projectors lack. Again, it's not 4k and that's most noticeable when playing video games (GTA V Online, Cyberpunk 2077, etc) but still very enjoyable, especially for watching classic and even current movies and tv shows.

This is my first projector, though, I've seen others for comparison. I bought this as a gift for my kids' birthday so they could have movie days in their bedrooms without needing TVs installed. For that purpose, it's great. It's a fantastic option as an affordable alternative to having TVs in their rooms, which we don't want to do yet. Outside of that use, it's pretty cool for a price well below TVs with 100"+ displays. The picture quality isn't close to that of a TV. The lumens/brightness is very low, which means the contrast also is. That makes the picture look flat without any "pop." Very dark films, such as The Batman, struggle to show shadow details, while brighter films like Midsommar struggle to get as bright as the director intended. Images also tend to lack overall detail and sharpness, so the quality is usually soft and flat, as mentioned. On the other hand, there's no substitute for screen size. While a large TV has a much better picture, it'll struggle to deliver the same cinematic experience that a large projected size delivers, especially at such a low price. For $120, this projector delivers a PHENOMENAL value. Also, we just project onto a wall or bedsheet for now. If paired with an actual screen, it might look a little better. Setup is simple. There are dials for focus and tilt and menu options for projection size, aspect ratio, audio, etc. We simply connect a blu-ray player or Roku stick in the HDMI port and have instant HD viewing options. The built-in audio is surprisingly good, especially its volume capability. The unit seemingly doesn't have bluetooth capabilities to connect to exterior speakers, however, we've had no problems with connecting the Roku stick and blu-ray player to exterior speakers for better sound when desired. Also, the fan is impressively quiet and never detracts from the viewing experience. In the end, it's a great buy at $120 and does what I hoped. This is an entry level mini projector that won't impress videophiles. However, if you're not worried about having the absolute best picture on the market and would be happy with a "good enough" massive image, I highly recommend this projector.

I have been around projectors at my work and at home for over 20 years. I had taught classes in four different states in the last decade before my retirement and used different projectors that I had the company purchase in each state at BestBuy because of my recommendation of Bestbuy’s quality and their many different varieties. I currently own a top of the line 3-D Bluetooth that I have used for many years as a outdoor movie theater for my grandchildren. I also use it at various holidays to project on window overlays. I wanted another one so I could have two different projections going at the same time in our upstairs and downstairs Victorian style home. Not wanting to spend a lot of money on a 2nd projector I purchased this model and WOW...the day I received it I took it to the back patio and saw that it looked pretty cheap so I immediately took it outside and projected it on our white fence to check it out and was amazed at the clarity, the picture quality and even the sound right off the get go. I’m very happy with this purchase and recommend it for a very good quality projector

Amazing quality for the price! And the sound is also really great for the size :) Now, I'm not sure if all of them are like this but my right top corner seens a bit cut off (projection) but i didn't feel like going through a return and exchange and that's ok. Also, sometimes when going through menus and selection can be a bit slow too and once again, that's ok! Because this little projector is just amazing!!! I haven't test out the whole screem mirroring but i will update on that next time. Roku video plays in 1080 resolution (Maximum. Also depending the resolution your media) and will show pictures on next update.

I am a person who moves from one place to another for every 3-5 months and I am very addictive to the movies and shows. This projector makes my feels comfortable to watch what ever I want and its portable and light weight. I feel theatrical experience every time I watch and also makes my cousin and girlfriend same product

I've owned this project for a few months now and love it! Let me start by saying, my family loves to watch the Shrek trilogy. We watch Shrek at least 3 times a week in my household. Usually we would just watch it in our living room but the wife wanted to be more adventurous with our Shrek viewings. I searched deep and wide for a Shreking solution until I saw the Vankyo projector. The price was really good and I liked all the specs. Needless to say, I place the order and surprised the whole family! Now we watch the Shrek trilogy wherever we want. Last night we even watched Shrek Forever After in the backyard AFTER dark! Big shout out to Vankyo for making a great product and I look forward to telling more people about this great projector!

I was looking for something with an affordable price and with a good and cute size and omggggg!!!!! I love that you can use it with and without a cable for the phone, if I want to travel I can take it anywhere because of the size, it come with the white screen so you don’t have to buy it, the white screen works amazing and without works wonderfull too, you can use it with phones, tablets, laptops and Xbox’s. Is like having a huge tv but paying so much lesss, it’s a perfect gift. I want to buy another one for my nephew so he can watch movies!!! The only 2 tiny problems: * you can’t watch HBOmax and Netflix if you use the phone (but you can use it for everything else like YouTube, Crunchyroll, TikTok and other apps) but you can use a laptop for watching those two apps. * The speaker it’s not the best but not the worst, but for the price i think it’s ok.

Ok so I’ve had this projector for about a year and overall I’d say for the price it’s really good. The quality of it is nice, actually better than I expected. I will be purchasing another one though bc it now has a reddish orange blurry cast on one side of the screen but my kids have been pretty rough around it so I believe that’s why that may be the case.

I originally made this purchase for backyard movie nights with the grandkids. They are out-of-state and have not been to visit yet. I set it up to view in a wall. The picture is amazing. We use firestick and also stream concerts from android or pc. The sound is good but we use cord to attach bluetooth speaker. The added bonus is the HD 4k vankyo 120 inch screen I purchased for $29. We hung it on the far end of the pool and hang out in the water and watch. This is a bonus product. Far and few between.

I had been searching for weeks for a low budget projector with great resolution. I came to this one read the reviews and everyone saying it’s great for the price. I decided to give it a try and i am in love with it. Picture, color, sound is amazing. I was surprised that the speakers are loud and clear. The only issue I have is that the projector buzzes a little to loud but that’s expected. If you have the volume up you can barely hear it. I have the projector hit a light grey wall and picture is still great.

So far it’s been a great item for the price. The quality is perfect for outdoor movie night. We are not using it for an everyday use, so we will need to update later on how it continues to perform. But so far the speaker and the picture quality has performed great. You can’t beat the price. We used a 150in screen and you can see the movies clearly.

I bought this projector for our camp in the Adirondacks, it was easy to set up and works amazing. This is my first projector I have owned and I am happy with the quality of the picture. It’s a great little projector for home or camp I also bought a screen and it work so nice. I would definitely suggest this to anyone.

Easy to setup and Great picture quality for price. Great for movies or using for personal work. Fan is quiet and comes with carrying case!

Granted I've only had this for a couple of days so this isn't a long term review by any means For the price especially if you get in on sale this can be a steal So far I'm pretty satisfied In the box it comes with a carrying bag and HDMI cable a remote (batteries not included and it needs triple AAA batteries) And obviously the power cord and projector For 1080p in 2022 this projector doesn't look bad at all Granted it may take some tries to find the perfect placement for the projector but that is just the beauty of having a projector Definitely recommend if you want a big screen but don't want to pay $500-$1000 for a big screen tv
