Great value! Lots of nice features, such as hydraulic breaks, longer range battery, 5 assist levels and 7 gears, fenders, headlamp and rear tail light that gets brighter with breaking. Love the step through and fat tires. Only complaint is how can I cruise slower when in pedal assist #1? Seems to take off as soon as I rotate the pedals, up to 8 mph. What if I want to cruise slower with pedal assist? Seems my only option is 1. Battery power only or 2. Manual mode only (heavy bike to be in manual only), but it sort of works. Takes some practice to get used to and I highly recommend first testing on a safe trail without cars or lots of people!

I have done about 2-3 years of research and waiting around for the right electric bike to be in my price range. I wanted something that could go really far and really fast. This bike was the right price for the specs. Unfortunately, the bike doesn't actually have the specs this product listing claims it does. The bike should go max 25-28mph, based on what I've read from this listing. It tops at 20mph, there's even a sticker on it stating that it doesn't go faster than that. And the only setting you'd be able to go 65miles on would be 1, which isn't very much at all. Doing 5 or anything with the throttle drains the battery super quick. I want a partial reimbursement as I've purchased the bike under false pretenses. Customer service said they couldn't help me because the bike was shipped to a store rather than my house, and to contact the store directly. I called, and online customer service answered, stating the store is no longer taking direct calls, and that I'd have to go up there in person but that he couldn't guarantee the store manager would do anything. The store is an hour from me. Save your money or buy a cheaper option that says it goes 20mph, and doesn't lie about going any faster.

Not a great experience...After taking almost 2 hours to put together (2 people job), we discovered the bike had a dent in the battery. Long, run around story later. BB initially promised then rescinded picking up the bike. Manufacturer outsources support to some third party in another country who took me round and round in circles...I simply wanted them to send me a new battery, but you'd think I was asking for a new arm. In short, I had to borrowa vehicle again and return the whole bike back to BB. Awful experience. Never even got to ride the thing...SMH

Did research and this seemed like a good buy. Ordered, picked up and went through the trouble of assembling it (wasnt easy/took 2 of us an hour) only to discover (no pun intended) it had a dented battery. BB customer service gave me the runaround so tried going to Velotric since they're who packed it with the dented battery. Even worse than BB--transferred to a foreign country with non English speaking reps. I simply wanted to get a new battery, but was told since I bought the bike from BB only they could help. After a week of back and forth and waiting, decided to return it...if something major went wrong/got a lemon, seems like Id be stuck with it since Velotric passed the buck. Would avoid...you want a company who will stand by their product and this isnt the case.

As a first time e bike buyer I did a lot of research before settling on this bike. This company crushed it for total value on everything you get with this bike. It’s a very smooth ride with the fat tires and can handle any terrain you throw at it. The motor cuts through all hills still hitting 25mph with ease. The step through makes it easy to get on and off without lifting your leg. Its a heavy bke weighing in over 70lbs but make no mistake about it that this bike is one of the best for the off beat trails.
