When working on spreadsheets I need a second monitor for my laptop to make it easier to move between applications. So far, this is a great choice. It is the same size as my laptop monitor, which makes it easier to move windows between monitors. It is also very light weight so I can travel with it when necessary. Comes with a protective sleeve and needed cables.

I travel gor work and I needed a second monitor for my laptop. This second screen really comes in handy. It's extremely light weight, comes with a pouch for protection. The screen is just the right size and the image is good.

Works perfect as a second work monitor as well as a larger monitor to play switch and steam deck on.

DO NOT BUY. Very fragile, broke one day just being in my backpack, and I didn’t even drop it. My Dell laptop computer and iPad in my bag showed no damage at all. I was informed my issue is not covered under warranty, and I would recommend buying the cheapest monitor by price instead of this or any viewsonic product.

DO NOT BUY! Very fragile, therefore not portable! While it did survive a plane trip to california, it suffered animpact failure while in my briefcase in a drive across town. (It is very good in a protected place on a desk, but it comes with NO CASE to protect it, only a soft envelope.

Wow this is an amazing decent sized portable monitor to take anywhere you need to go. The picture is amazing as expected with ViewSonic. I would take this on the road with me everywhere. So easy to transport and it even came with a protective soft case for travel. I truly can't say enough great things about this product!!!

Very easy to use - just plug in the cable. Nice and lightweight. Lower price than most alternatives. The screen isn't quite as crisp as my laptop, so I find myself not utilizing the screen as much as I expected (if I'm just doing mundane tasks), but it's super useful whenever I need that second screen. I've been using it for over a year and it still works well.

Screen works well, I just wish the instructions were more clear as it took me a while to figure out there was a power button where there's no mention of it anywhere. I appreciated the cables provided to give options to connect and the usb-c is flat to limit movement.

Connected to my desktop with a Display Port to HDMI adapter and a USB-C cable for power was less than ideal, but the convenience of the kickstand to tilt it back on the desk to relatively extreme angles compared to a monitor with a stand has been pretty great. Plus my desk setup is not really complete, so the ability to move it around with such ease is also great. My main 43' Samsung M7 is mounted to a wall and sits roughly 3 feet from the front of the desk and right now this monitor is a little more than halfway between at about 40° from vertical to sit just under the Taskbar at my normal sitting position. The screen quality is good enough for second screen content. Haven't tried watching movies or playing games as that's not what I bought it for, but I haven't had any gripes with anything I've dragged down there. The very, very matte screen is also helpful at these angles. I haven't tried it yet, but hopefully this will do one cable connection for my laptop and Dex, which is the second reason I bought it. Even if it doesn't, this is better than a traditional monitor for second screen content. I thought going from 3 23" monitors to one large one would be the end game, but it wasn't. I can't explain why, but being able to maximize a window to either screen while still having access to other windows instead of making a bunch of windows fit on a single screen is somehow more satisfying at times. Unrelated note. The Best Buy app sprung this review request on me. Hopefully when I'm back at my desk I can break this up into multiple paragraphs. Why no carriage return in the app, Best Buy?

Portable monitors enabled by USB-C are a revelation to me, so useful when travelling. This Viewsonic portable monitor was a good price, is light and it works well. Only downside is, when plugged into my laptop, I found I can't run a mouse from the other USB-C slot. However I can charge my laptop from the second USB-C.

This screen is plug-and-play making it super easy to use, and its light weight allowd me to mount it in my truck camper to use as my TV. Unfortunately this does not work for gaming because there is a slight delay on the screen. I don’t know if this is something that can be solved in settings or not.

I used to use a ViewSonic monitor back in the mid 2000’s when i used to play vanilla WoW and kind of forgot about them since then until i needed a portable monitor. I was debating between this one and an ASUS and i decided to get this one sort of just for the nostalgia feeling over the asus one (even though i have a zephyrus asus laptop) and im glad i made this choice. Really forgot how good viewsonics are and this thing is great! I like the case, the reaplution, and the picture quality. Doesnt feel cheap even though its loghtweight.

Perfect external monitor for travel and school. I bought this for my daughter ahile she attended college. It connected to a 2019 Macbook Pro without issue. Resolution is pretty good. Very lightweight. Its very lightweight and ransports easily in a backpack with the laptop. Highly recommend.

Perfect for Sharing your Screen! For the price this screen delivers high quality colors and images! It works seamlessly with PC and Apple products! I do not use it all the time when I do it works perfectly! Do not need touch screen at this time.

Great monitor when you don’t have space or need 2 screens all the time. I work from home once a week and I use it with no problems. I need 2 screens to work but I didnt want two monitors at home since I use once a week. Also I take it when I go out of town.

So light, very high quality, one of the best things I've bought in a while. Great screen, no battery, a single USB C powers and transfers video same time but also has HDMI out and can use USB for just power.

Product works as advertised. Plugged in all the cords and Apple converter and my powerpoint played. Easy to travel with in the padded sleeve. Eliminated my need to travel with or ship a large monitor for my trade show.
