I went with a Samsung Galaxy S8 on the verizon network. In the past, I've hopped around on different networks trying to save money. I did save money, and I always followed the map coverage listed on the different company websites...Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T. Their maps look good. At one point I went on a road trip on the T-Mobile network, and I was shocked when I did not get coverage for 4 states in a row. I could not check my phone or internet for a week. It was not a temporary drop in coverage...it was a huge problem. I've found Sprint and AT&T to be better, but that they still drop coverage more often and have more blind spots. Verizon is the king of coverage and as a business owner I'm willing to pay a little more for that.

This is such an amazing component to Best Buy. I was unable to get a new phone due to the ridiculous expectations of phone carriers now (Who in their right mind doesn't allow upgrades?? Why would anyone sign a contract then??). However, this made me able to get the new phone I needed and not feel absolutely awful about it. I needed it, but do I have $800 to spare as a college student? NOPE!. This made things affordable and like they used to be. I will definitely continue to go to Best Buy for this deal.

Keeping my grandfathered unlimited data plan from Verizon has been a personal point of pride for me. In this day and age of data wars and Net Neutrality under threat, I plan on holding onto it as long as possible.

I simply love the fact that I can do business with Best Buy & have the opportunity to get their cell phone deals and specials without it interfering with my relationship with service carrier! Freedom and choices in the marketplace, thank you Best Buy!!!

Verizon is a great cellphone provider and recommend

My brother had LG's with Verizon for years and I have come to realize that each phone company has a brand that works for them and I know LG is a brand that works for Verizon. I love my LG G3. The screen is a nice size to watch movies on and not too bulky that it won't properly fit in your pocket (front and back fits). I love the fact that the screen doesn't scratch and I have had it in my bag mixed with keys and many pointy things and not one single scratch to the display screen. The volume buttons take some getting use to. I also like the Q-slide and dual screen feature... it comes in handy when I need to make quick calculations without losing the screen I am on or other tasks. The only thing I don't really like is the battery. It depends on what you do but if it involves Wi-Fi you will be recharging by half day. And lastly to be fair with my review, it did get a little too hot to handle one time where I had to take the battery out to cool it off but never happen again...dunno. But overall I still think it's a great phone.

Updating my Verizon plan through Best Buy when buying my iPad through them online was a pretty straightforward process. A few simple questions, and it would go through fairly quickly. The only issue I had was that as I was comparing the price daily, with coupon codes, etc, before making my purchase around black Friday, it seemed to lock me out of adding a line. I called Verizon, called Best Buy, no help, until a representative advised me to call the number Best Buy uses to contact Verizon, for verification of their customers' information. After that, it returned to being a mostly simple process. But yea, it would be nice if we could compare the prices without fully putting our Verizon info in, as each time, it's a "soft hit" on our credit, and eventually we may be locked out, especially if we're comparing prices day to day to save a significant amount of money on a potential (and anticipated) future sale.

Easy upgrade for existing Verizon customer. I usually utilize a Verizon store but decided to order a new iPhone through Best Buy as an existing Verizon customer. Took advantage of my Best Buy credit card and no interest financing. Worked slick and easy to activate when I received the phone. You still have every opportunity to untilize Verizon help and tech support if needed.

When it comes to Verizon, everyone has their opinions. Good signal, bad signal, strong data network, weak data network, etc., there will always be a good and bad to any company you interact with. But having service previously through AT&T and Sprint, when I switched to Verizon it was like coming out of the dark ages. I've now been with Verizon six years as they went from 3G to 4G, and through so many other changes, but the unlimited data plan was the move they've recently made to make me possibly stay a loyal customer for the next six years and more!

I wanted to keep my plan because it is a family plan. It has all the perks my wife and I need. Best Buy made it simple to do just that. I went on line and ordered my phone and in no time I went to the store and picked up my phone. Everything was just simple and easy and I was even able to pay for my phone thru my carrier on my phone bill.

I'm a slave to Verizon for this reason. As a power user who games and streams using their mobile device as a hotspot, my grandfatherd unlimited data is very important to me. I will continue to pay the full retail price for a phone I want in order to keep it. China has some really good Verizon compatible phones if you know where to look.

Best Buy allowing customers to keep their existing plan (family or individual) is an added bonus to purchasing a phone through Best Buy. Not only does B/B have better deals than most carriers, you get to keep your existing plan! And the wait times are shorter at B/B than at Verrzion...

I recently upgraded my iPhone and kept Verizon as my service provider. I have used Verizon for all my previous phones and have had no problem with their service. Whenever I needed to contact a Verizon agent, they have been professional and helpful.

by far the best phone I've ever owned. I especially like the fact that it is waterproof. all phones should be waterproof. the screen is also amazingly bright. the only downside is the built-in speaker is not as loud, probably due to the waterproofing. can't have it both ways I guess?

I've always been a Verizon customer since before they were Verizon. I was with GTE MobileNet. Yes, they are a little more expensive than other companies, but I don't ever have to worry about my service and that's worth it to me. They set the bar.

Well, not really sure what I'm reviewing, but I'll say that this option gave me the ability to get a good discount on a Verizon iPad mini, without having to add a new line. Basically, take advantage of offer without increasing my phone bill

I'm very happy with my Verizon plan. I was glad I was able to keep it the same at the good low-cost I'm paying. I'm not paying too much for unlimited and I'm very happy about that. I've been very happy with my service with Verizon. I've not had dropped calls like I had with my previous carrier.

I have been a Verizon Customer for nearly 15 years. I believe the price is too high and yet I stay with them as over the years I have had the least dropped calls of any of my friends on other carriers, the best 4g service for speed and dependability and their service centers have always treated me well.

Got this for one of our kids as a gift. Great little device. If you're familiar with the iPhone lineup or have other Apple devices this one will not surprise you. Great quality, small in size, fast processor. Easy to set up and use.

This was my first time adding devices to my Verizon plan through Best Buy. It was super easy and my my husband's new iPad Pro was a snap through online purchasing. He picked up and activated it in a different city. Highly recommend!
