Super easy set up through the Victrola app...it immediately integrated itself into my Sonos ecosystem and sounds great. i have had a few drop issues but nothing a reset didn't fix. I was assuming their would be some bugs (that's the price of being an early adapter) to work through but so far the bugs are minor and the joy of listening to my records through my Sonos system more than outweigh any minor annoyances that have come up so far.

I want to start out by saying absolutely love this final player for my Sonos ecosystem!! So the good things first, the record player itself is extremely high quality and has a lot of higher-end details. And the user program is absolutely flawless good job the Victoria. So far the dislikes are, the dust cover is removable but there's no place to store it, it would have been nice to have an option to attach it to the record player if needed. The rubber feet on the bottom of the record player are subpar at best compared to higher and record players which is disappointing because it can lead to loop feedback which is most likely going to happen at high volumes especially if you have a Sonos sub, the way to fix this is to move the record player as far away from vibrations as possible but if you like to watch your vinyls while you're listening to them this is a no-go. There's also a problem sometimes when you listen to a vinyl and it comes to the end of the vinyl if you don't flip it right away and start the other side of the vinyl there's a audio delay sometimes it can take up to a few minutes for the audio to catch back up to the record player. It doesn't happen all the time which leads me to believe that it's a software issue that could be adjusted with Wi-Fi but I'm not 100% sure. I can't say enough about how amazing this vinyl player is and I would suggest anyone that has a Sonos ecosystem to highly think about buying this. I'm using the (arc, dual play5's, sub)

The Best Way to Listen to Vinyl

I’ve been using this for a few days now and can say it has changed the way I listen to vinyl. My vinyl has never sounded better now that it plays over my Sonos system throughout my apartment. It was super easy and quick to setup via the Victrola app. It’s a beautiful piece of hardware (the visible carbon fiber on the tone arm is a nice touch). I have had a few dropouts here and there, but it isn’t anything that isn’t quickly and easily fixed - I would expect these to be ironed out pretty quickly. Other than, honestly, I think this is the best way to listen to vinyl.

I’ve been waiting a long time for a turntable with Sonos integration. The packaging felt very premium and the unboxing and set up experience was very smooth. The directions are very clearly listed and it only takes a few minutes to assemble the tone arm. The Victrola app is also easy to use and my device was automatically found in my Sonos app. The app gives you the option to connect to an existing stereo system. This allows me to still have an up close listening session using the bookshelf speakers if I want, with the ability to easily toggle the output in the app to play music in the kitchen or living room, where I previously could not listen to vinyl based on the location of the record player. This is a great option for people who want to get into Vinyl and already have a Sonos system or people who want to expand the reach of their current turntable’s set up.

Been waiting for some time for a turntable that will be fully compatible with Sonos. I’ve been a Sonos user since 2015! Such a user-friendly and self-explanatory system. The Victrola Turntable is by far one of the best audio product purchased. Setting the turntable is super easy and fast. Very similar to the set up of a Sonos speaker. Aesthetically, the look is clean and simple. Simply a modern look. The cover is good. Only thing I’d like was for the cover to be on a hinge so everything is in one place.

Purchased to play my LP records on my sonos speakers. The combo produces incredible sound quality, i am very impressed. Once set up the controls and app are easy. I did call the victrola help line and got right to a technician that agreed with the victrola app settings i used. I just played a record before Best Buy asked for my rating so i can honestly say its been a great 4wks listening to my 100plus LPs. Original movie soundtracks like "how the west was won" are incredible! I did find a plastic clear cover which i prefer vs. Black one in the victrola carbon box.

Great turntable. Quality is solid. I would recommend configuring the wireless audio delay setting to high—audio quality seems to go up significantly. Also, while the turntable works via Wi-Fi, it really depends on how solid your wireless network is. Having a fast router doesn’t necessarily mean you will have a stable connection which is far more important than speed in this case. If you’re wireless network is a question mark, try connecting via Ethernet for optimal performance.

I’m both a huge Sonos fan and a vinyl collector and junky. I was super stoked to find hear about this new option. I previously had a turn table ran with RCA output through a Sonos amp to the system. The cost of my old turntable and amp was more than this together, and this system is better in almost every way The unboxing was very nice, felt premium and experiential. The set up was a breeze, sans having to download a separate app (just for set up…not for using it)…super easy and intuitive. On this app you can preselect designated speakers that the system will play to within you whole Sonos system so it can be in a specific area or using your whole system It looks masculine, bold and sturdy for me, yet chic and contemporary enough that I relocated it to our living room, whereas my old system was in my man cave (per the wife’s wishes. Ha) The functionality is the best part. Drop the pin and you’re off. There’s a single knob. Hold it down for one second snd you’re automatically playing on whatever pre-selected speakers you designated on the Sonos system. The knob also controls volume as well which is great. So you can play vinyl on this turntable through Sonos without touching the app…pretty fantastic Less wires and jimmy rigging than the old system, but also the sound quality is much better as well. Not sure if it’s the turntable itself being durable and high functioning or just not running it through RCA L/r wires. Anyway if you’re into Sonos and Vinyl, treat yourself - this one is a winner.

The sound of this Victrola is really good. However, we struggle with the connectivity to the system. It doesn't always link up properly. It would be wonderful if it had an automatic tonearm for the price of this turntable.

Great idea to have a turntable that connects directly to Sonos systems. Unfortunately, it doesn't connect natively to Sonos, you have to go through a separate Victrola app that is buggy and drops connection at random times, or fails to connect without restarting the app. This makes the seamless connection idea fail half of the time. The turntable itself has a decent tonearm, but the platter and drive mechanism feel cheap - I think this is a $300 turntable with a big premium for native Sonos connectivity (that is janky and cumbersome to use). This was returned a few days ago - kudos to the customer service of Best Buy - they accepted the return without any concerns.

Looks great Sounds really good. Looks very nice, build quality is very nice Looks nice on the furniture But it does attract a lot of dust so if you have pets that might be a problem. Their is a dust cover but honestly it looks ugly & cheap with it on and it doesn't do much. I would have liked a clear basic drop over plastic dust cover that covers the entire top or a flip up dust cover. For me running an extra large air purifier in the room I still found dust on this unit at all times. So it wasn't fun to have to clean it every time I went to use it just to keep everything sounding good. I honestly did have 1 major gripe which is why I returned it While the records definitely sound really good I realized streaming the same exact song in another room on the same type of Sonos speaker sounded much better in it's digital form and much noticably louder. The record was much lower in volume output, it did provide a different audio experience, I don't know if I'd say it was a better experience, just different. The Victrola app was just ok. So if your an audiophile and can't let go of records this is an awesome add on to any Sonos system if you have the extra cash to burn. I personally have enough high fidelity audio streaming services that I realized this wasn't for me.

Having purchased many electronics over the years I was initially impressed by by the packaging and quality of the product and components. It was very easy to set-up and came with written as well as electronic instructions. I had the unit up and running within less than 5 minutes. You can configure it that as soon as you put a record on it automatically connects and starts streaming to which ever sonos zone you choose. I was initially concerned about the sound quality due to the streaming/sonos connectivity, however I was wrong. The clarity and crispness of the audio is top notch and I would recommend this for any audiophile who is concerned with quality to give this product a try. Victrola hit a home run with this product - A+++

It’s a great player. It sounds incredible and works really well. On occasion, though sometimes it doesn’t link right up and I have to close the app and reopen. But not that big a deal. I would actually give this 4 1/2 stars if I could.
