After watching the Scott Hardesty and TailHappyTV YouTube reviews on this bike, I decided to go for it. I really couldn’t say much more than they said in their reviews, so if you’re interested in this bike, I highly recommend giving it a YouTube search and listening to the pretty glowing reviews for this bike.
My own personal experience with the bike after riding and adjusting to my needs and liking are all positive. Was happy to receive the box in good condition. Well packaged, but easy to unbox. The instructional video they have for assembly was thorough. Once done, went for a good first test ride.
After some adjustment to the derailleur and the brakes, my gear changes got nice and smooth and there was no rotor rub while riding. During the second ride, I stopped to adjust my saddle and handlebar positioning. So while there was some effort to personalize the bike, I’d say out of the box, it was very very close, and I only needed to make minor adjustments across the board.
On the last ride before writing this, I gave the class 3, 28 mph top speed a try. I haven’t felt this comfortable sharing the road with cars since I was at least 70 lbs lighter on my commuter bike. It’s easy to own the lane when you’re going just as fast as the other vehicles around you. I’ve since set it back to class 2, due to my state’s laws, but happy to have the option if the need arises.
All in all: So far, so good. The ride is fun and comfy. The range has been great considering my weight and the conditions I’ve been pushing it through. The speed is there when I need it with the obvious tradeoffs. It might not be Velotric’s newest offering with ALL the bells and whistles, but for the price I paid, what I got is much more than I was expecting. I’m looking forward to putting a LOT of miles on this thing!
I would recommend this to a friend

The bike run smoothly, has a light, and display on it to tell the speed and great as ebike to commute to place and able to adjust with speeds. Recommended to have a commuter.

Relatively easy to put together. I have only had a chance to test it out, so far so good. No long rides yet (hopefully tomorrow!), so I'll update if anything changes. Seems well built, I'm excited to try out the battery life.
