The colors on this model are not very good. White is bright. Do not recommend for home theater, as colors are very, very dull.

I am very happy with this projector. It is most affordable 4k projector on the market and I have been running my xbox one s on it. The image is amazing and crisp, even when I project it directly on my wall. It is very simple to operate, even with the remote. I hooked up a surround system to my xbox, but I have also tried the projectors internal speaker, and it seems to make a pretty quality sound. This is my first projector, so I can't compare it to anything else, but it takes about 15 seconds to turn off and 15 seconds to shut down. Also, by default, it hums, however, there is a button on the remote called "silent", which can be used to turn off the hum. Not sure of the reason behind that feature, but overall, it is a great projector and I don't even use televisions anymore, instead I always use this projector. This is one of the greatest investments I've ever made.

Was excited about a new, relatively inexpensive 4k projector and was not disappointed with the quality. That being said, it did take a pretty long time to turn on and even turn off. Also, it produces a tremendous amount of heat. These flaws were tolerable but I ultimately sent it back because it constantly had a high-pitched screeching noise while it was running. I tried not to notice it, I tried turning the volume up on my surround speakers, I tried muting the projector speakers, but it was always there slowly driving me crazy...

Works great even in ambient light. The fan is bit noisy and annoying, I can only tolerate this projector in silent mode but at a compromized performance. Color is not great due to RGBW scheme, contrast is not that good as you get it from 4K OLED TVs because black still have some light leaking out. It has light leakage all around the border. Overall for the price it is a good 4K projector.

My old Optoma Projector was making weird noises. I had my eye on getting a 4K projector to replace it but was scared of the price tag. I'm projecting on a 110" screen and use it daily for gaming. I had been keeping my eye on the PX747 and PX727 for months and researched them both diligently. I know they are not "true" 4K and use a Texas Instruments pixel shift technology to achieve 4K. I do not care. The picture quality is simply stunning for a projector. 3500 lumens in a pitch black room is stupid. I can use eco mode and still get a crystal clear (what looks 4K to my eyes) picture. When the lights are on, the colors still look brilliant. I have already started watching 4K movies and playing games with HDR and the difference from my old 1080p is night and day. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a budget 4K projector

This projector is great at picture quality. The only down side is it doesn’t have ARC hdmi or an optical out. I bought a Sonos Arc sound bar. It needs only hdmi arc or optical. Funny thing is Sonos support only audio. So no video hdmi inputs. There I ended up buying hdmi in to hdmi + optical out. So when we use optical we miss the atmos. So it’s all mess. Finally keeping the projector and decided to return the Sonos.

I got it around 1k USD, and feel satisfied with such a price. Good picture and sound quality to meet your needs. The only issue is the long waiting time for turn on and off.

The picture is great. I am using this in a large family room. I have it attached to a Roku Ultra 4k and a Perlesmith 100" 16:9 rolling screen. I ran the audio to an older Denon Receiver, using a Orei 4K 1x2 HDMI Duplicator Splitter. Was really easy to set it all up. Only regret is that I did not do this years ago!

Has great picture, great sound and pretty easy to use.

I will say that I have only owned this projector for a few weeks, and indoors it meets all of my standards. However, outdoors even with ambient light it suffers. Amazing indoor projector, bit with 3500 lumens if you are expecting to watch sports with friends, or movies with children while the daylight hours are extended you will be disappointed as the screen looks very washed out. Overall though amazing. Love it, but know the potential is for darker scenarios.

Love my new 4K projector! We wanted to replace our old 1080 P projector with a 4K version. The dimensional color and detail is exceptional. We mainly use it for movies and gaming that are projected at 120+ inches diagonal.

Purchased this overhead projector for my first try at a home theater system. So far I love it. It has a very good picture.
